Workstations - Date acquired

Is there a way to add regular asset fields to the 'workstation' such as date acquired, vendor, purchase price, depreciation, etc.? Or am I not understanding how to use the Inventory module?

I'd like to be able to track the value/age/etc. of the PCs themselves, not just the 'assets' that are associated with them.

I've read the manual and done some searching here, but haven't found the answers I'm looking for.

Any help would be appreciated.
