Add AND Remove Users from Groups based on fields
I have a automation setup to add people to a security / distribution group based on their department. However when their department changes it adds them to the new departments security group and leaves them in the old. Is there a way to have it remove them from the old as well?
Migrating from MS SQL to MS SQL
Does anyone know how to point Exchange Reporter, AD SelfService, AD Manager, AD Audit to a new SQL server after the initial migration has already been done? We are migrating to a new SQL server and all of our programs are running on SQL (not PostGRE). I can easily back them up and restore them to the new SQL server, but I can't figure out how to point the programs to the new SQL server. I tried the changeDB.bat, but it doesn't work since the "DB already exists".

Hi, I have a new install of ADM 6.6. Logged in as the admin I can see the dashboard and the various charts. However, when my technician logs in, the dashboard is blank. How do I enable him to be able to see the charts as well?
Automatons - Schedule 'between the hours of'
I don't know if i'm missing the obvious but is it possible to schedule automation's say between the hours of say 09:00 to 21:00? for example:- Automation 1 needs to execute:- Monday to Friday Every 30 minutes Between 09:00 and 21:00 I can see the option to select the days for the automation to run but It appears the only time option is single specified time. Custom template not the default on both domains
Hi there, Currently we have a 2 domain 5 tech license I need to give Servicedesk access to perform certain tasks over two domains. I have created new user templates for both domains however I can only tick one or the other as default. This means that when I change domain to create user from the default, the selected template is called System Template and not the customised one I have created. I can select it from the list but am trying to make this as easy to use as possible. Can you help me

G Suite setup
Sooo I think I followed the setup for the G Suite setup. I was able to get through all of the Google steps, but when I try to setup the ADManager Plus end, I am getting stuck. I cannot figure out what to use as the User Name. I figure it is the name before the @ in the Service Account EMail. I have tried it with spaces instead if dashes. and every variation I can think of. Any help is appreciated.

Hi All.... I'm curious how many of you allow ADManager Plus to be reachable from the outside world? With the new 2FA authentication added to ADManager Plus, I've been giving it more thought to make it easier for me and my other tech's to get to it. Half of me though worries about security and what might happen if there was a vulnerability. I'm interested in what other SysAdmins do and what your best practices might be... Thanks!
Error on Import to AD
Hi When I do a bulk import from a CSV file to Active Directory I get the following error: Successfully Updated the UserSetting Values for Custom Attributes : Error In Setting Attributes, The specified directory service attribute or value does not exist - Error Code : 8007200a I have checked all of the fields and I am sure they match up. Furthermore it would appear all of the imported information is correctly populated. Does anybody know why this might happen? Gary

ADManager: Cannot Connect To Exchange Server
Whenever I try to create a mailbox for an existing user, I receive the message "Cannot Connect to Exchange Server" when applying to operation on the user account. Is there a problem with a configuration or installation of ADManager. Does the exchange console need to be installed on the server?
Computer template - name formats and drop down lists
In our computer template we have required location and would like to use a drop down list similar to, but not identical to, the office drop down list for the user template. Can AD Manager Plus create and manage such a drop down list? Also, we have a specific format for our computer names with a portion that should be selected from a drop down list. Does AD Manager Plus support formats for the computer name field as it does for usernames and email addresses?

O365 sync issues
Hi all, When creating accounts and attempting to license them in Azure, all appears well but the license info never comes across. The accounts are setup with DirSync and they appear in the Azure portal - they're just unlicensed. Under Admin - Office 365 - the account appears fine and if you enter the password is takes it without issue: If I then click on the modify option I get the following: Again, if I enter the password all appears OK. The Azure AD module is installed on the server in question
Changes made to a request after te request was added
Hi, I am trialing this product and have found something think could be improved. Once a requestor requests a user, it goes to a reviewer to review, and either approve or reject. Lets say, as a reviewer, I decide some information is incorrect, I am able to correct the information in the request, approve it, which then moves it to the point where a technician will submit the changes. This is all good functionality, however, for accountability, auditability it would be good if any changes were recorded

ADManager server using a lot of disk space
Hi, The disk space usage for our ADManager server has increased over the years. Currently the folder size for ADManager plus stands at 30GB. I have see high usage in the below list of folders located at C:\ManageEngine\ADManager Plus\. Backup 2.7GB logs 2.5GB mysql 16.5GB Patch 3.5GB temp 1.7GB Four of these 5 folders seem that could use some cleanup. However, the mysql folder, though carrying the database, but would 16.5GB size make sense for an ADManager instance? Can any maintenance jobs be run
