difference in reported traffic
im using the trial on several vlan interfaces and notice a difference in the full list of applications and then the list of involved ip addresses in a certain application. i read something on granularity but that seems unable to explain a difference between 1.6 gig and 500mb in one day. so when i check a certain application in the full list i notice in the traffic column it says 1.6gig and when i select that application i only end up with 500mb in the traffic column. any clue what is going on here?
iPhone access
Hi, Since upgrading to 7.6 of SD+, when I access it using my iPhone, it redirects to the optimised site, which is excellent - the only problem is I often want to do more than simply deal with requests from my iPhone. How can I get the iPhone to still access the full application so that I can access the other tabs (eg. Admin tab)? Thanks for any info. Bryan
SDP 7602 - InlineImages
Seems with the upgrade/fix I've carried out that the inlineimages have been disabled. Is this a common issue for all users/windows users or something specific to my implementation? Query Request to show which requests are using a particular department.
I would like to run a query in SDP to show which requests are using a particular department. The string in IE that I receive when I attempt to delete a department is Javascript:callDeptAjax('Edit',9004), can I run a query on DeptID = 9004 to show me which requests are using this department? If so, what would the syntax be? I would them manually edit these requests allowing me to delete the department in question. I know I could do this using an SQL editor, but it’s overkill and a query report would

Reading email aliases from Microsoft Exchange
We're very close to purchasing the SD+MSP product. I have a couple of outstanding issues, the most important is this: We are using an exchange 2007 server for mail. I can get SD+MSP fetching mail. That's not the problem. I know how to create email aliases in exchange for the account emails. The problem is that exchange seems to change the "to" field of incoming emails to the main email accounts address. In other words: email account = servicedesk@mycompany.com alias1 = support1@mycompany.com
Mail fetching using imap and Exchange 2003
Running 7.5.0 Build 7500. There is a bug with imap fetching and using a domain login. Everything on exchange is running fine. I enabled FULL logging on imap connecitons and I am seeing the following. Username in SD+ is set to domain\servicedesk, password is set correctly. When clicking save the following error is displayed: FAILURE :Email Settings saved successfully. But error occured while trying to check connection with mail server - Authentication Failed using the given username and password.

How to find what module is referencing a site
Hi There, We have two sites that cannot be deleted because FAILURE :<Sitename> Site is being used by a module. Hence cannot delete it. How can i find what modules are still referencing these sites? I've removed all references between requests and assets, but i still cant delete it. Is there a way i can find out what items are referencing these? Thanks for your help

Recent allarms in Snapshots
Hi, Since upgrading to version 8 (now in 8030) i have noticed that when I add a new device (router or switch) the interfaces seen during the discovery as down are seen as down and do not trigger an allarm. In this case I have interfaces on the switch or router which are down during discovery and i am not aware that they are down. Is this a normal behaviour? Build 8024 Opmanager opens the web client automatically on server reboot. I have OPManager installed as a service and I want it to run automatically, however I do not want the web client to automatically open on the Windows desktop every time I reboot the server. Monitoring file age in build 8030
When monitoring the file age (using the file monitor in build 8030), Opmanager uses the file creation time to trigger alerts. We would like to monitor the modified time of a file. I.e. Opmanager should send an alert if the file hasn't been modified for 30 minutes. Is this possible?
SLA -reapply
I have and SLA that assigns the response due time and the due by date based on the priority. If a technician then changes the priority of the call based on some new information, the SLA is not reapplied so there is no new updated due by date. eg. Priority Normal - SLA assigns due by date for next business day tech changes priority to low- the SLA for low priority calls should assign due by date to 3 business days however the SLA is not re-applied. Modify users using a CSV, adding to groups goes wrong.
Using ADManager Plus, I imported groups into an OU, so far so good. Now I created a second csv, with the format: givenName,samAccountName,memberOf. No matter how I try to import this, I get an error. Tried Modify Users and Modify groups. The error I am receiving is: Error In Acessing the group,An invalid dn syntax has been specified - Error Code : 80072032 What am I doing wrong here? The same error appears when I am trying to nest groups with an import file, so something must be wrong in my approach

Leave a copy of mail on Server

A while back, further than what my memory serves me, I remember coming across a URL that you could query from AppManager that would give you the status of all monitor thresholds in something like XML format. Hi, We have some issues with our Application Manager. We've installed 190 monitors on a windows server (1 Xeon 2.4 CPU, 2GB mem) and the monitor is reporting more and more false alerts about the health. The CPU is often on 100%, so we decided to place an extra CPU, but now we notice *** DEAD *** queries in MySQL Administrator. Removing Process Monitors in 8030
Hi! I've updated my OpManager Version to 8030. After I restarted the server a view process monitors went to "unavailable". Unfortunately I am not able to delete them. I'm not able to delete any of them no matter if the process monitor is up or down. Hint: I've added the same process monitor again and saw a difference between the old and the new ones. The old one gets his data over SNMP the new one over WMI. (but I still can't delete any of them) Also all the process monitors on our domain controller

I've already found the bat-files in "OpManager/bin/backup/*.*" I thougt I could call the batch files with windows task scheduler. Is that possible? What do I have to consider?
