I implemented SD+ several times during the last three years with no issues. This time I decided to build a fresh Windows 2008 R2 server for SD+. The installation went OK but when I tried to restore a backup file it failed with "Access Denied" error. Invisible Attachments with Exchange Sever 2007
Since upgrading to Exchange 2007, e-mails from SD+, builds 7015 & 7017, with attachments do not show the attachments from Outlook 2003 & Outlook 2007. The attachments do show up in blackberries from the same mailboxes. The attachments can be seen in Outlook if you use File, Save As, or Forward. There are documented issues in the MS Knowledgebase that are similar and our servers are patched accordingly. The only application causing us grief is SD+. E-mails with attachments from all other SMTP sources

Start New Request - Customer search question
I am using an eval version of ServiceDesk Plus. When our customers call, they provide either their location's telephone number OR customer number. When creating a new telephone request, how do I search Contacts on these two elements? It appears that you can only search on "Name." Even if I populate the "Name" with the customer number, how would I search on phone number?

I am new to support desk and working with the trial version. We support retail point of sale software. When a customer calls he can provide us with customer name or the store's telephone number in order for us to bring up the customer record. Is it possible to search on more than one field when creating a new request? It seems as though there is only an ability to search on "Name".
TrimmedBackup files have used all available disk space
Our install of SDP v6012 has crashed out, there is no disk space left for it to operate. under \Adventnet\ME\ServiceDesk\trimmedbackup we can see that a 5mb file has been created every 10mins. Please advise how we can free up some disk space and avoid having these files being created every 10mins without being deleted.

Business rule not working!!
Hi, I created new status called 'Submitted' and tried to set is as default status. There was no direct function to do that, so I set the business rule to change status to 'Submitted' when new requests come. I researched on this and found out that when you create a request through the New Request Form, the values set in the form take precedence over the ones set through the business rule. Does this mean I can never apply business rule over Status? Is there any way to make custom status value

customer view
Hello, I just tested the new release 7601 and noticed a bug in the customer view. In the admin settings I disabled the permission for a customer to view the support rep, however they are still able to see the column 'support rep' in their request view. When they open the request details the support rep field is not visible, so that is OK. Is this something that can be fixed in one of your future releases please? Best regards Christophe
ADMP -- Can't select OU's ?
I've tried both IE8 and Firefox, I log in to ADMP, on any report i click 'select OU' (as it defaults to all OU's) I check mark the OU's i want to report on, hit ok, and it goes back to the report page and still says 'all ou's' how do i fix this ?
Extra users\computers appearing in configurations
We are having an issue where extra users or computers are getting added to some configurations. It has happened to several types of configurations (software installations, logon scripts, mapped drives). The extra users\computers are not shown in the target list, only in execution status list. Hi, I can´t get the custom monitors to work when I want to divide the output. I would need to modify a system up time -monitor to display days instead of seconds. When I use the add bulk and use a syntax .1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3/8640000 the monitor doesn´t reply. Error message "The Monitor did not respond to the test request" comes up.
Error when trying to scan subnets
If I right click on a a subnet under IP Address Manager, I get an error. Its a popup window that says "An error has occured", without any information next to tool name, message, root cause. If I click to create support file, the hour glass goes forever. Also noticed in the logs that the same device gets added and removed everyday.

SOX problem
We have implemented Desktop Central and it is working very well great job. However we have just been audited with SOX guidlines and one thing I am getting a lot of pressure on is that the agent is a manuall installation (meaning human error or firewalls etc could play a roll in some systems not being update). I would like to see some kind of sync to active directory to include and automated install of the agent. This of course would require the agent to be able to understand if it is on a 192.168.2.0

In Application Manager I would like support added to where I can take a specific subsystem on the AS/400, for example QBatch and be able to monitor for a Message Waiting in that subsystem instead of just for the entire system as a whole.

OpManager losing some daily statistics

Having a problem with corrupt replication.
I'm testing rebooting servers while active SSH requests are happening. It doesn't take much to get a corrupt replication. Can we add a Server monitor which will monitor cygwin as an OS? We have a few machines which are Windows OS based, but I do not want to enable SNMP on it.. These machines however have cygwin installed on them to be able to connect to the unix-type interface and use.
