Problem with the way IE v11 shows up in Software Inventory
We're running Desktop Central 8 release 80296 (I think it's the latest available). I've used the templates to create a package for deploying IE v11 for Win 7 x64 (noticed that it was recommended we remove the command-line option that doesn't look for updates). After 60 Probes Central Server starts slowing down for each additional probe.
I have 66 probes at my 66 centers, if I stop 6 of them, then Central Server can load the Home page (or any page) in about 1-2 seconds, each additional running probe over 60 adds 1-2 seconds. I am going to setup our 67th data center probe next week and my load time for the Central Server home page (or any page) is 12 seconds. I need help getting this fixed. I've started to deploy the agent to computers because of some issues i'm having with agentless scanning. the problem I'm having is that if an asset (windows computer) with agent installed gets deleted it doesn't come back automatically. If a do a manual AD scan it still doesn't come back. Any way to fix that? Thanks

What is scanned ona Windows domain scan, and can it be configured?
I have scanning set up daily and sometimes I get something like 5-6000 hardware changes reported for a 7 day period, for perhaps 60 machines that do not get a lot of hardware changed on them. How can I filter out or configure to ignore some or all changes that SDP says it sees in each scan?

MS SQL Databases not showing up
I upgraded to 8040 earlier this week. I'm attempting to add MS SQL monitors to some of our database servers. When I do, none of the databases are listed. I have another database server that was already being monitored pre-8040, and it still recognizes newly added databases fine. Is this a 8040 issue or something else?

Support Center Restore Error
We are running supportcenter on 7.9.0 build 7921 on Windows XP in an VM environment. The performance is less then ideal, very slow and several crashes a week, so to try and fix this problem we want to migrate it to a Windows 7 64 bit VM. So we have created a new Windows 7 64bit VM and installed the same version and build 7.9.0 build 7921, with a Mysql database. when running the restore on the new server i get the following error. Windows popup: Windows cannot find '..\mysql\bin\mysqld-nt'.
Modify SLA based upon Urgency?
I have setup my SLAs for both Incidents and Service Catalogs, no problem. However, now I want to incorporate Urgency. Can I expedite the response time in my SLA based on Urgency? For example, a request might be due in a week but if you say the Urgency is URGENT, then it should be done within two hours instead and I want to activate SLAs and escalation accordingly. I've installed the demo and when I started things for the first time I got a notification saying port 514 is down. It's not in use on the machine I've installed the FWA on--new build Server 2003 SP2. I don't have any other syslog servers on this machine either. I've sent syslog data to another machine on 514 just fine before so I know the port is open in our PIX. I'd like to be able to use port 514 for a device that doesn't allow me to specify the port. I've setup my PIX and 3005 to log to 1514 and

Hi, When I try to delete a Support Group a message appear saying 'Groups Cannot Be Deleted'. The group has no SLAs, no Business Rules, no Departments and only one user defined. DHCP SNMP Monitor Returns 0 Value
So I have set up a new SNMP Monitor for DHCP Free IPs. When I use the MIB application to query the server, it returns the correct values, but when I try to do the query from the device in OpManager, the value always comes back as 0. Ideas?

I've got a service provider - internet. They have an account in my SD, but they don't what to talk with requester in SD. It'll be good to answer there're questions over email. But if they answer an email that comes from SD, there's mail goes to SD and LOCKS (email added to conversation with LOCK) and no notification is send to a requester. Resource group based on matching criteria not "working"
Hello currently I am evaluating PMP. I have a resource group based on matching criteria. When editing the group and clicking "search" there are several resources listed - so the filter/criteria seem to work. When editing one of the users listed there I can see that the user is not automatically added to this group - I have to add this user manually to this group. Even whe creating a new user that matches the criteria this user is not automatically added to this group. What am I doing wrong?
