Adding maps to Business view
I am trying to add a map to business view so it can be selected. I saved a map of my city from mapquest as a jpg and placed it into the images/maps folder but cannot see it to select it. I have placed it in other location and tried browsing there when selecting "change background image" on the maps page but the file isn't being seen. I also stopped and restarted the service. Why won't the regular client, not the web client, see the map so I can select it? thanks;
Notification Profile
Dear support, We are having problems adding a new notification profile. When we first added a new "run program" notification profile, we did not provide the correct string for the location of the vbscript, we forgot one subdir in the string. Since then we are not able add new notification profiles. Also the one we added in the wrong way won't go away with the delete button, although it displays the message "notification profile added/removed succesfully" but no new notifications appear on the list.
Cannot show interface

Cisco 1700 routers not showing CPU utilization Clock
Hi While managing a couple of Cisco Routers, I noticed that my 2801 routers showed their CPU and memory utilization while checking them using the Web Client. When I tried to monitor a couple of 1700 series router, I can see the clocks in the MapMaker, but they do not show up in the Web Client. What is the problem with this???

I've successfully created some SNMP monitors for an XP machine and can view plenty of details including its disc, CPU and memory utilization etc. However for Linux machines it doesn't seem to be as straightforward. For example I downloaded & ran the AdventNet LinuxAgent (on RedHat Fedora 4) however OpManager wouldn't recognise the machine as being SNMP enabled - no blue star in map view. So having stopped the agent I tried starting up the system's own snmpd. Via the web client OpManager sees
the meter sometimes disappeared
dear, hi, i am using opmanager 5604. I'm using snmp for getting information of CPU, disk utilization, and memmory utilization. Sometimes, the graph of meter (meter picture) is disappeared, and sometimes it is show normally. When I try to browse the MIB of the server, there's no problem at all. Please help me, because the history graph of my server is being not accurate. Thank you.

Device not visible - but registered in the database
I am trying to discover a new device (switch) which is not visbile in any of the views or inventories. The 'discover new device wizard' complains that it is already in the database ... how do I delete these records (if they exist) ... or how do I add this switch?
Netgear Switch
We have netgear gsm7224 switch. It does not show the interface port speeds correctly. What needs to be done. It has been rediscovered and re acquired multiple times. SNMP is working The port lights are green if occupied but the speed is not present and traffic is not seen.
MibBrowser load error
Can you please look at this MIB and tell me why I get a cannot load error, I have had the vendor send them to me 2 times and both times they will not load. Also is there a way I can fix mibs that error out like this?

Feature Request: Time Out on Errors.
It would be great if in Event Log Rules we could add another option to the levels. For example, right now I am setting a lot of mundane event log messages to be ignored, but there are some rather mundane ones that don't matter unless they happen in quantity. Lets say something like, "Virus found and Quarantined." I don't really care about that. But if it begins happening every thirty seconds or so, I want to know - obviously I have an outbreak. Asset details--data not available.
When I try to run an inventory report, some servers show their RAM and Disk, and others do not. I have double checked to make sure everything is fine password and string wise. Any idea why on the majority of servers I am seeing data not available, instead of the RAM and Disk amounts? Cheers

OPManager 5.6 support Window 2000 SNMP ?
I am testing the OPManager 5.6 and noticed 'some' window 2000 server with SNMP enabled do not recognised by version 5.6, but recognised by 5.5 without any problem. Did anybody come across similar situation ? Rgds/KL

Dashboard and Graphs problem with WMI
Our Dashboard fails to get updated for CPU,Mem and HArd disk utilization for win 2003 server which is hardened by security template.When we remove the security template the dashboard gets updated .Even the graphs of server are not displayed in hardened environment.We are using WMI interface
Switch Mapping
We have a Netgear gsm7224 switch. Op manager sees it after a long wait. When we run switch mapper it says Bridge-mib not enabled but it is enabled. A switch map appears but it is not always accurate. We have Netgear mib file but don't understand what do do with it.
Feature Request: Detailed Drives View.
Currently WMI monitoring is great, but what if I want a quick view of how much each drive on the server is doing? Its good to know its 70% overall - but that doesn't help me if drive E is 90% and drive C 20%. What about creating little pies for each drive - so if I have four drives I'd have four little pies instead of the one big one. David.
Business views and Link status
Hi, We are currently test the OP manager App, and have found it very good. 2 Questions i do have are: 1:After creating a Business View, can we then view this as a web page, so it can be displayed on a large LCD TV. After Linking two devices, example- switches: Can we create a multi link? Is it possible to incorperate the bandwidth utliz on this link and when the utilz goes high the color of the link changes? If it is not possible to do either of these, may i suggest it for the roadmap. Thanks

Traffic values on interfaces are not the real values
Hello all, I`m having problems while I monitor cisco routers/switches interfaces, the value that i collect and graph, is not the real value that the interface shows me on the device or with a traffic monitor. Has any one had this issue before ?? Thank you very much, cheers JP
Traffic Monitors working, but interfaces show N/A
On the snapshot page of one my servers, for example, I have 6 traffic monitors listed via SNMP. They are RX/TX errors, traffic, and utilization. I can click on any of them and see data and when I click on the test monitor button I get a green light. At the bottom of the server snapshot page is an "interfaces" category but under the headings for RX/TX utilization, traffic, and errors they all say N/A. Why is this? Another of my servers has the same Intel MT GB NIC and it has values under the RX/TX
Window 2000 SNMP do not get recognised by version 5.6
Testing the version 5.6 at the moment and noticed it does not recognise Window 2000 server with SNMP. Version 5.5 recognised the same Window 2000 without any problem. When using MIB Browser under 5.6 to GET information from the Window 2000 server, it returned no such parameters, etc, etc. Are there something we need to configure in order to support W2K server, this problem does not seem to happen to W2K3 server. Editing Business Views
Greetings, We are evaluating your OpManager platform. I downloaded and installed build 5604 yesterday and have been playing with it. While trying to build different Business Views, I have noticed the the java client does not act in a consistent manner. I can create a view and place shortcuts and connections on the view but when I go back to change the Display Label, it will not keep the change. I have also had problems where I create a new view then have the hardest time selecting it to place icons
feature request: NRPE
We just recently bought OpManager and I am setting up monitoring now. One thing I'm really missing coming from Nagios is NRPE, which is an open protocol that is used by several open source monitoring systems. I'd really love to be able to use NRPE to have servers report back things where SNMP is not as appropriate. NRPE in OpManager should work with or without SSL, optionally. Not only does NRPE report back "OK", "CRIT", or "WARN" but it also can give back metrics for graphing purposes. Implementing
Better Quick View Monitoring.
The monitoring on Maps-->Details is very nice, but it is not customisable and does not include enough monitors. It would be nice to be able to click Details to see a one-shot, quick-glance view of all the servers health. But we need to be able to determine additional monitors in this area - e.g., CPU, Memory, HD usage. What does everybody else think? David.
Logs/Alerts for configuration changes
Hello, Is there a way to have logs/alerts about configuration modification in OpManager currently ?? Some features that I would like: 1/ it will be great to have the possibility to sort Business Views Infrastructure (left box), to have display sorted in web client. 2/ Also, I think it will be interesting to add choice to create "Device dependencies" with several devices (utilization of redundancy). Alarms generating even though ports are unmanaged.
I have some Cisco devices that are generating alarms even though I have the ports as unmanaged and unnotified. The alarms are coming from a Multiflex Trunk card that I use for a PRI. We have IP Telephony and my routers are voice gateways as well. I turned off the management on the voice cards since the ports are up and down when they go off hook. I am also wondering when will extra Cisco MIBs be added. I currently use the following Cisco Equipment Cisco 3725 & 3745 Routers, 3560 POE switches, 1760
OpManager sometimes missed the data polls.
Could you tell me how to specify data poll timeout value and retry counts for SNMP ? OpManager can not get the data from some switches around once a 2 polls. I have sent the details information to support@opmanager.com.

Invalid meter in OpManager
Dear team, I have some problem in using Opmanager. I can display the meter for CPU and memory Utilization. But I can't display the meter of disk utilization.
