Dear Support, The problem is that once changed "Selected Interfaces" for link down alert, no way reset to "All interfaces". Pls kindly help.

Is default view for the device based on the host-resources mib?
I monitor several wireless controlers (Motorola WS5100) and when I enter to the detailed view for the device I cannot see CPU Util/Mem Util/ Assoc. MU graphs, so I believe my devices don't respond for this SNMP query. I checked it - I Loaded host-resources MIB to external snmp manager and tested my device - only memory utilization gave me a good respond. The strange thing is that when I add performance monitor (memory util.) (from host-resources monitors)to my wireless switch there's still no graph
Incorrect values displayed during Domain Scan - SDP 8008
Hi, Looks like in the latest version of SDP domain scan dialog has some glitches in numbers such as percentage and number of stations scanned. For example it shows 563% complete for 45 stations out of 8 possible. Also the scan doesn't stop then it reaches the end, but restarts itself one or two more times. It would be great to have IPMI support in OpManager. Not only MONITORING, but hardware control too. Ability to reboot, power on and off by events. And as extension to this feature request -- ability to assign management interface to server. For example -- server has primary IP 192.168.1.1, and IPMI Remote Management interface (iLo in HP case) IP 192.168.254.1
Problems with monitoring servers
Hi Support Team! I have a question about it. I have 2 solaris servers monitoring them in 2 applications manager. Both applications manager are on linux. Today, the 2 solaris servers was down, and one of applications manager reported the down and the other no. Both applications manager are on the same network and the same VLAN. computed attributes
Hi Currently you can raise an availability alert if a threshold if breached for a number of consecutive tests. However this is applied at quite a high level. for some thresholds such as CPU usage it would be very useful to be able to set the threshold upon the rolling average value or the 95% level rather than the current snapshot; this will enable short term spikes to be excluded. Originally I though setting this on the threshold was the best approach, but it would be more flexible to create computed
Need to manage hosts that can't be pinged
It seems that you can't even edit a host unless that host can be pinged. Our firewall does not allow incoming ICMP packets, and when pinging our web servers, the load balancers are the ones responding to pings anyway. How do I manage a host that cannot be pinged? Robin Daugherty

Detailed reports for a monitor
Hi there, I often run reports for attributes like memory usage, CPU usage for the Java Runtime monitor. When I view the monitor details page, there are nice detailed graphs of these attributes, which show the activity in detail during the course of an hour. But when I click the link to view a report, the graph is very different - it only shows averages and the graph looks nothing like the graph on the details page. Is there a way to run a report for an attribute which shows the nice detailed graph,
Glance Command for HP UX
Hi OPM Team We faced this issue with one of our customers site. They are monitoring a few HP UX servers, which are constantly giving 99% memory usage, whereas, if they use this Glance command , it gives 84% or so. This is happening in most of the systems. Asset Status Not Changing
Some techs on the help desk are reporting that when they try to change an asset to in use, the user gets assigned but the status remains as in store. This is really messing our inventory up. I've been able to replicate it, and it happens to both workstations and non-IT assets. I am on version 8.0.0 Build 8007.
Remote DCOM Error
Receive the folowing error when scanning the domain with LAN Admin credentials using Build 4112. Did not receive this error with Build 4109. Either access denied for the user or the remote DCOM option might be disabled in the workstation.
SDP 8007 - Pass through authentication - does it work as standard in a Windows 2008 R2 domain?
Hi, I've been attempting to setup a test enviroment to test 8007 before upgrading from 7611, but can't get the pass thru authentication working. I have a case open with Zoho support, but they are suggesting that I need to change the NTLM policy for the domain/servers from the default, and amend various Internet Explorer settings. This seems a bit drastic to me, especially since it is working fine on 7611. Has anyone else had issue with this within a Win 2008 R2 functional domain level system? Thanks,

Automated closing not working....
I'm curious to know if anyone else has had this problem in the past? We recently turned on the automated closing process and set the duration to 1 day, but we've noticed the calls aren't closing after the set amount of time. Also, I have noticed that when we tested this out, a user could leave comments when they closed the call and it would show up in the request. Now if a user leaves a comment, it shows up in the history, but does not show up in the request? Any ideas? Thanks.
Username/login changed in windows AD, but not in Servicedesk?
User has changed his login in windows AD, but in servicedesk his old login is active, and cannot be changed. How to get the account to be associated with his new login in ad? Deleting the account and creating a new one, is not a good options as his reports/history get erased.. Jan
Bug in email processing when email sent To: and CC: to SDP
Since the 8008 update that adds technician response via emails to update the response times we've had SDP choke on several emails that users have both sent To: and CC:'d SDP. STEP Notification not working - No emails being delivered
Hello I have had reports from multiple users that they are not receiving the STEP notification. I have performed some message tracking and have been unable to find any instances of the mail being generated and delivered. I have attached for your viewing the 'serverout1.log' which does show the notification being triggered at 12:00PM as configured. Any help and suggestions would be most appreciated. Thank you. Is it possible to edit the following text on the domain user login page: Enrolled Users >> Enrol your secret questions and answers. >> Login to change your password. >> Login to update your information. Local account password change not using admin credentials
I'm having difficulty resetting local passwords on my Windows resources. I bulk imported some resources from the domain. So the local accounts discovered for each resource don't have the correct passwords. I set the resource to supply credentials for remote synchronization and set it to the administrator ID. I also update the administrator ID in PMP and the password validates as "in sync". If I try and change the password of any other local account on that resource, it doesn't work. It

PMP ports used by agentless remote password reset / change traffic
We have a secure network with firewalls between our VLANs. We do not install PMP agents on our Windows systems. We would like to reset the local accounts on servers that are members of a domain. We are looking for a listing of ports and protocol that needs to be opened between the PMP and the target server. Unable to see data on the Tabs; source, destination etc
Hello, When i open a IP group you can specify wich tab you want to see. For example source or destination. But when i clock on them i always get en empty screen or an error. Only ther datatransfer tab shows me information. I attached three images with the "errors" in it. How can i solve this? Greets Tim Clijsters

Hi Helpdesk I started the monitoring a disk space usage on a machine which is running on Win 2008 server. Is it possible to setup a disk space monitor with alert? E.g: I have C and D drive and I would like to get the alert when the D drive usage is higher than 80 %. Thanks Joe
Monitor Internet Traffic through Proxy Server
All out internet traffic goes through a proxy server. How can i monitor for example internet traffic of social media? All i can see is that all internet request go to the ip adress of the proxy server. i cannot see the ip adress of the social media site. Is the a solution for this? Thanks Tim Clijsters
