Is it possible to restrict few VMs from discovery of a particular ESX host? I don't want them in un-managed state too. Thanks.

Hi, I recently implemented AppMgr in my environment. However, I'm finding difficulties with the following (specific to esxi monitoring): 1. am.mssql.databaseserver.config Error when attempting to create a MSSQL monitor
I'm attempting to create a MSSQL monitor for a named SQL Server instance, using SQL Server Authentication. The 'Test Credential' button returns a cryptic 'Failed. am.mssql.databaseserver.config' error. I have numerous other SQL Server monitors that I've configured successfully using identical methods. Cannot find a clue what the issue is by checking SQL Server Error or Windows Event logs. I also checked the Appmanager stderr logs - I do see the following error messages immediately after testing

Hi If you want to use the replaceable tag $RCAMESSAGE to build a a e-mail action, the ManageEngine tag has an "end of comment" XML tag in. Ex: Root Cause : Health of SERVERA is critical. Hi If I use $HOSTNAME as replaceable tags, I get the hostname in FQDN-format (ex hostxyz.managedengine.com). If there a way to only get the display name field og the hostname without FQDN ? /regards Jan
App manager isn't taking my username and password
Hello, I just installed the app manager to go along with OpManager. After installation, when I select the APPS tag, it prompts me for a username and password. I put it in but it keeps saying it's invalid. Can someone please tell me why it keeps doing that?

Hello...I would like to request the following features be added to AS/400 monitoring: Ability to setup thresholds and alarms on individual jobs running longer than a certain amount of time, in minutes or seconds. server monitoring
The server monitors contain most of what is needed for administartive management ( cpu, memory, swap, disk, process, services ). but is lacking one last core piece, monitoring of the nic traffic on the servers. the nic traffic is extermly important when trying to troubleshoot application performance issue's. I would prefer not to have to resort to a third party for nic traffic monitoring as most of what we need in already in one central dashboard ( aplication manager ). is this on the road map?

In Applications Manager, it would be nice to be able to manually and immediately place a monitor into maintenance mode (similar to the "downtime scheduler") with a "single click" of a link on the monitor's page. Please add to list of features to implement, the ability to set a time limit on how long a monitor is 'Unmanaged'. Monitoring log files
I am attempting to monitor our log files for various Exception patterns, however I only want an alert to be raised if the Exceptions occur a specific number of times over a given period: for example, 20 times in a period of 15 minutes. I started by creating a File monitor that looked for the contents of the Exception, however whenever the exception occurred, an alert was immediately raised showing the file as "unavailable". Hi, I am evaluating the AppManager for VMware monitoring. While generating Trend Analysis reports for ESX hosts I am getting below mentioned error. Configuring "Availabiliy status" of a Webservice monitor
I've added a Webservice monitor in AppManager11. Then I've defined a Threshold for Webservice Response time. when this threshold is met, AppManager shows an "Health Alarm" .. which is ok. For some reason, when this threshold alarm occurs i need the Webservice's availability also get affected. how can i do that ? Regards,

Windows Process Monitor Availability
I am using a Windows monitor to monittor resources on a Windows 2008 server. I have enabled a few processes to monitor as well. One process in particular does not run on the server 24/7. This process runs only at certain occasions. Incorrect IP Address on Monitor
We have an IIS monitor setup that constantly shows that the resource is down. The hostname displays the incorrect IP address. Next to that in parentheses is the correct IP. I have tried deleting the monitor and recreating it and it still shows the wrong IP and that the monitor is down. We have a windows monitor setup for the same host and there are no problems with the IP address for that. Any help/advice would be appreciated.
Total allocated bytes show wrong values from oracle tablespace monitoring
We are testing Application Manager and some of our oracle tablespace monitoring is showing wrong values for Total Allocated Bytes. Below is the image of a problem monitor. See the users tablespace is showing 32,767 Allocated Bytes and only 640 Allocated Blocks(that is the correct size of tablespace 5Mb).

Guys, How are you doing? I'm trying to install the SAP Server & CCMS plugin but I didn't make this happens. I did exactly what the Prerequisite told me to do but I haven't result yet. When I try to add a monitor after this procedure it appears the following message: "SAP Java Connector not found in the classpath." Hi, Is AppManager able to collect data from 2 different ports on the same host ? If yes, how ? Central monitor management for enterprise edition
The enterprise edition should come with centralized monitor management for ALL functions you can do on a poller. Your Site24x7 platform does so why not AppManager. We pay a considerable amount a year for the platform and this is a glaring problem.
