Software inventory metrics inconsistent
I'm running into a problem that is making license management difficult. The software details pages list one number of installations for managed installations, but a completely different number of actual installations. I've attached three examples below. The first is Snagit 13.0.1.6326, which reports 4 total installations, but only lists one computer. The second is Backup and Sync from Google 3.49.9760.2421, which reports 1 installation, but lists no computers. The third is a software group I created

Secure Gateway - Service Running and Ports opened - *But not listening
Hello, Our Secure Gateway server stopped working around 3 days ago and when verifying the service was not running and kept stopping. Hence, installed the latest build 90077 with the correct ports. After installing it, the service stays running but none of the ports are not Listening. (Used Netstat and Port Query) We have double checked firewall rules are in place for ports to be opened but for some reason the service/application doesn't want to listen to the configured ports. Update 10.0.516 OS Deployment Name Change Error
Since updating to version 10.0.516 on Monday the 27th we can no longer change the target computer name during deployment. We receive the error: Failed - The specified username is invalid. We have updated the deployment media and issue occurs with new test media images and previously functioning image templates both. Is anyone else seeing this behavior and have you located a solution? "Customize User Logon Page" link on the 'Logon Settings' has disappeared after upgrade to 5815
I am unable now to see the "Customize User Logon Page" link on the Admin page. We were running 5708, i upgraded to 5800 then 5815. At this point the Customize User Logon Page disappeared. Is it somewhere else, or did I miss something in the upgrade? How can I recover this, as i need to amend the User logon page.
Patching for closed network not finishing update from internet
Its been 4 days trying to sync the patch database from internet but it never complete downloading update information using the command "patchsync.bat -c updatedb", it always stuck some where in the process, I left it for two days but it never finishes. What could be the problem? Thanks

Downloading PPM last few releases
I've run into a major issue downloading the latest released update/ppm file in a timely manner. This has happened with the last few releases I have downloaded. I thought I isolated the problem to the servers it's coming from. I have tested this with Multiple ISP's/Sites within my area. The problem is consistent between them (ISP or machine downloading the PPM). Previously the PPM file download links on the DesktopCentral website all pointed to Desktopcentral.com with the exception of the latest patch/link

When I click "Send" I get error: (Something like "the value specified for the parameter "send" is invalid"). The same error appeared in 11.1 build 11110 when adding CAB members on change request. Hello We have been working for some days, trying to set up SAML2-authentication for our installation of SDP We are using version 11.1 As we understand it, we should use the transient-nameid format. But as the transient-format (according to the saml2-standard) are only valid for single login session (i.e. it will be different each time the user authenticates again, but will stay the same as long as the user is authenticated). We cannot change the NameID-value in our IDP, if we set the format to transient.

This is the scenario: You have a resource. Within this resource, you have 8 accounts (let's say it's google accounts, for example). The first account is for Richard and so, you share said account with the user Richard. Richard how somehow has access to all other accounts under the resource (even if you only shared with account and not the resource. Schedule Report with multiple E-Mail addresses not working
Good Day We want to send scheduled reports to multiple E-Mail addresses. This seemed to work fine in the past. However, when I type in two addresses with the format "email1@mail.com, email2@mail.com" I get the Error "Invalid value specified for the parameter "to"." It would be great if you could fix this with the next update. Or do I have to use another format? Currently we are on 11.1 Build 11110.

The report I'm running has always worked in versions prior to 11.1. To rule out faults, I have limited the filter to a minimum of one day. from March 30 to March 31. Reset Date Fields to Nul/Empty
I can see why some date fields should not be altered, but we have several user defined date fields we use for vendor dispatching and would like the ability to reset these to nul/empty but cannot. I have seen several posts that state once the date is entered there is no way to erase entry. This is problematic for any date field that is not calulated and is allowed to be changed by the user. Hi, I am new to this ManageEngine. I need to Host a Service on Linux (CentOS 7) which requires binding the Port and IP address with the Services. The Port will be 443, which will require the SSL. Multiple events for a single event
Looking through the reports we are noticing the graphs and results are inflated because they are counting a single event as multiple events. For example, say a user gets locked out, we have 3 domain controllers so a single user unlockout event is getting counted as the user getting locked out 3 times instead of just once. likewise the workstation will also report the lockout so we get a workstation user event, a domain controller event(s) all couting as multiple events even though its a single instance.
