Issue with emails to multiple groups
I have several groups on Servicedesk which are included on a new email request by a user. However, everytime when a certain group is included the incudent never gets created for that group. For example I have groups, A, B and C. New request emailed to group A - gets created OK. New request emailed to groups B and C (both included as recipitent on the email) - request gets created twice, one in each group OK. New request emailed to groups A, B and C (all included as recipitent on the email)
View Requests by Requester
When selecting "View Requests by Requesters," the only thing you can do from the window that pops up is preview tickets from that user. Can we please have some way of opening the full ticket from this window? Thanks

Problem with asset page
Hi We have a problem that when we try to open the asset page it just loads, nothing happens even if you wait a very long time. We can still access the assets by searching for a asset but the InventoryHome.do we cant access. This problem as been escalating, when we started to get it was not very often and some technicians could open it and some could not. Now no one can open InventoryHome.do page. We are running v8110 on win2k8r2 with sql 2008 Any ides on what can be wrong? Best regards Peter Samuelsson
Replaceable tags in e-mail alerts on Admin Server
In have a cluster of 4 managed servers for the actual monitoring, and one Admin Server. On the Admin Server i have build groups and sub groups. When making an e-mail alert on the Admin Server i do not have the ability to use replaceable tags in the message text. This possibility is (as far as i can see) only available on the managed servers. But that is not what i want. The admin server is the place for consolidating, reporting en messaging in my opinion. Does anyone of you know if it should be possible,
Only Receiving Status 'Clear' Emails
Hi team, OpManager Build No: 9011 I have the same Notification Profile configured from my initial setup of OpManager. Lately, I have only started receiving status 'Clear' emails but are not being notified when an IP interface goes down. LINK is a shot of the Notification Profile configured. (I do not which to be alerted on anything except when a particular Interface goes down and comes back up). However, on some occasions, I do monitor service / process levels and would like to be notified the same
Notification Rules - Assigned by Request Mode
Hi, Is there any way that you can create a new notification rule, which will depend on the request mode? We currently have a a number of SLA's which are different if a phone call is logged to a email logged, which require a different notification to be sent automatically when the request is logged. I have a workstation report in proprietary XML format that I wish to somehow import into SDP. Using XSLT I am transforming the proprietary XML into what I think the XML format of SDP's stand alone workstation audit is. The XSD I am using is generated from an XML Editor, using a sample stand alone workstation audit I generated via ae_scan.vbs. Group reports from multiple domains
I have one parent domain with a child domain (both of which are configured in ADMP). Some users in the child domain are members of security groups that reside in the parent domain. When I run a report of that group's members, it only includes members of the parent domain. How can I run a report to include both domain members? Thank you! David

I see netflow analyzer system began to accept ipv6 netflow data in 2011. The ipv6 netflow data is saved the data in the mysql database but it can't be presented from the website. Has any one tried some mysql database programming to present ipv6 netflow data alone? Thanks!
Changing interface bandwidth to a lower value than real bandwidth will cause tx or rx showing zero
Our customer has a 20M MPLS lease line, he complains that when he change interface bandwidth to 5M , the traffic graph stop graphing. I created a test environment to simulate his problem , and I found when the IN traffic was over the interface bandwidth we set, it shows IN traffic is zero. see the attachments graph1.jpg. In graph1.jpg ... tx/rx interface bandwidth are both set to 100bps.( for testing) I generated traffic using snmpbulkwalk to generate an unbalanced traffic pattern.
App manager crashes and restarts on server when trying to access SMS server settings under admin
Previously app manager was co-hosted with op manager and I assumed the issue was that that op manager already had exclusive access to the SMS modem. Now that I have migrated app manager to its own host with its own modem, the same behaviour is exhibited. What logs would be helpful to diagnose this issue? The modem model being used by each product is the same and I was able to select a com port when first installed but the crash happens every time I try and get back into settings from then on. http://www.postcarbon.org

trial period for netflow analyzer is just 1 hour?
I installed the netflow analyzer 9.7 today for evaluation. From the dashboard, all the information about the netflow from one of my test router has been fine for 1 hour, then all the interface speed became 0. I thought the trial period for netflow analyzer is 30 days. It worked for just 1 hour.

Stops Monitoring some devices
Hi, I am still in 8812 version and would like to understand if the below problems was notified before and if there is any enhancement in 9200. From time to time some devices (all kind of devices: Routers, Switches, Servers, UPS, etc.) are not monitored anymore. how to add local user accunt to PMP
When importing all of my member servers into PMP as a resource, I"m trying to add the local Admin account for these resources. I've tried using under the username field: .\username, or local_machine_name\username. Neither of them will work. What is required to add local user accounts in PMP? thanks robert..
Local administrator on domain servers
I first add a resource type “windows domain” and then add administrator user account to this domain. I import all domain servers using “Import from domain” and Schedule a daily import. Consider Notes Addition as First Response - Option not presented
Just upgraded from 8107 to 8114 and encountered the new feature ( not sure which release provided it ) that a prompt for "Consider Notes Addition as First Response" is available when adding a note against a request when the request is open. So If have request open and from ACTIONS option choose ADD NOTES and there are no responses against the request the prompt is shown at the bottom of teh add notes page. However if that same request is viewed from the Request list - My Open or Unassigned for

I need to create a various categories and subcategories. I'd like to make the subcategories 3 layers deep. Example: Webconferencing (Main Cat.), Information (What the user is requesting), Administration (What need is about), and Set Permissions (What the agent is responding with). Is this possible? I only see 1 layer deep... Assistance is appreciated.
Not getting Event Logs
I thought I had followed your instructions for getting Event Logs from my W2k8 servers, but there are none. I used the Quick Configuration Wizard to associate my servers with the event log rules. I've forced errors into a few servers, waited for the post to cycle & there are still no event logs in OpManager. Is there some special smoke & mirror technique for getting these from W2k8 servers? Do I need to do anything to the event Log Rules, or can I use them as they are? What type of Windows account
Unable to fetch Requests from ServiceDeskPlus through OpManager

OPManager: Restore of config files
Hi, We are running OPmanager 9, build 9200. On a test probe, i have played a bit around backup/restore to a new probe. For the database this works fine. Using mysql. The question is regarding the configuration of the probe. Under the bin/backup folder i find a BackupConfFiles.bat file, but no RestoreConfFiles.bat. How am i suppose to restore the zip file generated by the BackupConfFiles.bat? Regards, Svein

HardDrive Health Monitor
Hi, Does OpManager8 monitor the health of the hardware s? There are 12 RIAD Hard Drives which I want them to be monitored by the OpManager and any time that One of them got problem or for example burnt it alerts me about that hard drive, I dont want to be alert just the time that the system is up or down.
