Hi, How can we automate Execution of MBean Operations type actions through JBoss Serevr type monitor? I have added a JBoss Server type monitor and also associated the Execute MBean Operatins type action with it. Will this action will fetch data from the server at each polling interval? Problem with Appmanager does not diplay data
I have a problem with AppManager, add a Vcenter, the Vcenter has ESX´s with virtual machines, was monitored for 6 days but a day7 failure, data not show en the monitors(CPU, Memory, Net, Disk), availability only displayed on the monitor What is happening?

I've configured Monitors and created actions and threshold profiles in one of my machines, Applications Manager 11 build 11210 with MySQL on ws2003 32 bit. Is there a way to export this data (alarms, monitors & threshold profiles) to some file, which can then be imported onto another application manager in a new server with Applications Manager 11 with pgsql on ws2008 r2(64bit)?
I cant see one of my virtual machines under my esx server
Hi everyone, I have an issue with a ESX server, this server is discovered by app manager, but it missed one virtual machine, even I tried so many times to rediscover the ESX server but nothing happens. The missed machine is up and running, actually it is monitored at op manager, so this is weird because is not possible that the monitoring is working for it in op manager but app manager not. Please give some help with this! Thanks!
Restore monitor's data when change date on the APM server.
Hi again, We made a mistake changing the date to october instead september (really sorry) and fit soon but and now graphs does not show properly data showing October as the last date. Is any way to delete data on graphs or other way to restore data as before. Thanks regards Israel.

html e-mail actions
hi, i'm a user of Applications Manager and i've always had difficulty getting the email actions to send properly formatted html. i always get the raw html in my emails. And after updating the email action and going back in i always see the encoded text. No matter what, plain txt, html or both. my outlook does allow receipt of html email. is the smtp server cleansing the message or something? can someone please help thanks in advance

Hi all, I'm testing appManager for further use it in application monitoring, it already installed on a server the when i log off my account to server, i can't access the application again, that mean to access it through my client machine, i need to be connect to hosting server restart the application and then log in into the application, then after i can access it through my client machine, i would like to ask if someone can tell me what to fix that issue! Group Availability showing as Zero even though all monitors show 100% availability and health
I have an issue that has only started recently. Multiple AppManager groups are showing as zero availability, however all the monitors in the group are showing 100% for both health and availability. I shut everything down and ran repairDB, which found a range of issues which appear to have been corrected. When running it a second time everything appeared to be ok. This hasn't fixed the issue. Any idea's? Running AppManager 8610 / Windows 2003 Server / Embedded MySQL DB.

Applications Manager broken after upgrading 11020 -> 11040 ->11220 - RESOLVED
upgraded as per instructions to 11040 and then 11220. Following startup logged in ok, home page comes up ok. However Monitors page bring up HTTP 500 Internal server error. migration to v11 with mysql database
we have problems migrating to v11... up yet we are using a mysql database but in v11 you must select postgreesql or mysqlserver. When whe try to restore the mysql database the aplication crashs... is there any way to migrate the database mysql to v11? regards!

Log File monitor with many rules
How can I create a monitor where the exchange date is at the begining of the file name? For example The chain of these log files are like this: 280713_1205_FULL_autocold.log 290713_1205_FULL_autocold.log 300713_1205_FULL_autocold.log I need to monitor the last log file with these rules .- Find string "terminated successfully without warnings" I know how to create the string rule, but for the monitor? I need to use: *autocold.log"? or wich is the correct syntaxis?

Dashboard / Widget Size / Font / General skin tuning
I am trying to setup a nice dashboard for a monitoring screen (big LCD screen) however I am having some issues with Font size and the size of the graphs... Is there an easy way to tune this or create a general custom skin I could apply to a user so the dashboard looks readable from a distance? Right now if I run the display at 1080p the fonts become too small but the graphs fit, and if I run at 720p the fonts are readable but the graphs squish the screen and I can get very little info up there.

Hi, we successfully configured AppMan to log calls automatically in Service Desk Plus when Alerts are triggered. A great enhancment to our monitoring. However, in setting it up in Appman, the only SDP account that it could use (to import and connect to SDP) was the ADMIN account. We had previously removed this, as I had admin privilages. We recreated it, and it worked, but it also uses up one of our 10 licenses for SDP. Am I correct in saying that the ADMIN account is the onl one that will

Hi, I want to set the threshold in such a way that say for example the value of an attribute (messagecount) is 100 and after 2-3 polling intervals, if the value is still the same, then send alert coz no new messages have come, something is wrong. AppManager won't start
After a reboot over the weekend to install windows patches, Applications Manager will not start. I can't see anything in the log files, and subsequent attempt to start the screen has stuck at "Initializing Server". Event log contains multiple entries from "Interactive Service detection stating "As device or application has requested attention. Device or application: C:\Program Files (x86)\ManageEngine\AppManager11\working\wrapper.exe. Message title C:\Program Files (x86)\ManageEngine\AppManager11\working\wrapper.exe."
Execute Program - Action not working
Hi, We have configured an Action of type 'Execute Program' in Manage Engine Application Manager, so that a batch file will be executed when the corresponding action is triggred. The problem is, the batch file is executed when the action is triggered but the process didn't get completed. Can anyone please help us here

Greetings, In Applications Manager 10 under Admin --> Enable Reports there is a Downtime Summary Report. Options for this report are to simply Enable or Disable, and then schedule the time and e-mail address to send to. We like the output from this report.
