Issue with emails to multiple groups
I have several groups on Servicedesk which are included on a new email request by a user. However, everytime when a certain group is included the incudent never gets created for that group. For example I have groups, A, B and C. New request emailed to group A - gets created OK. New request emailed to groups B and C (both included as recipitent on the email) - request gets created twice, one in each group OK. New request emailed to groups A, B and C (all included as recipitent on the email)
Changing interface bandwidth to a lower value than real bandwidth will cause tx or rx showing zero
Our customer has a 20M MPLS lease line, he complains that when he change interface bandwidth to 5M , the traffic graph stop graphing. I created a test environment to simulate his problem , and I found when the IN traffic was over the interface bandwidth we set, it shows IN traffic is zero. see the attachments graph1.jpg. In graph1.jpg ... tx/rx interface bandwidth are both set to 100bps.( for testing) I generated traffic using snmpbulkwalk to generate an unbalanced traffic pattern.
Consider Notes Addition as First Response - Option not presented
Just upgraded from 8107 to 8114 and encountered the new feature ( not sure which release provided it ) that a prompt for "Consider Notes Addition as First Response" is available when adding a note against a request when the request is open. So If have request open and from ACTIONS option choose ADD NOTES and there are no responses against the request the prompt is shown at the bottom of teh add notes page. However if that same request is viewed from the Request list - My Open or Unassigned for
The IP groups data doesn't add up to the total traffic
Hi, I have configured Netflow on routers across my network WAN. I have configured some IP groups on the Netflow server. The issue is that when I add the traffic from Individual IP groups it comes more than the total traffic passed on that interface. This negative data is around 35% of total traffic. I have made sure that all the IPs in these IP groups are different and are not repeated. Also these are only destination IPs and no Source-Destination IP pair is there. Can you suggest what might be
My SDP has stopped responding

Last Wednesday the system reported that it had expired, on Thursday the SDP failed to open more. Can't add Column Resource Tag to Asset view
On the asset overview page I can't add the column "Resource Tag" which would be quite helpful. *edit: Just saw there is already a feature request for this: SDF-27448 Resource Tag option is required in column chooser of all asset list views. I would still class it as a bug because it makes the product almost unusable when working with Asset Tags.
Import SSL Cert from Comodo - .pfx
I've been trying to get a cert working for ssl on our manage engine client for a couple of days now. We have a pre-existing cert with comodo so we decided to use that. Unfortunately the cert we were given was a .pfx which doesn't seem to be compatible with your keystone tools, we manage to export a x.509 .crt file on a server using mmc and the certificate manager. OpManager broadcasts causing FW alerts
I have OpManager with the NFA plugin (Build 7400 {SP-7.0+SP-1.0+SP-2.0+SP-4.0}. SQL phantom host (cant remove/cant add new)

Template not parsing a field
Hello, I've been working on creating User Templates however the First Name field never parses into the remaining fields. For Example: First Name: John Last Name: Doe Results in: Display Name: doe, (New york) E-mail: .Doe@Domain.com First name is omitted. We've tried to create new templates from scratch and continue to encounter this issue. Looking for advice or a possible fix. Thanks for your help with this.
Solution Format Issue
Hi, We have been experiencing an issue where under our Solutions tab we have a Release Notes 'solution' that we edit and update everytime we release a new version of software. However, anytime after saving the solution when it is clicked on to edit, the formatting starts coming undone, primarily through extra lines of space being added after every line of text. use asset in sd+ behind isa 2006
Dears, I'm trying Service Desk and publish it using isa 2006 and i can connect to it successfully, but when i'm trying to scan using agent mode i can't. i notice that after download the agent to pc ;server ip "which appear in registry" is my internal ip not the published one i made another test and change sd+ ip to be real ip and everything working like a charm now my problem when i'm using it behind isa 2006 any ideas?
Problem with login name that is the same except v or w
Hello We have a problem that if we have a user name like mawan and mavan, when we do a search on requester on either username we get both users instead of just one. A username should be unique and it is but why does it return both? I dont know yet if this effects us in more ways. NFA hangs when click Conversation for interfaces with a lot of traffic
We are running a setup of Netflow Analyzer on: RHEL6.3 64 bits HP BL490c G7 14 GB Ram SAN Storage using HP EVA P6300 Latest NEtflow Analyzer Professional 9700 release We are stuck in a problem related to a hang of the application when you click an interface with a lot of traffic, the request is very slow and finish with no data, we dont't have this on low traffic interfaces. We tried to reduce the row counts etc but without any results. Do you have any fix for this, in the past we had this problem
OPManager suite problem
Hello. We have a ticket id#4485667 and we don't have any kind of feedback about it. We tried to report that issue by telephone but we don't have any answer. The problem is that sometimes suddenly the communication with the server is lost, but my client said that he only have the issue with the OPManager application, and another network applications doesn't have any kind of problems. Patch Misreporting?
Running Windows Update on one of my virtual machines reports that it requires 2 patches (KB2728973 and KB2687324) but Desktop Central reports that it is up to date and no patches are required? Is there a logic problem with these 2 patches? Logging support request now.
Password history not available to password users
On our installation of PMPro 6600, when a regular password user clicks on the password history icon, an error message is displayed: "An error when processing the request..." and no history pop-up is displayed. Displaying password history works for password administrators. I've confirmed this behavior with multiple accounts and different browsers.
New Remote Control doesn't work

Hello, We are using build 8112 and for some time now we have users getting the following message: "Request does not fall under your permitted scope. so you are not authorized to update the same." "Pick Values" button in Reports->Advanced Filtering not working for any field
I am customising the "Requests By Category" Report in ServiceDesk Plus On Demand. When I go to Advanced Filtering, select a field e.g. "Request Status", select "is" as the criteria, then I go to click on the "Pick Values" button (the icon with the arrow/list), nothing happens. The result is I cannot add a filter at all. This happens on the latest IE (v9 on Win7) and latest Chrome. It also seems to happen no matter which field is chosen. Any help would be appreciated! Disk utilization incorrect
Good Morning, I just recently upgrade to version 9011 and have has some issues with monitoring since. Our production SQL servers are being reported as using 100% disk utilization for the system, however its closer to 48%. This server has about 15 LUNs attached, none of which are near that number. Has anyone else had this problem?

desktop central: need to change repository folder on distribution servers
When installing distribution server i do not have an option to change the default folder where will be located all msi and patch files. In most servers I do not have enoght free space on C drive, I need to change it to D,E or F drive letter Is it a way to install a distribution server and change the repository folder to another location?

Problem deploying Java 7 update 7 to 64bit computers
When I deploy Java 7 update 7 to my 32bit computer the install is successful but when I try to deploy it to my 64bit machines I get an error message about the "Installation package could not be opened".
Agent installed but showing as not installed
We do a discovery scan daily at noon and sometimes after the daily scan has performed it shows 640 computers with no agent. And if I do a manual scan of these 640 computers that number drops down to 60. Is there a reason why sometimes the discovery scan would not be able to detect the agent but the manual scan done immediately after would? This is more of an annoyance than a serious issue but it is still annoying.
8112 email issue
We have upgraded to manage engine 8112 and now we are having an issue with email. It seems that after the update squirrelmail users are getting blank emails. From what I can tell there is no longer a html body tag in the email and they just come in blank. I have tried firefox and IE and the issue is the same. Gmail exchange or yahoo are not effected by this issue. Please advise.
Cannot create layer 2 topology map with Juniper switch as seed device
Currently evaluating OpManager. Added switches and trying to create layer 2 map. Choose core switch as seed device, which is a Juniper EX4500-40F running JunOS 11.4R1.6. Map is not created saying no links discovered. Also tried another Juniper EX4500-40F core switch at another network site. This time core switch was added, but no other attched devices were discovered. At both sites LLDP is enabled. Attached switches are Juniper EX and Nortel/Avaya 5500 series switches.
MySQL unable to backup and found error
please forgive my poor english.. I just found the system is unable to backup and when I study the error log from MySQL and found the following error: error row 2 the count of fields is wrong. When I google it, I found required to run the mysql_upgrade to fix the table issue. but I can't find it. Should I copy the mysql_upgrade from others?
SLA's aren't sending out e-mails
Just created a bunch of SLA's for our sites. To test it out i've put the escalation level 1 at 5mins and the escalation 2 level for 10mins. I create a job for myself and set the priority that the sla is attached too. The sla applies when i create the work order. My problem is I don't receive a escalation level 1 e-mail after 5mins nor do i actually receive a escalation 2 e-mail. Everything is fine with our exchange server and it sends e-mails from jobs instantly.
Workflow Approval notifications are not being sent. However, Created & Rejected notifications are being sent.
I'm having an issue with Approval Notifications. When a request is approved, it is not sent to the Requestor and email addresses specified. However, requestors & technicians receive Created & Rejected emails just fine. Work Flow Setup: Requestor --> Approver --> Active Directory Thanks, Matt
Groups cannot be deleted
Hi all We can add new groups but not delete them. Even there isn't a Request or Task associated with those Groups (sdp1.jpg) We have 8.1.0 Build 8110 and updated our test-enviroment to 8112 - same problem. There is nothing to find in the System Log Viewer. Thanks
asset workstation reconcilation
Hello, I want to raise a problem I'm encountering, trying to reconcile software licenses coming from the POs with the softwares scanned by the application. When I select the reconcile option from the PO actions menu, the window pop up telling me that there's no workstation to select, even if there are hundreds of them, including the ones where those software are installed. could it be related to the site configuration? the site configuration has been changed a little and I suppose it can be involved
Delay in support center becuase of creation of reports
