After upgrading to version 7 everything still says version 6
I just upgraded to version 7 and even after rebooting the server and restarting the software it still shows the version number 6. Is this suppose to be normal?

MySQL to MSSQL database problem
I have changed databases from MySQL to MSSQL. I have followed the instructions from the converting steps but am having an issue. When I run restoreData.bat and select the latest backup, it looks like it restores everything correctly except I am unable to login. Previously, I was using AD with Pass-Through enabled. When I run a query for users in the database, the tables are empty.

Hi, id like to know if my setup is on High Availability, do i need to acquire 2 FA licenses for my 2 firewalls?
Alarm message form needs to be bigger!
The form field for entering alarm messages could do with being bigger. I use custom monitors to monitor printer consumables, and editing the alarm for when they get low so I can add aprt number of new toner, etc. is a serious pain. The form field isn't even big enough to hold the default message!! Any chance it could be changed to multi-line text field?

SNMP CPU/DISK/MEM utilization monitors
Hi! We are using the OpManager for network monitoring some ISP`s network. For some reason a few devicers that are added to the system, are not displaying the CPU/MEM/DISK utilization. I tried everything, from deleting and adding the device and utilization monitors. Hello I am a new user for Firewall Analyzer.. I have just installed Firewall Analyzer. Bu i cant see live reports or other reports... I configured and forwared Syslogs and web trend reports to my Firewall Analyzer. And i think all settings are correct. Must i wait for 24 hours or my settings ircorrect ? Another question, can i live monitoring. I mean, can i view realtime traffic in the FAnalyzer.. I watched your demo, firewall analyzer very good and usefully a software.. Thanks

Asset scan fails when PC is renamed
We name our PC's with the owners name so that when the PC changes owner we rename the PC. This has the advantage that on the network we can see machine ownership and access shared folders etc. The serial number obviously stays the same. However when using the Service desk asset manager instead of detecting the change and updating the record it throws up an error : FAILURE :Database exception while updating Workstation.Please report the problem to the system administrator, with the Error Code

Hi, I'd like to create a series of reports showing the date it was created, the date it was closed, and calculate the number of days/hours it was open for each SLA we have set up - I need this to ensure our average closure rate (days/hours) is being met against target. Bad performance and java.exe using 100% CPU
Hello I have a problem to get OpManager to run stable. First, the performance is at all times poor. Meaning: it takes long to change the view in the browser window. Second, after a week or so java.exe climbs to 100 % CPU. At this time nothing works, no alarms, no browser connection etc. I need to get this fixed, as a monitoring system that needs another monitoring system that checks if it is running is not really appropriate :-) Third: If someone has an easy description on how to get everything running

User Based Reports does not show data
Hi, I'm on the menu: User Activity Reports, User Activity Overview but no data is available. In Filter Criteria: I can not add any host to the report. Am I missing something? [Business view widget] - Show traffic map
Hi, I dont know if it is an error or it is meant this way, but the Business view widget remembers the business view "default view" when displaying, either "Map" or "List", but when "Traffic map" is selected, it always shows "map view" instead of "traffic map" in the widget. If it is not implemented, it would be nice to have this possibility, as my management wants to know the traffic prior to the status. Hi, Been clearing some Alarms on differents devices, newly unmanaged devices, or newly unmanaged services. Here's the step I do, : I go to a device, Click on a specific alarm Click delete (I dont want to "clear" because the alarm element is either no longer valid, or subject to change, so I dont want to keep the previous statuses, anyway, I want to completely delete the alarm, not only clear the status) What happens : The alarm is deleted and I land on a page
I can´t receive twitts when a service is down but when the service is getting up the twitt is received..
can anyone help me?? i´m tryin to probe if the twitts are working, i changed the IP of my router inside the opmanager (i don't touch my router) to simulate a shutdown, the opmanager shows me the alert but any twitt is sending, but when i return the correct ip on the opmanager, i receive the twitt telling me the service now is OK. what am i doing wrong?? regards

OpManager - Cannot change Vendor field
I am working with an existing OpManager 7.x environment. I am setting up the partition % free space on 100+ servers and about 40 of them did not have a 'vendor' specified even though the OS in many cases is indicated. I cannot add more counters until the vendor and OS are specified. OpManager however does not appear to let me change the vendor to anything other than 'unknown'. I would like to just change it to 'Microsoft', I also tried Dell/HP in some cases but get the same result. When I do change

Hi I have both opmanger and sdp running on the same machine in the most recent versions. My problem is that not all my opmanager devices allows me to see the corresponding sdp requests, I can do it for one device but cannot make it work on others. Unfortunately the customer needs to format and rebuild the MSSQL server from the scratch. How I can procede? I currently use Webtrends Firewall Suite 4.1c in order to generate monthly internet usage for specific users. I use offline logs, never real time cause it’s not tied in that way and mainly for cases of logs dating 6+ months ago. The Outgoing Firewall activity reports is perfect for what I need, however the definitions are out of date. Hi, I am using the trial version to see if we should go with this software or not. Basically, we would use it only for archived logs and Internet usage analysis.
