Creating Reports
How can i convert my reports to other format (e.g. excel) so i can have it presented in different graph type. When you do Custom Reports it only shows you the graphs, it does not show the details.. Please suggest some techniques or procedures how to get detailed reports on the monitored devices. Hope you can help us on this. Thanks..
OpManager MSP: Issue with Inventory

HOTFIX 7025
I am trying to apply hotfix 7025 and it's stuck at 98% complete. I just called into support and was told the one person who does support has gone home!!! WTF?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Support for OpManager really sucks. thanks for taking our money.
upgrade to 7 from 6 failed
I upgraded to version 7 and logged in, all the data was there, i then applied the latest hotfix (7025) and restarted. I now get this message Oops looks like a few tables got corrupted. Don't worry.. Run RepairDB.bat from bin directory and restart the server I have done this as asked but it doesnt matter. I still cannot log in
Linux server monitoring?
Hi, Using OpManager, is it possible to monitor linux boxes? I'm very impressed with the presentation and features of OpManager for our windows boxes, but in order to compete with our current solution (zabbix) it needs to be able to monitor linux boxes to (monitor services, memory usage, performance etc). Can this be done ? Olly
UPS monitoring
I have a MGE Galaxy 3000 UPS. There is no device template in OpManager so I loaded the MIB and made on myself. How do I get the UPS load and status to show up in the pictures on the top half like they do with an APC UPS?
OpManager 7 startup problems
Windows XP Pro sp2 / OpManager 7 (d/l 16feb08 installed as free version) Hi, I would have posted here, but the thread seems to be abandoned. The "ManageEngine OpManager" and "ManageEngineOpManagerApache" services appear to start ok, see screenshot 1 and screenshot 2, but the "ManageEngine OpManager" service stops after screenshot 2. I have tried several possible solutions suggested in the forums without success. Any advice or suggestions please? Thanks, Mark.
Switch Port Mapper
I am using OpUtils Build 4409. I have several switches mapped that return information on only a fraction of the ports. For example I have a Cisco 2950G that shows I have 2 ports used and the rest are listed as open or transient. I know for a fact that this is incorrect. There are at least 2 dozen devices connected to that switch.

CLI - CPU Utilization question
Please see the below picture, basically my dial for cpu utilization is showing -1%. What can I put in my host-resource.xml or opmanager_snapshot_dial.xml to correct the issue? Loss of views and Alarms graph
All business and infrastructure views are missing and cannot create new views. The alarms graph is also missing from the Home tab. This is version 7025 and repairdb runs without errors.
Problem adding network interfaces
Hi, I've installed Opmanager 7 BN 7025. My servers have 3 network interfaces (external,internal,backup). When i discover the interfaces , opmanager shows 3 interfaces, but when i add all the interfaces, only two are added successfully (external and backup). How can I solve this problem? thanks.

MSSQL 'Login Failed' error on install
I'm trying to install OpManager 7, but when I try to setup an MSSQL connection all I get is a 'Login Failed' error. I'm using the sa account and have even setup a test SQL install on a different server with the same results. Any ideas?

I am monitoring Dell Servers Temperature from OPManager , but it is showing values like 230 02 220 instead of 23 0r 22 degree centigrade. How can we change the Tenths of Degree Centigrade units values in such a way as to show only exact temperature.
HP Proliant DL320 mirror monitoring

Monitors that show CHANGES in values?
Hello! Is there any way to create a monitor that shows the CHANGE in value from the last time a device was polled? For example - CRC errors on an interface. I don't care how many TOTAL errors there are, I want to know how many ADDITIONAL errors there are since the last time this interface was polled. If an interface has encountered more than, say, five errors on any one poll, I'd like to be alerted. Thanks! - Matt
Event Log Rules
After adding Event Log rules to all of our servers I would like to change some settings as we are being bombarded with notifications. Is there a way to reset or turn of the Monitor event log rules for more than one device at a time? I cannot seem to find a way to accomplish this task. Thanks, Joe
Cisco 7206 virtual interfaces monitoring
We have some trouble with monitoring virtual interfaces on Cisco 7206. We are using Cisco 7000 series device type. Physical interfaces monitored properly. For virtual interfaces utilization, errors and discards parameters are not available. Other monitoring system (MRTG) shows this values. Can you advise me something ?

OpMangr SQL Installation Problem
Hi Folks, I'm having a problem getting OpMgr installed on a server which currently runs an instance of MS SQL 2005 Express for a different application (I'd rather have one MSSQL instance instead of one MSSQL and another MySQL both on the same server). I'm getting the error "Unable to connect to SQLServer. Proceed the installation with MySql as database". I've verified that MSSQL is set up for TCP/IP connectivity and is listening on localhost:1433, I've also verified the logon credentials are correct

OpManager MSP Alarm generation
Hi there, we have been running OpManager MSP for a while now, we have full alerting of event logs and disk , CPU threshold being sent by email. We have noticed however that the alarms in Opmanager are getting generated from 3 days ago. why is the Alarm generation not up to date. It is not a mail server problem as by checking the Opmanager database it shows the latest alarms are from 3 days ago.
CPU and other Gauge Monitors
Which monitors are used to generate the CPU dial graphs? I want to monitor a wireless access point and it doesn't include the Mibs used for the monitors" CPU utilization". It does use the predefined CPU util. for switches and firewall. I confirm that by testing the monitor. But the dial doesn't seem to use those.
QUESTION ABOUT CUTOMER
Hello My friends. I am using MSP6004 of the OPManger. In the begging(before network discovery), I had created three customer accounts. Although, I register all the probes under one customer and I have discovered the network under the same customer. Now I want to move some servers under the other two customers and keep the rest. I searched for a way to do this but I couldn't. Please If you know how,let me know in details how I can do it. Also, Is there any feature in this version to create a user
7025 Availability Report Trouble
Installed HF 7025 earlier today and tried to run device availability reports for devices in business views and can only get reports that include no more than 11 devices. I don't know if this is related to some of the problems I've reported with my DB and am wondering if any one else is having similar problems?
Issue with MSExchange Monitor
I am presently having an issue with MSExchange Monitor where it will not populate under Application Monitors or wherever it is to be populated in v7xxx. The steps below are what were taken. 1. On v6016 we migrated from MySQL to MSSQL -- issues resolved with support 2. Upgraded from v6016 to v7 and then applied hotfix 7025 -- lost all data in that update. 3. Decided to roll-back to v6016 and use MSSQL backup taken prior to version upgrades -- db corrupt and repairdb did not work 4. Decided best course
sql opmanagerdb size question
I'm concerned about the size of my opmanager database. I'm only watching 20 switches and around 20 servers. It is almost 3gb in size and growing. Is this normal? Is there a sql maintenance plan that I could configure?
opmanager via blackberry
I noticed that servicedesk is able to be accessible and viewable via a blackberry browser, however for opmanager, I just get a blank screen - any advice/workarounds? thanks naynesh
MSP: problem creating new user with full control user rights
I use OpManager MSP edition. When i create a new user with full control user permissions for only one or two customer views, this user does not get admin rights, only view rights. When creating a user with full control permissions on all devices, this user does get admin rights. Does anyone know how i can give admin rights to a user for only one customer view? Thanks!

Mail Server settings error
I'm trying to configure the Mail Server settings. When I try to use any of the smtp server settings for gmail, yahoo, etc. I get the error "530 5.7.0 Must issue a STARTTLS command first 35sm249328wra.21" in response to the "Test Mail" test. Any ideas?

AS400 Graph
There is no graph generated when monitoring AS400. Both SNMP and CLI passed the testing. When I test for CPU utilization it also passed. What seem to be the problem. It cannot generate the necessary graph and data. Please help. thank you..
