How to delete SMS cue ?
Hi, I've disconnected sms modem serial port for about 2 months just because a TEST PHASE...now i've reconnected it and i'm receiving all the old sms cue... how to remove the SMS cue ???

I use a small tool to test this, when i restart snmp service, i got 3 traps: linkUp(3) with variable 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.1.1 with value 1 linkUp(3) with variable 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.1.5 with value 5 linkDown(2) with variable 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.1.65543 with value 65543 I did not receive any coldStart or warmStart trap. My small tool can handle only SNMPv1 trap, does Windows send SNMPv2 coldStart trap ?

Hello, I am in the process of adding several Cisco Catalyst switches to our OpManager monitoring package. We are running build 8005. I am experiencing a very inconvenient issue that I want to make known and resolved. To start, I have added 18 Catalyst switches that we'll be monitoring. I have gone in on several of those switches and went to the "configure ports" section where I've unmanaged ports I don't need to monitor as well as removed "status poll" from some of the managed ports (not all). monitor real-time Traffic and Bandwidth
HI, I turned on the Router and Switch SNMP credentials and the test gives me the ok on all. When active, on Dashboards, graphs of the monitoring of Traffic and Bandwidth active work but if the collection in realtime for a moment I see the graphic and then the widget closes with an icon on the left undefined. So, do not seem to monitor traffic and bandwidth real devices. Then if you click on the particular device, even if enabled on the SNMP devices, I can not make the charts compqrire temperature.
Interface utilization
I would like to request that bandwidth utilization for interfaces shows the last polled utilization as it used to in previous versions. Im not sure when it changed (I have been using opmanager since version 6 and maybe even a little of version 5), but when bringing up the dashboard or when in list mode for routers, it used to show the last polled utilization. At some point during version 7.x I believe, it was changed to show averages for the day. That is totally useless as far as I am concerned.

I have added 2 serves in the assets section of ServiceDesk Plus In Opmanager I can link to one server but not the other. What is the connecting parameter. I was thinking that as long as the name is the same they should be related however this is not the case as the asset details (in SD+) and the name in Opmanager are the same but they cannot see each other. When I click on device info in Opmanager I get a message that device has not been added to SD+ or the SD+ service is not running (it is). Any

OpManager 8 and Ubuntu Hardy 64 bit. I try to start the apache service and get this: Please see file attached as your forums had a fit with the copy and paste from terminal. I know it needs a linky so that libaprutil etc etc is seen in the right place, but I do not know where to put said link. Service will not start, so there is nothing for the rest of OpManager to link onto when it tries to start.

Hello, I created the code to load the map from Google. I added the device on the map in Italy, but every time you reboot your computer and open Opmanager 8 and open the maps, google map, I open the map from America and not from Italy where there are my device. Do not store the previous view, but if I close and open the browser and shut down/start server keeps me a view on italy There is a system that keeps the view on my device even when you restart the whole computer/server? tnx and sorry my English
Disk Utilization
I'd like to monitor free disk space but as a percentage rather than an amount. I'd also like to set different thresholds on different disks ie. threshold on C: drive would be 10% but D: drive would be 20%. Is this possible.

Hi, annoying issue- I have bandwidth and traffic widgets on my dashboard, and whenever the page refreshes, all the graph data is lost and it starts over. Can you please make the "live" widgets retain data over page refreshes?
Many "Request Timed Out" Alarms
OpManager 8 (fresh install) Installed on Win2K3, MSSQL Hardware: Quad core, 4 GB RAM We are receiving a lot of SNMP time-outs for a handful of our servers. In some cases, they are servers that see little to no utilization. i.e. Dev/Test servers, etc. At the moment we are currently monitoring about 140 servers. In previous versions of Opmanager, the reports would also be saved on the local server running opmanager, in /home/reports. I am running OpManager 8 on linux, and I do not see the same thing. Is this correct or where are the reports saved?

I placed a call in to opmanger support last week and have yet to get any sort of resolution. When I go into the routers catagory none of the routers show up. i change the view, nothing.

Problem with WAN RTT Monitor

Feature Suggestion
Wondering if there is a way to make editing SNMP Trap Processors easier. When I added a bunch from a MIB file they all got added as Critical. I am now having to go into each one individually and change them to Attention. So it would be great to have a way to modify them in bulk. Also, when you are currently editing a trap processor after you successfully make changes to one it returns you back to the very first page of the trap processor listing.
