iOS Manually Enroll without a Domain
I want manual/self enrollment to work for iOS devices without needing a domain name. It did not use to ask for this. We don't have a domain set up here. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Android Remote desktop
this really might not be the place for this but I am struggling to find a solution and was hoping someone here has run in to this issue. we are using moblie device manager for all of our android tablets. the only program that runs on the tablet is Microsoft remote desktop (kiosk mode). my issue is that a few of our users keep deleting the connection settings in the remote desktop app and all they see is "Its lonely here". anyone have any ideas how i can prevent them form deleting the settings......desperate.......thanks
Work Profile and Free Edition
Our trial version has recently expired, and since that, the "Work Profile" (and its apps) has suddenly disappeared from all our devices (it was present before, see screenshot). However, the devices still show as "corporate" in the console. Is there any limitation of the free edition regarding to that or is it a bug?
Desktop Central MDM - Deploy Enterprise Apps with "Parameters/Variables"
Is it possible to deploy iOS Enterprise Apps with pre-defined Paramterers? For instance, deploying a VPN iOS app to devices with the VPN settings (url, username..) already configured through a configuration file. I know this is possible with other MDMs such as VMWAre Airwatch, but i ahve not seen this option in Desktop Central MDM ?

Hi, does anyone know if Desktop Central can utilize the always-on capabilities that come with the usage of Microsofts Direct Access? Eg User boots up Laptop in foreign Network and Desktop Central deploys Patches utilizing the direct access connections without prior actions/logins by user?
MDM users vs devices
I thought there was a way that you can assign users to profiles in MDM rather than just devices. I just created a new profile and I can only add devices. So if that person gets a new device, it will have to be added to each profile. Is there a way to add the users, rather than devices as this could become a very big administrative nightmare.

Desktop Central 10.0.70 Devices fail to scan through Mobile Device Mgmt
Ever since we updated to 10.0.70 we've had numerous issues but the most glaring one is the fact that our mobile devices now fail to scan on an almost daily basis. If I reboot the DC server and the forwarding server in our DMZ and then run a manual scan it seems to work just fine. I have to do this only an almost daily basis in order to keep tabs on our devices.

Patching highly mobile devices
Ok, I have one for you. In DTC we have a hard time patching the PD Officer tablets, they are constantly on and off the network. So much so that some patches fail and others will not install because of the failed patch. Do they have a suggestion on patching highly mobile devices. Can an Officer dock the tablet and request a scan from the device and not have to wait for the server to run its 90 minute cycle? How do I delete App Catalog from my iPhone?
A few days ago an App Catalog icon appeared on my phone. I don't recall ever installing App Catalog. I have checked through my list of apps on iTunes but it is not listed. I can't delete the app. I am not part of an enterprise network - I am an individual. At first, the app just showed a white page with a 404, but now it finally loaded to say something about manageengine. So I Googled and found this site. Please explain how to remove it and also how it might have ended up on my phone. Thanks
Disable android device screen timeout
I am deploying Samsung tablets for a truck tracking system and I am locking these tablets down and setting them to Kiosk mode. Is there a way to disable the lock screen timeout so the screen stays on all the time? These tablets are permanently mounted and constantly powered by hardwired vehicle power and the screen timeout is becoming an issue for the drivers. There is no need for the screen to timeout in this situation and should be on all the time. Thank you

Hello, I'm unable to view the phone number of the phones from the Desktop Central server. I only see the error message 'phone number is not detected'. I've read the KB article. The status displayed is the phone number of the phone. This is a very important feature, any ideas?
Can MDM devices automatically be authorized for ActiveSync Quarantine?

Back in June I attempted to Migrate Desktop Central to SQL database, which failed and left Desktop Central unusable. I attempted repair per instructions provided from Manage Engine Support but nothing worked so I reinstalled Desktop Central on the Server. MDM iOS devices timeout during automatic configuration
Everything looks good on the DEP side. It's showing that it is connected to the DesktopCentral server and the devices enrolled in DEP are showing up on the MDM DEP page. After I assign a user and the device status is updated to "Awaiting Device Activation" I turn on the device and it attempts automatic configuration but gives a timeout error. This process is all fairly new to me, any ideas on where it is failing and what I should check?

MDM Geo Tracking always out of date
Hi, have enabled this on a few phones but when I go the geo-tracking page the location shown is always showing a random location from a long time before. Quite often the day before. Using the google account on the same phone shows the location regularly update locations. Thanks Chris

How to self enroll andorid device with out AD authenication
I am currently testing the MDM and was wondering how I could enroll an android device with out using AD or sending an email to the user. My goal would be have an admin or who ever is setting up the phone for the user do the enrollment but if that person enrolls it under their ad login then it would be tied to their login. I dont want to the phone being tied to the user setting it up. Is there a way to enroll a device without a login?
Some clients will not sync on desktop central
I am new to using desktop central. My first device was a samsung device and it enrolled and synced properly. Profile was loaded along with App. We then loaded a second device. When configuring the apple configurator with the MDM Server, I have typed in the Name and URL, but it says that it can't find server. I seem to get "further" if I just type in the IP address and let it search for the server URL. To be clear, I type in name of "MDM-Test" and hostname or URL of my ip address of server. MDM Geo-Tracking Map
On the Geo-Tracking tab of an MDM managed device, it shows the recent latitude and longitude of the device. Underneath it says that I can configure Google map to locate the device by downloading the Google plug-in. But the link takes me to instructions on downloading and unzipping an html file. Instructions seem to indicate it should be unzipped to C:\ManageEngine\DesktopCentral_Server\ and it ended up unzipping to C:\ManageEngine\DesktopCentral_Server\devicelocationmap\webapps\DesktopCentral\html\deviceLocationMap.html

How do I change the enrollment when I move a device from one user to another? Do I have to dis-enroll then re-enroll the device? Or, can I change the user specific information: email address; AD user ID; AD password?

Re-Create CSR
Hey guys, So we're planning on testing MDM (just bought the license for it) to manage our mobile ios devices. Problem is when we generated our CSR, we used a corporate email like suggested, it happened to be the same one that also generates helpdesk tickets in servicedesk plus (woops). So our helpdesk and desktop centrals automated messages were in an infinite loop briefly generating tickets for each other after the creation email. Obviously don't want this to happen again, I've disabled notifications
