Constant emails when technician set up vacation auto-respond
We are using your service desk plus 6 software as our in house IT ticket system. Recently, one of the techs went on vacation and put an auto response up on her email system. The system is currently in a loop where she keeps creating new tickets automatically. I could understand if she kept adding notes to one ticket, but she keeps creating NEW tickets over and over again (over 1200 so far since 4:30 today). I had to stop email fetching to get this to cease but I need to know how I can resolve this

Eventlog Analyser - Time Mismatch
Time Mismatch between 9 system(s) and the EventLog Analyzer server I'm running Eventlog Analyser trial. I'm using suse linux. I'm gathering logs from windows hosts using snare. When I happen to enter the server I receive this error: "Time Mismatch between 9 system(s) and the EventLog Analyzer server." But it seems that all the logs are where they should be, and the servers have their time clock sincronized. What should I do to get this error message out?
Upgrade from 6005 to 7010 Issues?
Hello. I'm having issues with all our monitoring after the upgrade path. The problem we are experiencing is that when there is a troubled circuit we get paged/emailed, but when the circuit clears we will get paged sometimes on lines but not other times. I have made sure that the notification is setup to notify us when a line clears. To give everyone an idea here is what we have Op setup to do. We monitor our T1 circuits which have Cisco routers on the other end for errors, line down/up, etc. When
Missing Items on Business Views
Hi All -- I wonder if anyone else has had a problem with items disappearing in Business Views? After upgrading from 6 to 7 all views were in place and correct but recently I've found a couple of views missing items. The only thing that has happened is a couple of sub-network scans occurred. Standard (non-SSL) port for OpManager 7?
I am evaluating OpManager 7 and I would like to enable access to the web interface via regular HTTP in addition to the default SSL configuration. I could not find any reference to this in the user manual, only how to change the listening port to something else. Is it possible to enable HTTP, and if yes, how? Thanks in advance, Virgil
Cannot delete host created
I cannot delete a windows host I added to LogAnalyzer. I tried deleting it using the red X, I've also selected the host from the home page and hit the red X. It confirms the deletion. but if I go to another screen say like other hosts it is there again. I click on the home button and it is still there. I've tried loggin out after I deleted it and back in, still there. I've tried to delete everywhere I see it and then when I try to readd it says it still exists.

sd Plus addon not working
I am running 7010 opmanager and i can go to admin addons and configure sd plus and run the connection test is all fine. But then i go to a computer and click on ihardware details i get the following error. So the test is good i am using sd plus everyday the server does exist in the sd plus inventory. DELL Switch Interfaces no longer appear after rediscovery
I am running OpManager 7 build (7020). Initially we had a DELL PowerConnect 3348 switch monitored with all its ports. By mistake the 'Rediscover' button was clicked in OpManager. Now the only switch interfaces that appear are the 6 LAG ports. When you click 'Add' to add the 48 regular ethernet ports it says 'Sucessfully added' but all you ever see is the 6 LAG ports. Can someone help out? Thanks.

bug with alarms clear
Hi, When you select in Alarm tab to show more than 25 alarms in the page because you have more than 25 alarms and when you decide to clear those alarms, clearing process clear only 25 alarms instead all showed in the page. For example, you have 52 alarms, you select 75 alarms per page then you clear all, only the 25 first alarms are cleared, you must redo the same thing for the rest. Regards PCO

Configuring MIB
Hi, We need to monitor a Motorola PTP 58400 device using opmanager. The vendor has send us the MIB of the device. Can anyone guide me on how to do the configuration in opmanager so that this device can be monitored. we have an opmanager central server and 18 probe servers. I have put the MIB in the location D:\Program Files\AdventNet\ME\Central\mibs. We have an option named MIB browser in the probe servers. I tried to load the MIB but it was not listed. Am i missing any steps here. Can anyone guide

Graphic in request stops other parts of SD displaying
This might sounds slightly vague, however here goes. A client of ours regularly sends in requests and their signature contains a logo. Initially this logo appears correctly, but sometimes once you reply to the message we have noticed that the reply and everything that would normally show below the original message is not there. These items include the conversations, notes and other items that SD provides. Looking at the original message again and the logo has been changed into a grey block. Go into

Is there any way to change a subcategory to an item under a different subcateory? Also, I had put in a request and had talked to someone about the fact that on one of my items, it is greyed out like it is unavailable for future use. However, when I try to edit it and uncheck "item not for further usage" it doesn't stick -- It just keeps going back to unusable. But I haven't heard anything back on the request. Has anyone else had this happen to them?
Can't access ServiceDesk web site with linux web browser

Deleting a scheduled report
There seems to be a report that is sent out weekly to a client. The client no longer needs the report but I cannot find a way to delete that scheduled report from being sent via email. It does not show up in my list of scheduled reports either. I cannot access or edit that particular report task to even delete the email address. I'm looking all thoughout the 'report' tab but cannot solve this problem. Does anyone have a solution? Thanks Paul

Strange encounter pls help
Hi All, Netflow reported of "kazaa, skinny,nessus, soulseek" application in the network. I have also trace the IP address to the host but found no such application running. I did a check on AssetExplorer for all software installed in workstations and also did not found such p2p/security application listed. Can somebody please advise me. Or how I can confirm that this is a false alarm from Netflow. Thanks!

Problem monitoring new Allied Telesys switch...
Need to monitor a new Allied Telesys switch. The basic switch template shows interfaces OK but I want to get more info by using the MIB from Allied Telesys. I uploaded the MIB using the MIB browser. The OID is .1.3.6.1.4.1.207 Using the MIB browser, I test it by getting the info using the above OID with the switch IP address. The SNMP info is returned as expected. Hi, Is it possible to string multiple reports together? For example, I'd like to run a report to generate a list of Disabled Users, and then on that list run a report to see which users don't have "Hide from GAL" checked off, and/or another report to ensure they've been removed from all groups. No traffic shown on newer Cisco router interfaces
I am running the latest revision of OpManager and am having difficulty getting traffic to show on a Cisco 2800 and 1800 series router. The traffic shows 0s for in/out. The older routers have no trouble displaying traffic. I've deleted and rediscovered the unit again a few times. It's using SNMP v.2. Any ideas why it doesn't seem to work on the newer series of routers?

Change Detection Problem
Hi I'm running into a problem where changes aren't being backed up in real time. I'm using the latest revision i.e 4300 of device expert and configured with "Real-time Change Detection" enabled for my device which is a Cisco 3725 router on IOS 12.3(5d).
