Recently installed software report
Is there a way to run the report so that it only lists each individual software package once with a summary column of how many computers the software was installed on? Currently, the report has one line per computer per package. Its easy to miss undesirable software that was installed on just one computer because it gets lost in all the noise from all the other installs. For example, "today's" report has 49 lines for me but there were actually only 5 or 6 different packages installed.

Sophos Removal Script not working in DTC but works fine as script
Hi, I have been trying to remove sophos from all my computers to install McAfee. I have a script that when I run normally on a pc will remove sophos no issue so thought great will just add the script to DTC so I setup new software configuration added the script and tested it on a number of computers the script starts off fine stops the services but fails to run the next part of removing the software. I had firefox 52.0 downloaded in my patch store but noticed that last few days 1 pc was failing to install this patch with error Download Success but checksum failed. It is only failing on 1 machine. We are trying to deploy a couple of .exe files to around 30 workstations. For around 3 workstations, one of the .exe files would fail with the error "Access Denied". Hi, I do have a problem with Windows 10 and the boot sequence. Roling out software or patches "at boot time" does not work for days. Scope of Management - AD Sync Settings
Within the SoM Policy I have configured the AD Sync settings to synchronize specific OUs within our domain. I recently modified this and remove a particular OU that contains disabled computer accounts. forced reboot being skipped on deployments
I've created a configuration for deployment using a policy that has a reboot policy to force reboot (both including and excluding servers) and even though I get successful deployments the computers aren't being forced to reboot. I've checked the dcconfigaccess.log and I see that the ENDTIME REBOOT_POLICY for the configuration shows DC_FORCE_REBOOT(skppd). I'm assuming this means the reboot was skipped. How can it be skipped if the reboot is forced ? Am I missing something here ?
Record session time-outs in the Action Log Viewer
Currently when a User logs out of Desktop Central using the Sign Out button, this is recorded in the Action Log Viewer as "User Disconnected". It would be useful for a log entry to be added here when a User session times out due to inactivity. Perhaps a different message so it's obvious this was a time-out and not a decisive log-out.
Why cant I use batch scripts?
Hello, I'm having trouble with custom scripts. I'm trying to use a custom script in the Post-Deployment activities. And I keep getting the same error message: "Invalid command line argument. Consult the Windows Installer SDK for detailed command line help." At first I started with the correct script I wanted to deploy and got that error message. And then I tried it with the most basic script I could make, which is just a batch Hello World: @echo "Hello World" And I still keep getting the same error.

We're just testing out Desktop Central. We're having an issue pushing the agent out via the interface (Unable to get the Agent Status. Operation timed out - logged a call with support a few days ago and still nothing back) But my main query at the moment is this - can you just push out the latest update for a product? Desktop Central MSP - Need to change a distribution server
We have an existing distribution server for an organization, whose machines are all part of Desktop Central MSP. However, we are getting rid of the local distribution server (not the MSP server) and replacing it with a new local distribution server. The question is, will we need to uninstall all the existing agents in DC MSP and re-install them with the new distribution server? Or do we need to point the agents to the new server only? Or is there nothing we need to do? I appreciate the help.

Hello, I'm investigating a way to reduce the Scheduled DB Backup size and discovered that most of the DB backup size is from "conf\CRSData\dc-crs\definitiondata\1.1\" (520MB over 550MB). In there there is datas from 6-8 months ago. I'm not sure what it is (looks like patchs DB and so on). Is it possible to clean this folder?
