problem with mail server setting and availability statistic

I m a big problem
I don't use mail server setting because when i send a test message An error appears
Impossible to connect it to the mail server Verify that the service of messaging is active on the specified port and i use the port Smtp 25
and i an other problem with the availability statistic
OpManager does not post(show) any more the Availability for today
Please I need help
