Default incident template in od app
If in the self service portal settings the option to disable the default template for requesters is disabled it removes it from the template list on the app. The issue i have is that I am forced by your system to have a default template that is visible to the requester (in on premisis version i could set it to technican only). If I leave it visible, when in the web browser & they click new incident it will take them straight to the default and not the list of templates. Note this only occured since

Device Configurations being redeployed
Senario: A device has a number of configurations deployed to it for icons, software etc. The device has an issue and is rebuilt. Once rebult the configurations that are still active don't deploy again on the freshly rebuilt device. Current Workaround: Remove the device from Desktop Central and add it in again. Does anyone have any other way of clearing the status's of a device without having to remove it and re-add it to Desktop Central?
Windows 10 Feature deployment via Self Service Portal
I'm attempting to configure Windows 10 1803 deployment to previous releases of Windows 10 via the Self Service Portal. I'm using the following command as a software deployment "\\DNSDomainName.local\DC Repository\Microsoft\Windows\10\1803\x64\Setup.exe" /ReflectDrivers "%programfiles%\McAfee\Endpoint Encryption\OSUpgrade" /auto upgrade /DynamicUpdate disable This command works fine manually but not via the Self Service Portal. Any ideas why. I just get a generic Windows Update warning '0x80070003
Desktop Central suddenly shows up 5 year old Patches ...
... that don't match as well. For more than 200 Systems! Installing those patches on a testsystem fails (See attached screenshot) For now, all systems are marked as highly vulnerable. So its not that easy to figure out the machines that are really highly vulnerable now. DC build is 10.0.236, restarted DC-Service, synced Patch database several times. Old patches remain after Patchscan of all Systems after syncing. Any Ideas?
Field Dependancy
Hi, We are trying to add additional fields to Incidents and Requests to identify the Floor and Room that the Requester is located in. So we may have, as an example, the Floor field as First Floor and the Room field as Meeting Room 2. We were looking to have two separate fields, with the Rooms only showing for the selected Floor. This would work similarly to Category and Sub-category, but I cannot seem to find any way to make it work. Does anyone know if it is possible and has anyone done this previously?
Importing Requesters on Full domain results in an error
When i go to import requesters and I click Import Now, then select the full domain or top level OU, it takes me to this error screen in the attachment. I can dig deeper into the OUs and do smaller batches, but when i try to import the top level it results in an error.
Can't get Mail Fetching to work after migration to O365 outlook.office365.com
Hello, after migration to O365 I can't get Mail Fetching to work. Sending email via SMTP work fine. I've tried multiple settings IMAP/IMAPS/POP/POPS etc with different settings and credentials. Text errors in email notifications in latest update
Some errors in email alerts. When unchecking show profile name, the email subject still has a colon (:) in the beginning of the subject line. Also, %CALLER_USER_NAME% now contains the domain name in front with no slash (ex. "DOMAINusername") in both email subject line and message text. Please remove, or add the option to remove the domain name. And the computer name has the trailing $ in the email subject and message text (ex. "DESKTOP$"). Not needed for email alerts.
Cannot report on "Impact Details" field
I'm not sure whether this is a standard field in ServiceDesk+, but I'm unable to report on a field called "Impact Details" We do not use this field anymore in most of our templates, but some still have this field visible. Before removing it from the templates in question, I wanted to make sure that no one really uses it anymore, but when I went to Reports this field was not visible to report on ("Impact" is, but "Impact Details" is not). It cannot be selected as criteria, and it can't be displayed

report on running work timer
Hi, I'm trying to create a report that shows us any tickets for a particular technician whose work timer is currently running. Sometimes techs tend to forget to stop the timer. I'm trying to find a field/property that would show me whether or not the timer is running, but had no luck so far. Is it possible at all? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Martin

Reports No Longer Contain Hyperlinks
All our reports no longer contain any Hyperlinks. So for example the RequestID and Subject fields were always hyperlinks. I am on build 9307 on my Prod build. My test server is on build 9405. It works fine on this server.
Change workflow : some status are not showing in some stages

Advanced Search not retaining conditions
Advanced Search in Request View is not keeping the AND/OR parameters selected. A number of months ago I created a multi-line search that I used at month-end to ensure we had all pertinent fields populated prior to running monthly reports. This consists of multiple lines connected with the OR condition. After updating to 9409 (we did 4builds at once) the criteria changes to AND for every line. This necessitates changing all AND conditions to OR every time it is run. The conditions are not being kept

Dear Team, We are using desktop central 10.0.0.218 and wanted to upgrade to 10.0.0.236. During the upgrade process the server got rebooting due to other application and now the desktop central server service is not getting started. And even not allowing me to upgrade again. Please help me to fix it
ADSelfService Plus - Redirect HTTP to HTTPS
Hello - We're running v5.5, build 5521. We've successfully enabled SSL to port 443. So, accessing https://ad.mydomain.com takes users to the SSL enabled version of the login page. The way I understood it, once SSL was enabled, any HTTP requests should automatically forward to HTTPS. But, that doesn't seem to be the case for us. Request Closing Rules do not affect Service Catalog items
Under our Request Closing Rules, we have the fields Impact, Request Type and Priority selected. These are also mandatory fields when creating requests. This all works fine, however I've noticed that requests raised via the Service Catalog can be closed without completing these. I assumed that Request Closing Rules controlled this, but it doesn't. Is there another area that controls this for Service Catalog items?

Resolution Time in Time Elapsed Analysis calculation
What is the logic/purpose of this calculation? See my attachment. What math makes up the Resolution Time in the "clock" tab and why? In the attached, the original SLA was 70 hours It appears to be SLA + non open or closed time. What us this number trying to represent? We're on 9409

Problems with Field and Form rule using Approval Status
I'm guessing the answer to this will be the usual "we've logged this as a bug" or "upgrade to version xxx" but I'll try anyway. I'm trying to configure a Service Catalog item that requires Approval. When the ticket is logged it sits in one Support Group. What I want to do is configure a form rule that moves the ticket to another Support Group once it has been approved. Error after migratet SDP
Hello to all. on Thursday a migrate my SDP 9.3 Build 9335 2k3 x86 & mysql -> 9.3 Build 9335 2k12R2 x64 & MSSQL2008 Sp3 at first glance, everything worked, but today I noticed that there is no way to join the requsest. when i tried to merge i have error banner (in attachment) trace log in atachment. Backup with backup.bat work without error. Anybody have any idea?
User portal configuration
Hi Is there any way that the options on the User Portal menu bar (underneath the logo and home icon) can be changed or removed? We would like to remove the "Request Catalog" and "Search" options so that only the widgets are used. This is for two reasons: continuity for users - access info from one place not multiple places, and spelling - it is Catalogue not Catalog where we work. I don't seem to be able to find those settings. Cheers
Can not import personnal passwords when user language is not english
Version 9700 Steps to reproduce Create a new user and set his language on French. Log in with this user account and try to import a CSV file in Personal section. What is expected? Every passwords in CSV file should be imported. What is actually happening? At step 2, I can't see every fields/colums. I just see Tags field.

Formatting for PDF Custom Reports - Topic Revisited
Hello, I created a custom report yesterday in PMP 9.1. The report run properly, but the PDF export does not have any cover page or header material. SSH not work
I have see in your changelog "In v9601, SSH connections to remote systems failed if Password Manager Pro was running on an Ubuntu server. This has been fixed.". I have updated to v9700 and the problem is not solved!!! I use Ubuntu 16.04.4 and with Version 9501 we had no problems with the SSH connections. Wrong build information
Hello, We are using build 9405, but when I go to Community and scroll all the way down to Build Information, the build information is wrong. It says the latest build is 9409 and when I click Details, it goes to the Servicedesk Plus Download Service Packs page. Do I get a goodie bag now? :-) Regards, Kerim
NTLM pass-through authentication doesnt work on Chrome
Hi, I just installed SDP. I've implemented pass-through authentication, it works on Firefox and IE. But in the company, the browser used by default is Chrome, and is a requisition that the users don't need to type theirs credentials every time they used SDP When I open the SDP site, Chrome just redirect to login page. Installed version is 35.0.1916 Please, any idea what I'm doing wrong? Thanks in advance, Alejandro

No technician with org admin privilege assigned
Hello: I need to add more technicians to SDP Ondemmand but I am recieving the message "You need organization admin privileges to add new user with login permissions". I've checked on the technicians list and no one has the blue star. I'll appreciate your help on this. Regards.
Changing Technician E-Mail Address
We have changed the e-mail addresses for some of our technicians, but e-mails are still going to their old addresses - this now causes an issue as the old addresses are no longer valid. The odd thing is that in the Technician List View, it shows their old addresses, but when you go into a Technician record it shows the new details. Any thoughts? I'd rather not delete the Technicians and recreate them if possible.

Task tab in incidents doesn't show full title of tasks
Is there some trick to show the full title of a task in the task tab of an incident? Even if I remove columns it does not show the full title of the task (for tasks with long titles). Mousing over the task doesn't show the full title.

Tried to upgrade from 9400 to 9409 and got java errors at 98%.
9409 bug with Scribble Pad
I just upgraded our Dev to 9409 from 9403. Tested our Scribble Pad. Found an issue. Added some random text to the pad. Closed and saved. I can open and my text is still there but if I try to edit and/or close the window closes but I get a pop up "Internal Error" red box that disappears in about 8 seconds. If I re-open Scribble Pad, text has not changed. Screen shot of error. Please advise
