Problems with scheduled reports
Hello, I still got a problem with scheduled reports... I scheduled OPmanager to sent me the this report once a week, on monday: "Volumes with Least Free Space Identify disk partitions with least free space" and every monday, i receive this : "Volumes with Most Free Space Identify disk partitions with most free space" but with the wrong title... Can anyone please help ? I want to say that when i execute the report directly from opmanager (without scheduling), everything is alright. regards

Hey, I have some trouble with OPmanager, I have used a Nokia 6230i in OPmanager 7004 without any problems. I had some trouble with it and decided to upgrade to 7020. After the upgrade OPmanager crashes everytime I try to access the SMS modem settings under “Admin” My phone is connected to COM port 4 and if I change the configuration files ind the adventnet\conf folder to another COM port I can access the SMS modem settings in “Admin” without any problems. Monitoring Mounted Windows Volumes (Used for Exchange IS)
Hello, I did a few searches before posting the following Disk monitoring question. I am trialing OpsManager to monitor our Exchange 2003 environment. We have most of it configured, but I'm having trouble setting up monitoring for our Mounted volumes. To explain: We are monitoring 2 Exchange 2003 Instances within one 3node Win2003 cluster. Each instance has a Drive letter on a volume, and 3 Mounted volumes off the root. For example we have J:\SG1, J:\SG2 and J:\SG3. All the SG's are Fiber Channel
Problem adding monitor f�r disk space
Hi there, I have a server with five volumes for which I monitor the free disk space. Now a sixth volume has been added but I can't find a way how to add a monitor for it. When go to "Add Monitor" there is no chance to select the volumes. Regards, Volker

If I attempt to look at the device in the Search field, I receive the following error "Unable to fetch Managed Object details for the object :". This has happened multiple times with different devices. I have shutdiwn Opmanager and ran RepairDB.sh with no results. Is there a way to manually remove objects from the db, or something else that can be done to fux this major problem?

500 internal error
Hi , i have installed the free virsion of opmanager it worked good for some time but now while oppning the sebclient it is showing the error as follows. The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, admin@india.adventnet.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. More information about this error may be available in the server error

Support For Remote Management Tools
Hi Is there anything in the pipeline for adding support for remote tools? From a device I would like to be able to have a menu to "Remote Manage" using Web, Telnet, VNC, RDP etc... Many monitoring/management tools allow for this now and would be a great benefit to us. Regards Mike
Opmanager 7 build 7021 - Cisco Device Problems
Hi, We have a problem in that the interfaces on our 3845/3640 routers and pix515 firewalls are discovered but we dont get any statistics, additionally none of the gauges work other than the availability one. This worked fine on version 6 There are several other issues we have encountered Cisco 3560 switches get mis identified and added to the "routers" group. When using cidr discovery it oftens populates all 254 addresses even though only a few really exist I have checked things like correct community

Graph Network card and VPN traffic
Good Day, I have a Sonicwall 4100 and 3 4060's I currently graph network traffic on. I would also like to graph VPN traffic on these devices. I have the SNMP mibs and they can retrieve bits in/ out, etc. Is this something that can be done with say an Interface template? How would I go about creating one? Thanks!

Error Removing Interfaces
Hi, Any time i go to remove an interface from a Switch/router via the interface tab of the device , Opmanager reports tht it is unable to remove interfaces. This very anoying as some of or Switches would have over 300 ports ad we would only want to view 5-6 of them. Also, when i go to alter a setting under the Interface Templates, e.g : Discards on port, after i have made the change, saved it and saved it again to the list of Ethernet (6) interfaces, all of the ports that i was previously NOT monitoring,
OPManager Web Page problem
Hi, I don't know where to properly address this concern because the feedback mechanism of the website is not working well. I'm currently evaluating OPManager and comparing it versus SolarWinds-Orion so I need as much as info that I can get out of OPManager. But I ran into an annoyance with the /opmanager page of adventnet.com because it loads EXTREMELY slow. Unable to upgrade to 7 from 6
I'm trying to upgrade to OpManager 7 from 6 but after clicking the .exe installation package the application asks if I want to remove the installation, not upgrade it. How do I get around this problem?
Problem with 6005 Upgrade..
Hi There, We did the upgrade on the central server to version 6005 from 6004 and this seemed to go all good, the services started back up and we could access the central console and view the probes. After around 20 minutes (I am guessing the time it takes for the probes to update) I started noticing several had dropped off and were red. We logged into each one and all the services are running and the Icon is in the task bar indicating OpManager is running but no communication with the central server.

backup script, xcopy command not working
This sort of off-topic. I'm writing a script to backup OpManager every night. Is it possible....
When you view a device details, there are three main Circle detailing performance of Processor, Memory, and Disk Utilization. Is it possible to choose what goes in there. For example, for my Powerware UPS I could choose Load Percentage, or for a server I could choose Temperature instead of Processor? I think this would be a good idea if it is not possible as many devices I would like to check its 3 critical functions and they are rarely Processor, Memory or Disk Utilization. Thanks for an awsome

Opmgr MSP Model
I am evaluating the MSP software and I have the Central site and the a Probe PC configured and operational. I have discovered some networks and I can see some alarms pertaining to those devices in the Central site PC. I want to enable snmp traps from these devices to be reported as well. I have configured the devices to forward these traps to the ip address of the probe PC and I can use my sniffer to see those traps hitting the Probe PC. But when I go to the Central site PC I do not see any snmp

Problem in OP7 Adding Switch!
Hi,Op team I have installed OP7 in Windows 2003 Server,and used MS SQL as OP7's Database,when I add swithces I meet a serious problem. I added a cisco 2950-48G using 10 mins,I found that OP7 needs long time to add it's ports,then OP7 returns "add successfully".Meantime I check "task management",there only sqlsvr.exe using 45%-70% CPU and 201M memory. Domain Controllers not available using Quick Config Wizard
Hi, Currently trialling the product. Looks good so far. I'm trying to use the quick Config wizard to add monitoring of Backup Exec service to all of my domain controllers, but none of the systems in the "domain controllers" category are available to add. If I manually move a server into another category, it appears in the list. I have 17 domain controllers I want to make bulk changes for but can't without moving them. Any clues please? Cannot add SNMP resource monitor
Hello, I had originally setup free disk space resource monitors on all of our servers. they were working fine until yesterday. They were saccidentily removed using the quick configuration wizard. When I try to add them back on now I cannot. I get an error saying "Unable to configure Graph". It will then add the resource monitors for the A: drive and E: drive, but not the C: and D: drives which I want to monitor. I have restarted OpManager but that hasn't fixed the issue. Any help would be great.

ServiceDesk Plus integration
One of the advertised features of this product is its integration with ServiceDesk Plus, definitely a plus for me. However, it mentions one element being the ability to log a ticket, but I believe ServiceDesk Plus allows for tickets by e-mail, which means other programs could do the same.
