I am just in the process of setting up a proof of concept for OpManager, and am having some issues with SNMP and WMI.

I have installed OpManager and have setup one server within OpManager.

This server is the same server that OpManager is installed on.

This server has SNMP feature enabled.

The server is Windows 2008 R2.

 

Just connecting to the public SNMP credential and testing, I get a failed result.

 

When using the MibBrowser and trying to retrieve the SNMP variable of sysDescr I get "Request Failed: Error: Request Timed out to localhost".

 

Do you have any ideas why this is happening?
