OM6 premium linux with MSSQL2k5 backend DB: licensed or not?

hi.

we have purchased OM6 premium for linux and want to use it with a MSSQL 2005 backend database (which we already own). I have logged a case with adventnet and received instructions how to hack MSSQL support into OM6.

Now we saw a new version / servicepack available on your site which states MSSQL support is available.

i have 3 questions:
1) is this newer version (6013 i believe) a better way to get MSSQL support in our OM6? We have not installed it yet so we can do it right the first time.

2) on the service pack release notes it says i need to have and additional license to use mssql as backend, is this true? I thought that just like SD+ i could install it to MSSQL:

# Support for MSSQL as OpManager's database. This comes as an 'add-on' feature and requires licensing. Do write to licensing@adventnet.com to procure the license now!

3) not really related. i see there is a OM7 beta. can we upgrade to the final version later and are we entitled to or will it be released soon and should we wait?
