Hi, a customer generates automatically 10 reports everyweek, all are stored in the server in folders with a number, which sequence does the folders have? We found a folder with reports with a lot of numbers: 2 3 202 302 602 1002 etc How can this be explained?

Properties for new Infrastructure-view Opmanager V7
When creating a new Infrastructure-view, standard settings are made for the view. It is not possible to choose some of the SNMP-monitors for desktops in the new view. Is it possible to make a new view with the same properties as the Desktop-view, if You wish to Group teh desktops in different views?

Screen layout in Internet Explorer
There is some strange behavior of the tab contents in AD Manager when using Internet Explorer (6 or 7). When viewed in Firefox everything lines up correctly, however in IE content seems to be mis-aligned. As we use the helpdesk delegation feature and our users are using IE, it is a little confusing to them which features belong where. Anyone else seeing this?

Global View and Asset tabs for non-admins
So far as I can see the Global View and Asset tabs on the Home screen are tied to the admin role, but these are very useful views for, say, IT management to be able to keep an eye on the overall situation. It would be handy to have these tied to some other permission.
Technicians able to send/submit emails on behalf of requesters
The ability for a technician (ONLY) to send in an email on behalf of a requester (so that the request doesn't appear as coming from the sender/technician). This is useful if a technician is out of the office/on site; the email could have as the first line: REQ: Fred Bloggs, SUBJECT: Network down, PRIORITY: High Then the details can go into the body of the email. It would also be good to be able to update cases using maybe a CASE NUMBER variable in the first line?
Vista migration
First of all im sorry if this subject was already posted before but i couldnt find any info about it. I haven't been able to scan the computers, im using SD v7.002 that have Windows Vista installed. It always give the following error message: �Either access denied for the user or the remote DCOM option might be disabled in the workstation.� Ive tryed to use the troubleshooting for Windows XP and for Windows 2000 but the outcome remains the same error message. If some could give some advices.
Installation Problem
I'm trying to install Applications Manager on an Ubuntu machine without GUI. I already changed the CHMOD of the .bin-file several times. But the installation still quits without any message. I tried (chmod 777): ./ManageEngine_ApplicationsManager.bin -console Then it starts initializing the InstallShield Wizard, I see a bunch of dots and then it quits. Installation on a Debian machine worked fine. I'm pretty confused Is there anything else I could do?

Support Rep cost entries
Hi, Are there any plans for changes to be made with regards to the 'Cost Details' field for Support Reps? Currently, it seems that you can only state a single cost for a support rep. I would like to be able specify a cost per support rep per client, as we have a requirement to bill different amounts to different clients for our services, depending on the contract. eg, Support Rep A bills at �X p/h for Client A Support Rep A bills at �Z p/h for Client B etc... I look forward to hearing your comments.

Now I want a report that tells me the number of copies of "Office" installed on my network but am having a difficult time finding that report. Under "Asset" reports, I see there is an "Assets by Product" report and I filtered that report to show only the "Office Professional 2003"'s on my network, but I know there are some "Office 97"'s out there and I do not have Office 97 in my list of products because

Ignored e-mails should not re-open requests
Currently the system can ignore certain e-mails, like Out of Office, for the purposes of notification. However, these e-mails will still re-open a resolved call. Resolved calls should ignore the same things as notifications.
Closing task can crash IE
Running SDP 7 build 7009 Sometimes when I click the close button, IE will crash when SDP tries to open the 'Close Accepted' dialogue box. This has only happened since upgrading to build 7009 Does anyone else have the same issues, or know how to solve it?
How to associate DEPARTMETNS with multiple SITES

If the request is a change, they can use the new change drop down which will create a new change. So far so good. purchase request question
Hi, Im in the middle of setting up SDP 7 and i have come to the Purchasing part. The way i would like to do it is for every user to be able to make a request on their own. Preferebly even them selves chosing who to aprove the request from a drop down list. It seems though as if this cannot be done. a regular user dont even have the choice of creating a new request. Who is the purchasing part intended for and how are we supposed to use it? it does not make sense to me if the user emails the service

Changing Assets? How ?
We have a domain and it has been scanned into ServiceDesk as Workstations for each box. They are in there as an IT Asset. Now, there are something like 38 machines on our domain that are not IT Asset's, they belong to another organisation who just log onto our domain. Is there a way we can change the PC's to be Non - IT Asset's? We don't manage them and would like an accurate guage when asset reporting

Help - Device expert will not work
Hi all, I am trialling Firewall analyzer and Device expert, but am having issues with the latter. I have installed the demo twice on w2k3 servers and have the same error with each. the first time i logon, i am trying to add an fortinet (v3) device but everytime it just comes up with "device is already added to the inventory" whatever device i put in there. When there is nothing listed in the inventory. I have tried adding another Fortinet device, but that too says the same thing. There is error messages
