Problem with Run command on Alert
Hi, i have a .vbs Script that need an argument via command line, if i test under CMD works great but when i put the .vbs file in the Alert Profile and put the argument via the argument field the script not work. Can you help me? Thanks in advance

Total record number when viewing report differs after exporting report
Running SDP build 8008 I run a report on our survey and get total records 74 However when I choose to export to excel and open the excel file it now says total records 134
Bogus Domains in Login
Ever since we've re-established our link to AD (AD Authentication is on, Pass-through is off), the login screen has two additional domains listed that we do not use. in addition, there is no "local" option for those requestors without a domain to use. Squeeze Bootflash Script false postive
I am running a script to squeeze the bootflash on Cisco Routers. The commands run and squeeze the bootflash. The device expert reports that the script failed. When I look at the execution output it worked. Below is the script. Do I need to add anything to state the script ended? Any help would be appreciated. Merge two instances of deviceexpert.
We have two copies of device expert running and we want to consolidate on one server. How can I export the inventory from one of the instances to import into the other running instance? Both servers have separate inventories at this time we just want to merge the two.
Top Interfaces by Traffic Rate?
Hello friends! I am need to have Top Interfaces by Traffic rate in my Dash board.. How can i do it?? Currently the options available are allowing me to only add interface by Bandwdith (which means interface banwith like 1G, 100mbps etc) or Total traffic count. I just need to have top interfaces by their current traffic rate.. any ideas??

Hi Trying the latest demo of Support centre Plus, Prob in scheduled reports I created few scheduled reports in administrator account. Deleted few . Made some changes and created new ones. Now prob is that I rec both the older ones and new ones. . Got query on one of your posts to find out who is the owner of all reports. Found that all are by Administrator. HTTP Status 500
I have installed NetFlow on my linux server under root and it looks like it is collecting successfully. I can log into the app using http://[IP]:8080 and when I click on the "One Min Graph" on the Interface View then there is a Java error shown below. Also when I click IfIndex# interface nothing is displayed. Ajax error in Asset tab
Hi, We have little less than 2000 asset registered at the moment and we'd like to add more but an annoying problem is getting in the way. When we click on any link within the Asset tab (like for instance "Workstation(s)/Server(s) Detected") i get the following error in a popup window: Error while fetching ajax response : Component returned failure code: 0x80040111 (NS_ERROR_NOT_AVAILABLE) [nsIXMLHttpRequest.statusText] This happens using Mozilla Firefox and has been replicated on multiple computers.
Change CAB request
When a change request has been sent for Recommendation and all the cab members has marked them as recommended it should change the status from "Requested" to "Recommended" automatically.
technician permissions
hi please i want to ask if there is any possibility to prevent technicans from modifying tickets except changing the status of the ticket to "resolved" only because when i check the box "Resolving Request" i realized that the technican will be able to modify most choices in the ticket so please advice and thanks in advance
Export to anything but pdf
When I try to export the list of non-registered users, some of the email addresses are getting cut off. It does not happen when i export to pdf, but i need it to export to csv. Thanks, Patrick

Checkpoint invalid firewalls.
Hi, I've just started using firewall analyzer but have an issue whereby it's picking up ip addresses as firewalls when they aren't. When i log in now it tells me i have 5 licenses but 39 edvices. In reality i have 5 checkpoint firewalls running NGX R65 with an LEA connection setup to autoforward on the logs and have configured any entries which were log to be account now. Am i missing something obvious. The pop up when i log in is a pain but more frustrating is that the non licenses firewalls appear
Phone number field validation
Really nice! I wish to validate the phone number but some people have an extension. So I tried format xxx-xxx-xxx Ext xxxx but it sees the x in "Ext" as a number field. Any thoughts?

SDP - Keep X Automated backups
I would like the ability to configure the automatic backup feature to only keep X number of backups. This would be independant of the schedule. My case: I run backups weekly. I really only want to keep 2 or 3 around. Currently, I have to go periodically and prune backups I no longer need. I would like SDP to do the cleanup for me and have an option to keep a certain number of backups around.

Evaluation of DeviceExpert is rocky so far
So far in our evaluation we are seeing lots of problems with the backup scripts not grabbing the correct files from various devices including F5 BigIP and Checkpoint Firewalls. On the F5, you are looking for a file that does not exist and on the Checkpoint you are backing up a single file that is not complete enough to restore a failed firewall. Is there a way to directly access the config scripts to fix them?

Customizing look of alert emails
Is there a way to change the look of the alert email generated by the monitoring software. If possible I would like to have two separate styles. The current one generates a title, message, and alarm details with a link to the login page for OpManager. What I would like is to be able to send the default email to the IT Staff, but also customize a second style of email for the others that would be notified of any network errors such as office heads and supervisors. Network problem on DC Server
Hello! I have this kind of strange problem on the pc/server I am running Desktop Central on. Every night/evening i shut down the network. And yes it is the DC that is the problem because if i stop the service and kill the DC process it runs fine. So what i have to do now is to restart every morning and its is not so good because i run some other programs on it that i want to have running all the time... The computer is a regular pc with W7 Prof on Anybody has a idea on what to do???

Patch Scan does not reflect applied patches accurately??
Machines to which patches are applied are rescanned and still showing that the patches need to be applied? Any clues why this would be happenning? I thought it might be because the patches were irrelevant (ex. Office 2010 when we only run 2007) but it was happening with windows updates as well. Anyone else experiencing this problem? Conditional Access to Set Certain Priority Levels
We would like to see a feature where we can define a priority level and specify that the priority level can only be set by say users with the SiteAdmin role. There are cases where we do want to be able to assign a request a longer than usual SLA but we want to restrict who has the ability to apply this SLA so it is not abused.

Dear Support, our AD has a very big OU structure. If i want to select the OU for a helpdesk technician it is not possible to select a OU with all his sub OUs. "Unable to fetch technician details" after server migration
Dear all, after a server migration everything looks fine and working on the first view. But there is one issue - when I want to edit a technician I got the error message " Unable to fetch technician details". On the old system from which the database backup was taken everything is fine and working. We are using Build 7602 at the moment. Any ideas how to resolve this issue? Thanks, Heiko

Data Clean up and Archive functionality
I have been trying to clean up our groups and categories and as you know I have to get rid of all uses of a category or group before the system will let me get rid of a group or category. <complaint> groups do not have the 'mark for no further use' functional deletion that categories have </complaint> It was suggested to me that perhaps by archiving all old tickets prior to the categorization and group refactoring would allow me to delete the unused groups and categories. Will this work?
