NEWBIE ALERT: I want to track application passwords - but the focus on "dns resolvable resources" seems to be driving me towards machine based accounts. There is no way for me to get access to this (Unix team won't let me see the root passwrods and service account passwords for the basic boxes). I just need to store DEV TEST & PROD application specific passwords in Password Pro

 

I need to understand the basics here - can you help please?
