Connection pool monitoring on Jboss 4.3
AppManager is monitoring my Jboss instance but is not showing the complete list of connection pools in the display - it only shows transactional or XA datasource types. no-tx-datasource is not monitored. Any ideas?

Question regarding URL Monitoring (Javascript)
Hi, I have a question regarding URL Monitoring. I want to monitor a Webinterface for a Citrix Client. I want to know if its available or not. The problem when i use the URL Monitoring is, it wont receive the real page because it cant translate javascript. The page read by OPManager is a standard "Javascript is not installed" Error Page. List all requests by a specific user
Is there an easy way to show all requests by a specific user? Currently if I want to look up an old request that I don't know the number of, but I do know the user, I create a custom filter. While not difficult this takes a couple minutes and then as to not get my custom views in the hundreds I go back and delete it when I'm done. Seems like there should be an easier way.
Performance
We are encountering performance issues when using SD+ 7611. We do have now 23.000 requests in our database and the last month we see that the performance is degrading. We already raised the max mem for the wrapper : # Maximum Java Heap Size (in MB) wrapper.java.maxmemory=768 Our applicationsserver is a VMware with enough mem and cpu and diskspace. Viewing requests from Change Management
Currently when you are in Service Requests and add/create a new change form the request, you get a link (button) to 'View Change' associated with the original Request. When you are in Change management, it is not as simple to view the associated request. There is no link to 'view request' This would be a nice feature to be able to toggle back and forth from the request to the change and vice-versa. Unable to unmanage Fibre switch ports
I set up snmp monitor for Brocade Fibre switch and removed all ports not being used but Opmanager keeps showing alerts from those ports. I had remove them from Monitor and Interfaces through unmanaging the ports already. Does any one come acroos this one and have a solution ?

Oracle Log format & log grabbing from database
Two questions: 1. I need to get logging from Oracle database (and not from syslog redirected using the command ALTER SYSTEM SET AUDIT_TRAIL=OS SCOPE=SPFILE;). Please let me know how to do it. Dashboard not working after upgrade
Hello! I just ran a test upgrade from NetFlow Analyzer 7.0 to 8.5. All of my data is there and everything appears to be working except for my dashboard. None of that was ported over and when I click to add a new widget, it takes me through the wizard and then nothing happens. It doesn't display on the dash board. If I click elsewhere and then go back to the dashboard, I have no widgets once again and am prompted to add another. I'm running Red Hat 4.8 on this machine and have tried also on

I am running the latest version of opmanager and its all running well, i have set up email alerts on various issues when they arise, only problem is i get emails all night telling me that every site is down, although when i check there are no alarms and nothing in the logs, so why am i getting these emails, usually constant from about 1:30 am untill 7am then it all clears....., and nothing in logs and no alarms during this period... any ideas? Custom OIDs / DD-WRT Router
I am trying to monitor a router with DD-WRT firmware. The OIDs that I need to use cant be found in any of the MIBs found in OpManager's MIB browser. The maker of this firmware does not provide a MIB database that I can use within OpManager. So my question is, how do I add these OIDs to OpManager so i can use them? See example below (some of the dd-wrt oids are similar to linux oids, for example for memory info - but they have a .101 at the end whereas linux oids don't therefore I can't use the

I am having ongoing problems with the rediscovery of a certain host. Originally the device was added as a custom device. We then rediscovered it as an ESX server with virtual devices using the new functionality in OpManager 8.7. Subsequently the device was deleted and then rediscovered as a standard Linux server. I successfully used DC to deploy a configuration to a specific user to restrict changes to the desktop wallpaper. Unfortunately I did that before I changed the wallpaper. SLA - difference between responded and resolved
Hi, I would like to have more details about the difference between the repsonded time and resolved time in the SLA section. Does the escalation considered by default only the ticket with the status "open" or do we have to configure the SLA to check the status field? Here are some information about our setup: - All the ticket tickets are automatically assigned to a technician as soon a ticket is created. - We use only the status open, closed and on hold.
Hiding solutions
Is there a possibility to make solutions private or public as notes are? This question because we are using SD+ for almost a year and now we are planning to open the selfservice portal. When I evaluate the solutions entered by the technicians, there are some solutions that are not for the enduser but for the technical supportgroup. So is there a possibility to hide them? 'Site' used in new tickets is wrong ?
I.e. user 'test' is assigned to 'Site' Dallas. User 'test' logs in and creates a ticket, it sets the site to 'Corporate' (which is the default if no one has a site). The site field is very important for us to know which office to call for a user, we have the correct information listed for each user but new tickets aren't being created this way. Help !
