Hello, Will there be an update to allow configuration of the Public and Private firewall settings?
External IP address change for server
We have changed our ISP and as a result our external IP address has changed. I have changed the address in the NAT settings but there appears to be no way to change it on the Agent on the phones. I am unable to uninstall the app from a Droid Maxx. It tells mee i must deactivate the app because it is a device administrator but I don't see anyway to do that. It appears that the only option is to wipe the phone back to factory defaults. Help Mike
Uninstall Patches
I'm planning on setting up automatic patch deployment, but I'd like to have to ability to roll back or uninstall a patch across the board if it is causing problems. There doesn't seem to be an "uninstall" option when looking at installed patches. Is there a way to do this? Thanks Candi
MS Patch KB2861193 - False Positive
Hi, A few of our machines are scanned in DC and apparently missing patch KB2861193 - However, this patch is not for the machines. The machines scanned are Windows 7 SP 1 and the details from the MS website say the patch is applicable to .Net 4.5 on Vista SP2 and Svr 2008 SP 2 only >> http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2861193 Is there anything I can do to remove this patch from DC so it doesn't show a false positive?

Where in Desktop Central is this email coming from? Its titled "Subject: Computer Added to AD" I want to change the destination email address, but I cant find the setting anywhere. Links not working in File Folder Operation window
Hi, I am trying to use desktop central for copying, moving, renaming files in various files in the managed computers. But the problem I am experiencing is that the links in the File Folder Operation window are not working for me. In step 2, ie Define Configuration, I cannot move to tabs "Rename", "Move" and "Delete" from the tab "Copy". The button "Add More File/Folder" in step 2 is also not functioning. I am not able to save the configuration as the "Save As Draft" button is not working. Kindly

Desktop Central Remote Contol across countries
Hi All, i would like some information on the best way to setup DesktopCentral for use in different countries. currently we have one central DesktopCentral server with multiple distribution servers. the main DC server is in the UK so when the guys in the USA are starting a remote connection to a clients machine the connection is started from the UK DC server so the remote connection is very slow. can i setup a USA server for DesktopCentral or is there a way for the remote connections to connect
Feature Request: OU picker and displaying time
We just switched to DC for our patching needs. I wanted to recommend two quick (and hopefully easy) changes that would greatly enhance the product! First - display the server time on all the pages, not just when you're scheduling a configuration. Deployed configurations not updated with newly added members in AD group
Hi, when we've deployed an application for an AD group and the membership is changed (a new user is added to the group) the new user does not get the application, we have to update the configuration and once again add the AD group. Is there a way to change this setting? Regards, Tony L

I need to deploy a desktop shortcut to a mapped drive to all user desktops. I don't see the place it Desktop Central to create this. I can create a shortcut to launch a program or an Internet shortcut, but not a shortcut to a mapped drive. Please advise.

It's possible have a new approve status for the patch? I would like to have a level "approve to test systems group" The patch in this status in approve only for a group of systems definited in the admin control pannel. Thanks
Remote shutdown - adjust machine list automatically based on domain
It would be useful to be able to schedule remote shutdown by domain. For example, in patch management, you can just select the domain, and the included machine list automatically changes based on the scope of management as machines are added or removed. Similar functionality would be useful with scheduled remote shutdown so that you could select one or more domains and then exclude specific machines if necessary. Report of systems without software installed
Is it possible to create a report to list systems WITHOUT specific software installed? When I try this using 'not like', it simply lists every audited software item that does not match (dozens per system) - vs only systems that don't have that specific software product installed.

Shared Network printer for computers in AD Group.
Is it possible to setup a shared network printer for computers in an Active Directory Group ? We would like to assign the printers to the computers instead of users. HP warranty lookup not working on 80279
I've found that after updating to version 80279, the HP warranty lookup is still not working (despite being in the release notes). This is because the agent is not gathering the HP part number, only the service tag. Both are needed to query the warranty. Hi here my ideas for MDM: - In the Devices windows have an icon that show you what device is currently online and offline - I tried remotely wipe and I noticed that If the device is offline,the wipe return a timeout error. Is it possible to add the feature that when I run a wipe and the device is offline the wipe remains in pending until the devices comes up?

Office 2010 Deployment - This update package could not be opened
I am attempting to deploy Office 2010 from a network share with Desktop Central. I have had success in the past doing so, but it seems like lately any time I try, I get a failure. Tried with the client's Windows firewall on and off, and there's no third party AV or firewall installed yet. I have ensured the Admin$ share is enabled, file and print sharing is turned on, and so on. Problems display missing patches
Hello, after the update from build 260 to 279 the missing patches are not displayed correctly. In the menu item: "Patch Mgmt" -> "All Patches" the slider "Missing Patches" display "6" in brackets, but in the "Patch View" no patches are displayed. The same in the "Computer View". Us a template for Automatic Updates
Is it possible to use a patch template with automatic updates? For example, I need to perform automatic updates on a particular Remote Office and Domain and deploy the patches provided: 1. during 90 minute refresh (or at startup - which ever I select) 2. Allow user to skip deployment 3. Allow user to skip reboot 4. Display a custom reboot message. I can do all these for software but not automatic patch deployments. Am I missing something or can this feature set be added in future
Chat - can't select machine when user is logged into more than one computer
When I use the chat tool, for some users, I can view a dropdown list of machines they are logged into and select the machine I want to connect to. For other users, I can view a partial dropdown without any machines listed. There doesn't seem to be any pattern. For most users, I can view the machine dropdown, but this is a problem if I am remote controlling one of the machines they are logged into, and I need to communicate with them.

Would it be possible to add the ability to start a chat session with the machine you are remote controlling directly from the remote control window? Right now, I have to start a remote session and then go back to the chat feature to start a chat session with the user so I can communicate with them.
