Issues I'm having with ESXi monitoring

Hi, I recently implemented AppMgr in my environment. However, I'm finding difficulties with the following (specific to esxi monitoring): 1. AppMgr will monitor all VMs automatically once you add a new host. This is causing a problem, as it discovers all, even the powered off machines ( I have several machines for testing, and others when cloning a vm). 2. I add every machine as a windows or Linux even though it's added as a VM , this I believe is utilizing my licenses. 3. Because of vmotion, if I have a vim that is on as unmanaged for specific reasons (eg. Development system), vmotion moves the vim between hosts. When this happens, if it was unmanaged, it will get managed again, which is a hassle, as alarms and so on starts showing up. I need help coming around these issues please. Awaiting your guidance,,,
