Groups cannot be deleted
We can add new groups but not delete them. Even there isn't a Request or Task associated with those Groups (sdp1.jpg) We have 8.1.0 Build 8110 and updated our test-enviroment to 8112 - same problem. There is nothing to find in the System Log Viewer. Thanks

After i have select interface for monitor bandwidth when i change to main page of bandwidth monitor it have show all interface that i select.All interface on this page show status down. IP Address Manager
Ive created custom colums in order to identify certain things in a IP/Host over a subnet. For example, username, date, hostname.. After next subnet scan this fields goes empty every single time, and after some researching we have found that the host IP is being removed and rediscovered each time. Why is this happening? Fully patched systems show up as vulnerable
I have systems that show they are vulnerable and need MicroSoft Patchs (105 total) but the computers are fully patched. Desktop Central was installed 8/10/12 and the last scan in the Highly Vulnerables list also shows 8/10/12. I need to schedule this scan but have not found out how. The systems were checked yesterday and they perform automatic updates. Interestingly, these systems show under the inventory report that the last successful scan was 8/30 and they showed 8/29 yesterday. What am I overlooking

Guys, We migrate SC Plus from a Linux server to a Windows Server. Every thing worked fine except the download of solution's attached files. This is the issue: 1. All files attached to SC Plus while it runned in Linux environment returns a error message. Technican can only create requests as a requester
Two of our technicans has a strange problem, I doubt if I have done something stupid... just can't figure out what it is. They log on just fine, and are able to see their requests, he can solve and close their requests. However, if they try to create a new request, they only get the template requesters should get. They can't set other requesters, nor can they assign other technicans to it. I tried giving admin permissions, and did not help. Is there some sort of permission that I'm not seeing, or
Description field blank
Ever since upgrading to 4108 from 4104 when we open a ticket the description field is blank, if we hit f5 to refresh it then appears. We upgraded to 4109 this morning hoping that would fix it, it has not. Yes we have cleared cache, tried different PC's, different browsers, the problem is the same. If we hover over the ticket in list view, the description appears, if we click on the ticket the description field is blank. Help !
Technican list empty, when a certain technican should be shown
I'm having a small problem here. Today I created two technicans. When I created a new request, the technican list would be empty. If I would pick a group first, and then a technican, it would be fine, just as long as these two technicans weren't members of the group. Preventative Maintenance - Changing to one time Schedule
Morning, We've been having an issue recently where Preventative Maintenance tasks are changing themselves to one time only events with no scheduled time. In the past I've rescheduled the PM tasks and it looks fine for a while, then the PM's stop generating and the schedules have changed. What can I do to resolve this issue. Cannot allocate more than 100 users to a CAL software license
In ServiceDeskPlus On demand, I have a software license for 240 user based CALs. When I select a whole bunch of users (230 of them) and click the add button, then click save, I get an error message: "The maximum number of values for Allocatetowslist cannot exceed 100" There doesn't seem to be anyway around this- or am I doing something wrong?

Missing requester UDF field after update to 8110
Hi all. We have updated our SDP distribution from 7611 to 8110. We are using custom UDF field (UDF_LONG1) in requester table. After this update we're unable to see this data while searching requesters. I found, that after update all data from Requester_Fields.UDF_LONG1 were copied into Requester.ATTRIBUTE_301 field during update. Now RequesterDef.do page is working with new configuration and uses Requester.ATTRIBUTE_301 instead of old Requester_Fields.UDF_LONG1. Asset with dot in the name
Gents, I have the following issue. We use dot (".") in the names of network sockets. We created network sockets as assets. All works fine, but if you open Relationships for this asset, ServiceDesk will strip all characters after dot. Can you please fix that ? See the attached screenshot.

Unassigned Tasks sends notification
Good morning, We're getting an issue with tasks notifications, when a new task is created within a request, and the technician is not assigned but the group is, it's triggering the "E-mail technician when a task is assign to them." notification. It's sending emails to technicians that belong to the task's assigned group, but the notification should be sent only to the technician once it's assigned, as in the name of the notification (so no notification sent with only group assigned but no technician).

SDP bug and questions
Hi, we recently upgraded to SDP 8.1.0 Build 8109 and noticed 2 bugs in it. The first one happens on IE9, when you open a request it will not always show the description. To fix that you need to refresh the webpage. This behaviour is not happening with Chrome or Firefox. The other issue is with Chrome and the request ID field. Unable to access servicedesk via port 8080
Please we had a little issue when starting servicedesk, it gets stacked in the application layer. I changed the port from 8080 to 8070 and is going through. I will like to know if you can get me a script to stop any service running on port 8080 with the exception of servicedesk because checking from the process id’s in windows the port has a binding with the “system” process.

why permission is auto changed?
We are using Netflow Analyzer EE 7.7.0 . Recently a question of the right permissions. System running for some time, or add some monitoring equipment group, all accounts will be able to view all devices, even without the authorized equipment. I went to check the account authorized account authorization has been automatically changed to can view all devices, but I have not done any changes on the account. Why is that?

Notification Template does not save correctly
Hi, Whenever I configure the text and the layout for the various notification and reply templates the layout does not always stick so when an email is then sent they layout is incorrect. Deleting Site - Stays at Processing
Hello. I am trying to delete some sites. I have 2 sites that I am unable to delete / merge into an existing site. SQL to MYSQL
We were just accessing our database trying to create a Crystal Report from it and we noticed that when we upgraded SDP to 8.1 it changed the database from the current SQL that we were using to a MYSQL database. We really would like to go back to using the SQL database but were wondering if there is a way to change the current MYSQL database that has been in use from the release of 8.1 back to a SQL database? Description is missing in request view
Hi everyone, We've updated to the 8109 release, and some of our technicians experiencing issues in viewing requests. When they open request, sometimes (but often) they can view only the part of the request description. And the other part is missing. Only admins from branch offices report this problem (they have WAN access to the site - from 2 to 40 mbit/s). Clearing the Internet Explorer cache helps them, but not for a long time.
