Question on DCService
We recently had to reinstall DesktopCentral due to some database corruption. Nothing too hard, and the process was relatively painless. I uninstalled the agent across the board, then recursively removed the standard install directory from all machines so I would be starting with a clean slate.
Subsequently, and only on some machines, I'm seeing a WScript popup (started by dcservice) that is trying to run a non-existant .vbs script. Since the standard install directories were clean, where does dcservice store this information? A standard 'autoruns' scan didn't show anything, and it was only through Process Explorer that I was able to determine that dcservice had started the process.
