iTunes - Desktop Central Patch update
Hi All,
Environment:
2008 Domain controller
Windows 7 x64
Software Restriction policies enabled (prevent execution from root directory)
Windows 7 UAC Enabled.
Software: Apple iTunes x64
Latest Update: iTunes X64 (11.1.2)
Problem:
Error on startup saying a particular DLL is not registered after applying updates automatically from Desktop Central.
Resolution:
Manually uninstall and re-install from each client PC after entering admin credentials. (Painful)
I know this error is related to Apple, Itunes & Microsoft but I'm hoping is there anything I can do in Desktop Central to alter the deployment to avoid this error occurring again? I'd appreciate any feedback :)
