Bandwidth Monitroing from virutal machines. Virtual machines are not shwoing in the Summary view

Hi there,

I am already in the test process for EventLog Analyzer, we have created the test enviroment in which we have two physical hardware machines PC1 and PC2 (Running XP SP2) on PC2 I have installed the EventLog Analyzer and on PC1 I have made two virtual machines VM1 and VM1 bother are running Windows 2003 server.

I wanted to get the details about the bandwidth utilization collecting events from these virtual machine for that I have downloaded the OpUtils.

I have installed it on PC2 and also I enabled the SNMP service and its configurations as per your documentation. But when I tried the option get interface for PC2 I do not see the machine names of the virtual machines and also when I tried the option resolve name by providing the IP address of the virtual machines I do not get their machine names and I get the message, system is on but the SNMP service is not running.

I am also not seeing the name of the virtual machine in Bandwidth Summary Option. I will really appreciate if you help me in the regard.

My objective is to get some information about the In/Out traffic and Bandwidth utilization when I am collecting events from Win 2003 and XP machine using EventLog Analyzer.

I am also attaching the two snapshot, I wante to know what is the Index and Name presenting. Is it the name of the interfaces for virtual machines statring from 3 & 4.
