Hi All, I am new in this community, we are planning to bring Netflow on board so please help me for the below listed quereis We have almost more than 65 - 75 remote locations, and we are expecting to receive traffic 350 - 400 interfaces with Addon on IPSLA, NBAR & CBQOR Shall we deploy the Netflow as standalone or we can deploy with Opmanager ? Will it be better to deploy on Windows Server or Linux Server ? If we use Windows server which database is recommended MYSQL OR MSSQL ? How we can calculate

Need to change OID for a check
Currently we have a check for a Cisco ASA 5500 Series for Firewall CPU Utilization. Currently the SNMP OID is : .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.109.1.1.1.1.5.1 by default The check it is coming back with is; "Firewall CPU Utilization is 4294962%, threshold value for this monitor is 60%" We have identified that the correct OID for this is actually 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.109.1.1.1.1.8 What is the best way to change the OID for the check on this device?

I have enabled SSO and AD Auth in SD+ and cannot login via AD or local. I followed a post to reset administrator password but still can't login.

Anyone know how to get this counter and other like it to report up to 3 decimals? Avg. Disk sec/Read.7 D: WMI Avg. Disk sec/Read is the average time, in seconds, of a read of data from the disk. I am getting an integer (0) for everything, testing successful. Perfmon reveals it averages 0.003 Thanks in advance.

Hi, Is there a way of editing the solutions page to look more user friendly, like the "service catalog" page. Is there a way of putting all the solutions in to categories. Like having all the topics listed across the top so the user can see easier where things are, rather than having everything listed in date order. many thanks

The IP groups data doesn't add up to the total traffic
Hi, I have configured Netflow on routers across my network WAN. I have configured some IP groups on the Netflow server. The issue is that when I add the traffic from Individual IP groups it comes more than the total traffic passed on that interface. This negative data is around 35% of total traffic. I have made sure that all the IPs in these IP groups are different and are not repeated. Also these are only destination IPs and no Source-Destination IP pair is there. Can you suggest what might be
Can we see only our requests?
Dear, I'm trying to create all requests for a specific group (service desk), but other groups can see all requests (for example, group DBA). How Can I do this? I've put a rule and the request is being grouped correctly, but everyone can see it. Thank you! Regards, Felipe

My SDP has stopped responding

Dependent Device
Hi. I'm trying to monitoring a complete application. This application have four sub-groups and each sub-group have different monitors. The application availability depend to a Data Base, then if the Data Base is down all application is down. I try to configure the data base like a dependent device but the DB isn't in a group. Do this configuration appropriate? I have my DB down but my application is up. I didn't include DB in the sub-group because this affect my availability report. This is the configuration,
Netflow/DeviceExpert Same server
I saw a post with someone asking this same question they said they got it to work but never gave any info as to how. So is there anyway i can run both Netflow and DeviceExpert on the same server? Configuring MIB for application
Hi All, I would like to receive SNMP traps from an external application. I have copied the MIB files to the /mibs folder. In Opmanager, under Admin > SNMP Trap Processor > Action > Load From Mibs. I have loaded the MIBs. What do i need to do next? Do I need to associate the MIBs to the server? Thanks.
Highlighting incidents that are approaching violation
Hi Everyone, The Help Desk dashboard there is a graph that shows you the number of incidents approaching violation. Is there any way to place a visual representation against each ticket in the queue that meet the approaching violation criteria? E.G having the incident text red in the queue view for all that are about to breach in the next 60 minutes. Whilst the dashboard it great most of my technicians do not look at it and spend all of their time in a request or the request queues. Thanks

Own email account for each business unit!!
Hi, I tried email settings for 3 business units and faced an issue that I can only set one account for entire business units. This means I can only fetch emails from one email addresseven though each business unit has its own email address. Email aliasing could not help this one since my exchange server was using Global Address List. This caused me to create 3 accounts (Let's say test1, test2 and test3), then forward all mails in test2, test3 to test1. This solved my problem for now. However,

Can't add Column Resource Tag to Asset view
On the asset overview page I can't add the column "Resource Tag" which would be quite helpful. *edit: Just saw there is already a feature request for this: SDF-27448 Resource Tag option is required in column chooser of all asset list views. I would still class it as a bug because it makes the product almost unusable when working with Asset Tags.

Sharing solution knowledgebase between business units
Hi, I would like to know if it is possible to share the solution knowledgebase between business units. Is there an option to do this or do I need to run a commnd? Import SSL Cert from Comodo - .pfx
I've been trying to get a cert working for ssl on our manage engine client for a couple of days now. We have a pre-existing cert with comodo so we decided to use that. Unfortunately the cert we were given was a .pfx which doesn't seem to be compatible with your keystone tools, we manage to export a x.509 .crt file on a server using mmc and the certificate manager. However when i use the recommended comodo lines from the SSl page in self service i'm able to create the keystone however when i edit
PMP syncing with AD
I have setup syncing between PMP and AD, however every time it syncs it updates the description field in PMP with "Resource imported from domain: ___" Is there a way to enable syncing without it overriding the description?

Some service requests involve the creation and sending of passwords to the applicant from ServiceDesk Plus. I need these passwords are hidden for all technical support group except for the technician assigned. You can have a field for this purpose?
OpManager broadcasts causing FW alerts
I have OpManager with the NFA plugin (Build 7400 {SP-7.0+SP-1.0+SP-2.0+SP-4.0}. I have noticed in my FW logs a lot of warnings and I've traced them down, done a packet capture and found that OpManager is blasting broadcast messages at an alarming rate (in the below example, in less than one minute, 112 were generated and of those only 4 were not from OpManager) 1: 13:39:26.091044 10.1.0.43.137 > 10.1.0.255.137: udp 50 Drop-reason: (sp-security-failed) Slowpath security checks failed 2: 13:39:26.840822
ADManager Plus - Adding colums to 'Delete Users' Window
Hello Currently when deleting a user, in the user selection screen we have the default columns which are as follows Full Name First Name Logon Name Account Status Last Logon Time Distinguished Name We require that additional columns are added to this view such as Office Name. Web Alarm doesn't work for CCTV view
We have OpManager CCTV view running on a big widescreen TV in the middle of our office, would be great if we can have the web alarm sound from the tv. I've noticed the Web Alarm displays in the top menu, however in CCTV view the top menu is not displayed so there is no Web Alarm. Is there a work around?
Problem List
For some reason it didn't post my last topic so might be a risk of double posting! This is my first time with OpsManager and here's a list of problems I'm experiencing with the product. If anyone has a resolution or if it can be added in a future release that'd be great: 1. can't assign a URL monitor to mutliple devices 2. quick configuration wizard isn't quick 3. templates limited to only performance monitors 4. unable to assign multiple services to multiple servers 5. constantly required to login

Approval
Afternoon, We are trying to setup a Service Catalog request that requires approval before assigning. I have it setup to the point that it requests approval and once the approver does approve it the request just stays in unassigned status. Now I have tried doing this with both defining the Technician during creating the request as well as defining a Group when creating the request. Neither option makes a difference. Also under the work flow tab I have checked "Send Approval notification automatically
