HTTPS Url Monitor to Client-Cert App
Hi, I would like to create a HTTPs URL Monitor to manage a Java Web application witch have a Client-Cert authentication. The Web application is install in JBoss. But when I create the monitor I got this error: Exception en essayant dacc�der � lurl javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: Received fatal alert: handshake_failure:ResponseCode -200 Is Applications Manager 8 support a connection to Client-Cert Web Application? Changing default monitor times for CPU ect.
In version 6 I was able to change how often monitors like CPU, Interface traffic and memory were monitored. I do not see that in version 7. I had custom setup times for common resources and they did not get migrated over, where do I go to change them? Also I noticed that all the thresholding alerts that were setup for all my devices are no longer there, it looks like those did not get migrated over.
ADManager can't start
Hi All I install ADManager Plus in WinXp Sp3 and Win2003 server Std. can install sucess but when i start program till i see text show 'Loading Application Layer................' on dialog box when start program it still show '...........................................' and can't start program please help me solve problem. Custom (WMI) Resource Monitor
Hi, I'm currently on OpManager 6 and have a question about creating a custom resource monitor. I have a script that counts the size of certain folders and then returns this to opmanager (just like other scripts I have created in the past using WMI). My question is: what is the timeout value when calling a script for a custom monitor (by custom I mean one I have created myself by editing the appropriate XML files and writing a script.) The folder size command takes quite awhile to run and I think

Changed domains, Local password not working HELP!
Hi, Our main server went down a few days ago. We have everything back up and running but it seems that when SD+ was installed, it pointed to the main server which is the one that died. The local authentication method is not working because we may have the wrong password for it. Is there a way to change the main domain somewhere in SD+ without actually opening the program? Like a config file? Is there a default password that can get us in. THANKS! Hoppy

Business Rules on existing Requests
Business rules are great to automatically assign an incoming request to a technician or a group (as we do). But I have a bunch of existing requests that where there before all business rules where implemented that I'll have to assign by hand. Notifications dramatically reduce performance
Running build 6010. SMTP server is Domino 6.5.2. With notifications turned on, calls take 20 seconds to update. Without notifications, calls update in 2 seconds. Has anybody else experienced this :?:
Custom report - All interfaces utilization
Hello, We have OpManager 6015 and the DB is in MSSQL. We need to generate one report for each bussines view of �All the interfaces utilization� so we need to add the �All interfaces by Rx utilization and all interfaces by Tx utilization� . Reuse in OpManager 7 of custom monitor create in OpManager 6
hi, I would like to know if it's possible to reuse custom monitor create in Opmanager 6. When I try to associate a device to a former custom monitor, I didn't see it in the list. I see the olders custom monitors in the admin tab under monitoring but it is not possible to associate its to a device... Regards

URL Monitors Not Working
I have added 5 url monitor all but 1 show the urls as down, even though all the urls are indeed up. In fact when I click the url in opmanager it pops up the site in a small popup and displays the site to me just fine. When I edit the url and click "CHECK NOW" the following is returned: The URL http://www.nationalgpsservices.com is down, Reason : Host Unavailable. So it thinks the host is unavailable even though I know the url is up. Any ideas?
Monitoring specific process for up/down status
I don't see how to configure opManager to monitor a specific process so an alarm can be generate when the process state changes from up to down. Service monitoring is straight forward but how do you monitor a process that isn't a service ? Jerry

Problem accessing DeviceExpert configs
I have entered and verified the login info for DeviceExpert under the Add-On icon but when I go to a device and try to look at the config all I get is the login page for DeviceExpert. I can click on the routing table info and it shows it but I cannot view the startup or running configs. Any ideas?
Question on Alerts
Good Day, I have a question on Alerting. I created two alerts using the add alert profile under the alerts tab. I set it for SOX and HIPAA alerting basically. I then purposely disabled an account and re-enabled an account. While it showed up in the logs collected, it did not show up in either the SOX/HIPAA reports or the Alerts. How can i fix this? Business Views Problems
I was delighted to see I can create and edit business views in the Web based Opmanager 7. However, there seem to be a few problems. a) Opening a map in the server based map editor seems to destroy the browser created version. Even when a save view is not triggered, this sometimes seems to occur. b) Links are so slim on the web version that it is almost impossible to reselect them to edit them. Is there any way in version 6 to set password restrictions such as minimum number of characters and requiring use of a combination of upper/lower case numbers and/or special characters? For example a password like P@55w0rd? Do you offer a feature like this in V-7? Thanks.

Importing Users from Active Directory
Hi, Everytime I want to import users from Active Directory, its shows the record copied as �failed records� It shows all the relevant OUs in the preceding screen and starts the process without a hitch.
