Some requests are bold - why?
In my requests window, some of the requests text is bold and some are not. I cannot see any pattern or reason for this. Is there a reason? Looks a bit jumbled. Thanks Mark

I have set the survey to send after (2) jobs are closed, but the survey is not being sent at all. This is a powerful tool to keep track of staff performance.
Switch SW3 inside Nortel Baystack 470-48T Switch
Does anyone know if the switch (labeled SW3) inside a Nortel Baystack 470-48T, will set the unit back to factory defaults? When I press the switch with power on, it does reset the switch, but I am not sure if it is setting it back to factory default. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

attachments link on pending approvals
when submitting a request for a approval, if it has a file attached it is not avalible to be opened as it is not link to the file, just displays a file is with the call. thanks Ryan
Service Packs
can you please make sure that when a service pack it is released that it is designed to work with both MYSQL and MSSQL, as this i guess is causing other major issues as well as us, i dont think it is good proctise to have to change back to MYSQl to install a service pack, as this will cause possible connection issues whe going back to MSSQL, thanks Ryan
Operational Hours
Hi, I am evaluating the software for use within our Helpdesk and one of thethings I have noticed is that the software only enable you to set one start and end time for the Helpdesk hours. We work Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm, Saturday 9am to 8pm and Sunday 10am to 5pm. Is it possible that you could add a start and end time to each day? Why would almost all my Cisco switches not show MAC address, IP address, or DNS information? All Enterasys switches show me the MAC address, IP address, and DNS information and they are setup the same way (correct SNMP and router is added). The Cisco switches do provide all the other fields (ifindex, ifName, IfDescr, IfType, IfSpeed, Status, Availability, and Vlan) and one or two ports (almost always trunk ports) will show all fields, but 95% of ports don't. Another newbie issue
I have a Cisco 2600 hooked to my firewall. I configured the 2600 via serial cable. I set the desitination/port and set the source. Changed the version to 5. I can see data via the show ip flow export and show ip cache flow commands. For some reason though I can't get Netflow Analyzer to capture the data. I setup a rule on my firewall to allow UDP port 9996 through to this server but still no luck. In fact I can't see any traffic across my firewall using that port. I'm not sure what to do next for

I am having problem adding new Monitor to Applications Manager 7. I get the Status Failed. Unable to connect to Jboss server. Error Message: Server redirected too many times (20) SNMP status SNMP Agent is not running in the System. Kindly start the SNMP Agent for Monitoring. Can't reinstall switch once delete in Switch port mapper
Hello, I changed a switch out for another model and rediscovered it. The old switch had 32 ports, this one has 12. Once I rediscovered it the 12 ports were right for the new switch, but still had 13-32 of the old switch as port of the mapping. I tried deleting the switch and re-adding it. But now it says that the switch already exists. I stoped and started the oputils and rebooted the server. What's next? Also the export feature still give the summary. Please let me know what now? Grouping Servers
Hi, it appears that all of my servers show up in one view. However, I would like to group servers according to purpose. That way, I can set different thresholds per group. I don't need my sql servers having the same thresholds as my web servers and vice versa. Is there a way I can seperate servers into groups and apply different thresholds and tests to the group? Also, is there a way to get rid of items off of the infrastructure list? For example, I'm just monitoring servers. I don't need to see

Define client VPN IP address range?
Hi All. I am collecting data from a cisco pix 515 firewall which is also used for client VPN's. The reports for VPN usage however do not show any data. Does anyone know how/where you can define what is classed as VPN client traffic? Problem with Op7 and ServiceDesk6
Hey, I added to my testing-server the ServiceDeskPLUS to test it with the new version of OpManager. It is working without any errors, but CPU load of the java.exe of the SD installation is permanently at more the 90% and slows down the system extremly. The memory usage is normaly around 90 to 100 megabytes which seems to be quite ok. With OpManager6 and SD6 there weren't such problems, have the configuration in to be adjusted to run "fine" again? Version 7 and Cisco 2811
Thank you for releasing OpManager ver 7. It looks promising. The first problem I faced today was when trying to add Cisco 2811 routers. I scanned a subnet that has 4 Cisco 2811 routers and all 4 routers were detected in the scan results. I have imported the routers but only 3 of them appeared in the Routers Infrastructure Snapshot. Unable to update status for some requests
Running latest version. I have a problem where some requests cannot be updated. If I change the status it thinks about it for a while but does not change. If I edit the request I am also unable to change anything. When saving it just goes in an endless wait. This has happened to at least two requests and is taking precious time away from dealing with customers.
Pending Request
Is there a way to have an email sent when an operator requests a change so the admin and power users know that a request has been added and also when the request has been approved the operator receives an email. Thanks
IIS Website Statistics
For some of our IIS servers the Website Statistics are not appearing, it is just keeps showing a please wait for data collection message. I have tried deleting the IIS monitor but it still keeps coming back as the same. I have also compared the server setup of two different servers with IIS, one where the Website Statistics works and one where Website Statistics does not work and can not find any different in how they are setup. OpManager v7 and Netscreen 208
Hi, I am having trouble importing a pair of Netscreen 208s in OpManager v7. I can detect them and it also says successfully imported but I can't see them on any view. I can also user MIB browser to query and get info from them. Just cant see or monitor them. I can detect and monitor them on OpManager v6. What could it be? Please help. Shareef
MSSQL Monitors
I have the premium version of OpManager and I am running build 6016. I added several MS SQL servers for monitoring and added the MSSQL WMI application monitor. While the monitor sees the databases on the server, I can not add any specific MSSQL monitors. When I click on add Monitor from a specific section I get get a page with very few options and can not see any monitors to add. I tried removing the server from OpManager and then readding it but that did not help. - Chris
License upgrade -not working
Hi, I had a permanet license for Exchange and Active Directory, and a temporal license for SQL. I have just received a permanent license for the three solutions: Exchange, Active Directory and SQL; howewer I have noticed that after I applied the new license in order to be able to see all the monitors, I have to rediscover and configurate all de servers again. I think this is not right. Is there another way to apply the license, and save all the configuration I have alredy done. Thanks
