PMP service failed to start...!
Whenever I am trying to run PMP service with Domain Admin credentials, service fails to start. I have tried entering other credentials but its failing and as soon as I remove credentials and put start-up on "Local System Account" it starts working. Domain Admin credentials or other credentials which I am using are OK from every aspect. Also i suggested in my last post that please provide us any option in PMP interface to run only "Password Change Schedules" with specified Domain Admin ID(s). Please
Request Summary Report
Can the Request Summary graph that is on the Home Page - Global View tab be run as a report? I'd like to pull those exact numbers and the line graph for different times than is listed in the drop down options. i.e. - the number of inbound and the number of completed requests for this month last year Thanks!
How to restore SD+
Hi All, I all my SQL Server 2005 crashed and i installed SQL Server 2008 , b4 doing so i took a copy of the MDF and LDF file as i couldnt take a proper backup. After install the database i attached the MDF and LDF and the operation was successfull. Now when i try to login using the SD+ webconsole , it says username and password invalid. Can anyone shed some light on how i go about restoring my SD+ settings. Please

When overdue request is closed
Hi, Currently, once any request is overdue, it is marked with overdue flag even after it is closed. (Refer to attached file). It's just a bit annoying to open up closed requests and see then all as overdue when ther've all been closed. Is this something you would consider, or not? Thanks,
Chrome Support in Next Hotfix?
Has anyone seen in the next hotfix list Chrome support? The biggest issue we see with SCP and Chrome is constantly getting a message from the WYSIWYG editor that this version is not compatible but it will try anyway. We constantly have to click OK to close the window, which then the editor opens normally for us.

Problem restoring database MSQL
I was doing a server migration and now I am unable to restore my database. I have tried various backups and I either get an error stating depending on the backup I used. Help please. I tested each backup before the migration. Change standard view within the Assets tab
Standard view for Assets > Software > Software Licenses shows all the license keys. Problem with this, we do not want everyone who has the permission to see Assets to be able to see all the license keys on the software media. I spoke to Charles regarding this last week from Service Desk Plus Support, he suggested to place this enhancement. We are running on Version 7.6.0 build 7604
SLA violation e-mails not being sent
SD+ v 7.6.0 (build 7603). Fetching and sending mail from within SD (e.g. replying to a request) is working. Notification rules are set according to screenshot sla_02. I created and SLA rule (see screenshot sla_01) but nor the requestor, nor the technician, nor me receive any e-mail with the sla violation notification. How to fix/debug this? Thx! Pieter

Web Console - Can't Login Remotely
Hi. I just installed version 7, fresh (not an upgrade). I can get to the web console from the machine on which it is running, but not from my remote workstation. I chose a custom port for the web console when installing. It is using that port, and it works fine for the local attempts, but when trying from another machine (on the same subnet), it never gets anything....just times out (both IE and Firefox). Only the first MAC address from switch port mapper per port shows up in IP address area manager.
Hard to explain, but if I have multiple ip address's/mac address's connected to a single port on a switch (because the other end has a dumb switch, is a virtual server, etc), only the he first ip/mac listed in the switch port mapper section (the rest are listed when you click "more') will have that corresponding port listed in the ip address manager section. Does that make sense? Please advise.
OP-Manager delete SMS notification Q
Hi, I'm using OP-Manager installed on a virtual machine with the DB in MS SQL. We are in the latest build 8052. The SMS modem is attached phisically to the host and all is Ok if the VM doesn't move (VmWare V Motion) to another host. If this is hapening the SMS notifications will be queued. Once the VM will be moved back to the proper host and connected to the SMS modem, all the queued SMS will be sent over. Is there a solution to delete the SMS in the queue? If not I would need to wait that

I'm evaluating OpUtils at the moment and I have a question concerning the interface speed. We had some problems with the cabling in the past. The result of these problems was a change of the interface speed from 1Gbps to 100Mbps. At the moment nobody notices such a change until a problem occurs. Is there a possibility to generate an alert with OpUtils if a specified interface changes the speed? It is not necessary to generate this alert immediately. Hello, I installed and configured the SNMP for Linux per this website. http://net-snmp.sourceforge.net/docs/INSTALL.html The installation went thru find without any errors and when I type the rpm -qa |grep snmp, it gives the the version, etc. That means the snmp was installed correctly. Issues with AD integration on Service Desk Plus 7.6.0 Build 7602
Since upgrading to the latest version many users keep on having to login to service desk plus with the ad credentials please can you investigate this issue and resolve as this is annoying. Or another instance is that when adding a request you get kicked out of sd plus and have to log back in again.

I am a new user of Netflow Analyser Professional, and am looking for a way to report, or display the monthly use of an ISP data cap (perhaps as a line graph over the month), preferably with an alert indicating a higher rate of use than expected at any point in the month. Is this possible?
Multiple email addresses
Hi, I have tried to browse/search the forum but haven´t found the answer to my question. Is it possible to have 3 email addresses on the same sd+ mailbox, and depending on what mailbox the users send their request to they will be addressed to a specified queue with a business rule. Here´s an example of what i want to accomplish. Mail is sent to servicedesk@domain.com and these requests will be sent to the IT queue mail sent to admin@domain.com will be sent to the admin queue mail sent to helpdesk@domain.com

Hi, I have an OP-Manager build 8052. I have setup the performance database as below: detailed statistics: 90 days; hourly statistics: 90 days; daily statistics: 365 days; I am monitoring a switch since more then 6 months but if i want to see any report of any interface i am able to see the data just from the last 6 days including today (example: from 6.05.2010 at 01:10 till 11.05.2010 09:43). 6509 NBar not supported
I just upgraded to Netflow Analyzer 8 (fresh install). It correctly found all my devices and used SNMP to identify them but I'm having some issues enabling NBAR. NBAR support is correctly identified on most of my NBAR capable switches and I can use the software to enable NBAR on them. I am having problems with several Cisco 6509 Switches with Sup720 and Sup720-10GE supervisors. The software says that NBAR is not available and not configured, even when I manually configure it.
