Can't get scheduled tasks to run?
Maybe I don't understand the time zone setup (which IMO is a bit bizarre in how you set the time) but even though I have it set so its showing the EDT of a few min ago, the scheduled tasks did not kick off. The only tasks that have run were the ones that ran upon install. There's no indication of an error, there's just nothing happening. In addition the Exchange Report Plus Service, is that actually the agent that gathers info? It's set to automatic but its currently not running, nor does it successfully
SSO no longer working
This has been one headache after another. First SSO worked flawlessly. Then a hotfix came out and SSO is broken. Then another hotfix comes out and SSO is kinda working. Worked with a Tech and got SSO working again, kinda. Now, new hotfix comes out (7610) and SSO is broken once again. What kind of idiots run your QA department? If my company delivered products with as many bugs as you guys do, we'd be out of business. I'm really tired of hotfixes and patches that introduce more bugs than they

Registered contact issue
Hi, I set contact auto-addition like this. Then, I sent email request from hotmail account (jeff_a_@hotmail.com). The request was logged and contact was also logged. Then, I tried to register using hotmail account on Customer portal, but I got this message. So, I clicked on "Forgot password" and found this message. These two messages makes me very confused. I looked up the contact from Admin page and I could find it under "All contects". But I could not find it under "Registered Contacts".

Two problems with Scheduler / Tasks
Hi, We use SD Plus 7605 and have started using the scheduler. There are two problems with it which we would like fixed in the next service pack. 1) In Home -> Scheduler Task shows up for technicians on the scheduled "end date", not scheduled "start date". I think the tasks should either a) Appear on the tasks scheduled "start date", or b) Preferably have some sort of visualization to show them extending from the "start date" to the "finish date" 2) When opening Tasks of mine from the Scheduler, then

Network Layer 2 discovery on latest OPManager release
Hi, I installed the latest 8720 release. I added several switches and routers that are connected eachother. I selected one layer3 device but I can see only one switch connected to this device. How the Layer 2/3 discovery works? What I need to configure on the devices? What are the vendor currently supported? What if I have Cisco devices separated by a Juniper firewall (let's say)? Collation Discrepancy when upgrading from 7016 to build 7512

Page layout broken after adding a new Item
We use ServiceDesk Plus 7.6 Build 7608. After adding a new Item to a sub-category (under Admin > Categories), the whole page layout is "broken". The page affected is CategoryDef.do. This is only a minor issue , because the Item is being correctly added to the sub-category. Also it does only affect the case when adding a NEW Item (not editing). A page refresh will bring back the normal layout...

Error 1067: The process terminated unexpectedly
Just installed the latest hotfix and when I went to restart the Desktop Central, it would go through the motions and then stop. Went into Services and attempted a start and would receive the following error. "Could not start the ManageEngine Desktop Central 7 service on Local Computer. Error 1067: The process terminated unexpectedly." Restarted the server itself and then the Service Desk server showed it was started, however could not access the web browser associated. HTTP Status 500 When creating a custom view filter
I'm am an admin within our system, but, beginning today, I am getting a status 500 error (screenshot attached) when trying to create a custom view filter. I have tried this in IE and Firefox, cleared cache and cookies in each of those browsers and am still getting the error. I have had no problems with these filters for the past 3 weeks when we began using them. There have been no updates done to our system since yesterday. We are are running version 7.6.0 Build 7608
List-Search in the view Workstations > SiteNotKnown does not work
On the page... /WorkstationListViewForGraph.do?criteria=SiteNotKnown when clicking the search icon in the list (magnifying glass) and searching for any field value, one gets redirected to the page... /WorkstationListViewAction.do and the search results are not being applied/displayed.
Alerts not triggered in one particular group?
FYI! We use application Manager 9 - recently we received an issue, i.e when alerts are triggered all groups in adventnet are working fine, but in one group recently no alerts where triggered, we checked all options, all the alerts aree configured, but we did not receive alerts, how to debug this issue,pls let me know
No Data Gathered After Joining OpManager in Active Directory
Hi, Would like to refer problem encountered in OpManager. While OpManager is not yet joined in Active Directory it can still gather data for CPU, Disk, Memory utilization but once we joined it in Active Directory it can no longer gather data from the servers. What might be the cause of this and how can we resolve this problem? Thanks in advance.
Oops looks like a few tables got corrupted
After spending hours setting up op manager and importing all devices, it works ok for a day or so and then get the following error when trying to log in Oops looks like a few tables got corrupted. Don't worry.. Run RepairDB.bat from bin directory and restart the server when we run repairdb.bat it says it finds problems and fixes them. However when logging in we get the same error We have now re-installed op manager 3 times and configured it. Any idea of the problem? We have disabled antivirus
Request Type Field
Somehow from 7/25/10 around midnight I know longer have the Request Type field as an option. All of my forms are missing this field and you cannot add it when creating a new forms, it's not in the add fields list. The previous tickets do not show the field either but I have the email alerts when the tickets were created over the weekend and they have the request type entered. Problem with OpManager seeing my modem/mobile phone.
The modem/phone I had connected to our system was working fine up until this morning. It is a Sony Ericsson W800i connected via a USB cable. I installed the latest patch (8720) and restarted the server and now the modem is just coming up as disconnected. I have uninstalled the modem several times and tried everything I can think of, but OpManager refuses to see the modem. The windows server sees it fine in device manager. OpManager 8720 - Problems with VMWare ESxi4
Hello, yesterday we did an update to Build 8720 (thanks for that service pack). But we have still the issue that we can not monitor VMWare Esxi4 Servers. If I add the VMWare Server it is always detected as Unknown/Unknown/Unknown (snmp is enabled on the VMWare Server and OpManager credential check responds SNMP passed). If I change the type to VMWare ESX Server (which is the only ESX type in the dropdown list), OpManager does not see any Virtual machines. Could it be that the service pack did not
Spam filter not working after migration
Hi, Last Friday I migrated SCP to a dedicated server and upgraded it to the latest build. Sind’s then it seems that the spam filter is not working (properly). Backup/Restore of OpManager 8022 clears the check for alarm clear notifications
We recently moved OpManager build 8022 from one server to another. The backup/restore procedure copied everything over, except the check for "notify when the alarm is cleared". All of our alerts should send clears, but I don't see any way to reset this other than to go into each device, go into each notification profile for that device, and check the box. Update from 7016 to 7503
Hello guys, I have a big problem. I make my backups and start the update proccess from 7016 to 7503 version. At 98% some errors appears in the cmd window and the setup starts to uninstall the application (see the UpdateError.zip file). After the uninstall proccess, I got some corruption on the files and the data base. So, as solution, i've reinstaled all the SupportCenter Plus and the data base and, finally restore the backups. Rediscovery problem + Availability report error
I got three problems with OpManager: 1) I've got a bunch of switches where clicking "rediscovery" doesn't do anynthing. The interfaces are simply not added to the device. 2) I've read about a working solution that should by available in the customer portal, but I don't have a login there (besides having bought OpManager). 3) My reports and dial graphs doesn't show availability information - the only say that the device is not being monitored. SMTP Settings - Not Sending Email
After a bit of troubleshooting, I was finally able to get the incoming email settings correctly configured for ServideDesk, but I've failed to get the outgoing mail settings correctly and SDP isn't sending out replies or notifications. I'm running Windows Small Business Server 2008 with Exchange Server 2007. Adding New Product in Purchase Order Fails to Load
I opened a new PO to order some new software. I click on the little button next to the Product's drop down which is supposed to pop up a window to add a new software. However, instead, I get the "Loading Please Wait" dialogue that never compeltes (see fail1.jpg). The other add buttons seem to work properly (add vendor, add shipping address, add billing address). Field "Department" in Technician details too short
I realized that the dropdown menu "Department" in Technician Details is way too short, in order to read the full Department name and also the Site that department is attached to. Is there a short term fix I could apply myself (increasing the menu-size on the HTML page?). Because this makes it really unhandy to assign department to Technicians. The field should be at least as large as when you view the details of a Requester - there the size of the dropdown is quite OK. Thanks, Oliver
Statistics wrong?
Hi, After using Opmanager to monitor bandwidth for a while now, I yesterday activated the netflow plugin and configures our CISCO ASA accordingly. Most things seem to work fine beside that the statistics I get seem to be wrong. We have a 15 MBit line. But the traffic statistics show up to 500 MBit (seen netfow screenshot attached). At the same time, monitoring via SNMP shows the correct information. (see SNMP screenshot). What could be wrong here? Thanks Robert

Custom View Errors...
I have been having this problem when ever I attempt to create a custom view (regardless of private or public) where it keeps adding the completed time constraints that I don't want. So for example, I created this view to look at all requests for a specific technician or unassigned that are not closed or resolved. When I look at the view, it keeps adding the additional time constraints that I did not ask it to do.

Import from AD - when was last?
Where in DB I can see when was last import from AD (doesn't matter manually or schedule)? When I manually do import - it didn't end. It give me to choose OU to import but when I push start import - it going and going and 0 entries import.
Patch is Already Installed Errors...
This was my first weekend attempting to deploy patches with desktop central, and while previous one machine patch deployments have gone well this has not. We have a total of about 58 machines, and here's the process I went through (manual deployment). 1. Run patch scan 2. Go to "Missing Patches" 3. Select All Patches 4. Click the "Install Patches" button. 5. Leave configuration defaults and click deploy. To speed up the deployment after the configuration shows ready I use system tools to reboot
Fresh Install NetFlow 8 Build 8000 Eval
Have a fresh install of NetFlow Analyzer 8 Build 8000 on CentOS 5. We are exporting the NetFlow packets from an Adtran NetVanta 4305 Firmware 17.05.01.00.E on 3 interfaces, Ethernet 0/1, 0/2 and the WAN PPP (logical port made of 4 T1 for our MPLS WAN connection.) NetFlow Analyzer is reporting that it recieving the packets, but NO data is being shown. I have green status for all of the interfaces. I have confirmed that the Adtran is sending the flows to the correct port. Not sure what to look?
