AppManager bug? error in application with snmp?
Hi, I have a situation with a Solaris system running snmp. The snmpd daemon was stopped like 15 days ago but for some reason AppManager was aware of it but did not tell or report anything wrong in the application. Better yet, it keeps telling that that server was up and running but there was no data from it. This is the only msg that gives when I poll manually from website: SNMP Agent is not running in the System . Kindly start the SNMP Agent for Monitoring. And so, I still have like an old

desktop central server crash
I have a easily repeatable problem with inventory report "software by computer". The report has around 38,000 items and when I try to run it the Central Server crashes and the service restarts. Any ideas? I suspect that the java is running out of memory but I'm not sure where or if the limit is defined. The OS is server 2008 and the machine has 8Gb of memory and quite low CPU utilisation. The engine version is 7 with the 7.003 service pack installed. I can't say for sure if the problem existed before

Just a suggestion, but would it be feasible to enable users to select more than one service to monitor on the "Services by Availability" widget? Netflow - differences in reports
Hello, We are running a trial version of Netflow Analyzer 7 professional. There seems to be a difference in the outputs from some of the reports. If click on 'conversations' link i get a big list of all the source and destinations for the specified time period. There are some pie graps at the bottom. If i open up the 'top source' pie graph it shows me that, for example 37% of traffic came from source IP address 10.4.5.98. However if i click on the 'sources' link that page shows me that source

Upgrade issues!!!!!
We have several problems after upgrading to the latest build. 7.6.0 Build 7601. We are no longer able to attach files to Preventative Maintenance tickets and all of the PM tickets that we currently have, no longer have their .PDF attachments. Also we no longer receive notifications when a ticket is assigned to a technician. Service Desk seems to react Please advise. Thank you!

Software Assets Showing up Twice on Workstations
I have several users using Adobe Acrobat 8. What is interesting is that when I am allocating licenses to these users, I see their computer name showing up twice in the Unlicensed Installations. One user shows Adobe Acrobat 8.1.3 Standard for one entry and Adobe Acrobat 8 Standard as a second entry. I have one group for Adobe Acrobat 8 and have assigned all the minor versions to it. Is there a way to have SDP show only 1 copy of the software per machine?

Sort stacked barcharts by total
Stacked barcharts are not exactly logical in their sorting. Currently they are sorted by the total of the first result, but as you are unable to choose which result type this is it's fairly useless behaviour. I'd like to see stacked barcharts arranged exactly the same way a standard barchart is.

Hello, I have installed the 7.6 update and so far I'm loving it. However, we have a bit of a hodgepodge of mobile devices that our technicians use. Basically I've only been able to get the iPhones to work properly. We have a handful of Palm Pre's that will not display the website at all. The error I'm getting on the pre is Unable to Load Page Error Loading Page [115] Can you offer any insight? Thanks! --Chad

Hi, When working with Contracts I found a very big gap in the system! I know it has been around for at while (if not forever) but I think it needs to be fixed. If a customer has two products, and therefore two contracts the system should update the contract when selecting the product. And from there change the SLA! I just went through ALL our Contracts and Customers to remove the Products so that the SLA works when receiving an e-mail. Because I had two Product, but the SLA didn’t work with that

Unable to Remove Technician + Java Error's on Logon I've upgraded to 7.5 but we are getting numerous java error's on logon and i'm unable to remove a technician from the system, its removed all his detail, but he is still listed and i'm unable to add a new technician due to licensing . On logon we get error's about missing .png files we refresh and then servicedesk semi loads and then we refresh again and it loads ok. I get loading please wait (all the time) while in admin section and opening technician

Opmanager service gone
Hi, After upgrading to 8030 the opmanager service is gone for me. I can start the application with startopmanager.bat but I really need it as a service. How can I do to readd it again? Also after the upgrade the cpu, memory and disk utilization graphs doesn´t show up. Regards Stefan

Has anyone had any luck publishing only the portal with isa? I have 7 published sites in isa - all went wihout a problem and work as expected from the internet. The customer portal how ever does not - 403 Error. I can publish the main interface just fine. Anybody run into this?

Hi, Tought of putting this in a new post, since they are "Categorised". As these 2 new type of monitor "Edit window" uses collapsing panels, I would be interresting, when editing, to automatically uncollapse the configured panels, not always the top one, because if I enter a monitor I didnt setup, or I setupped a long time ago, I will have to open all the panels anyway to see what's configured and what's not. If the panel has all default values, it could be closed. If not, open it so I can see

I'm testing out the bulk modify feature and can't seem to get working correctly. The option for "User can't change the password" doesn't seem to make the change in AD. The "Password never expires" option does work fine though. Any ideas? Thanks
