We're looking to automate our new user set up process. What I'd like is for our users to hit a web page, type in the info, select some applications that this user will need, then the request gets submitted and if approved would create the account and make them group members of different groups based off the application they selected. Hello, We have just purchased Ad Manager and we are about to install the software. We already have Ad Audit Plus installed on a dedicate machine, a windows Server. We were wondering if we could install Ad Manager on the same server, because it seems to me both products are modules of the same software solution. Bulk import photos
As a disclaimer, I an not the AD Manager plus person for my company. I'm the SDP and Analytics Plus guy. That being said, we are wanting to import our badge pictures as our SDP and Exchange 365 as both a one time and an ongoing process. I can get the .jpg files to a local network folder. Is there a script (powershell or otherwise) that I can use/schedule to bring them into ADmanager and then have Admanager push them to SDP and Exchange 365? Add users to group based on e-mail address?
Hello, Can I have a .csv file that is just a list of e-mail addresses (whicih happen to match the UserPrincipalName for users in our environment) and add those users a Group? I've tried "logonName" as CSV header and that doesn't work either. I don't want our admin to have to manage a list of samaccountnames or Distinguished Name entries to enable automation of a distribution list. It would be easier if they could just have a .csv file with userPrincipalheader and have the AD Group Automation add

How to create a local technician?
Hi Everyone, I am trying to create the technician for the domain user modification. When i select to create a new technician, i only can select the domain user. Since this new technician will own and use by some people. Is it possible to create a local technician without choosing any domain user. Applying a template to an existing Account
I remember this being discussed a few years ago but it was said that it was on the road map to be an added feature. It, however, never got added. An important feature for AD Manager Plus would be to allow a template to be applied to an existing user account like it during a new account creation process. Is there any idea when this feature will be added. It's been 3 years since this was last discussed.
Reset Password options
We use ADManager 5.2.0 (build 5210) and we would like to know if there is a way to limit what a person can do on the password reset screen? At our company it is common that users must change their password at next logon if they forgot there password. On the right site of the screen it now set to N/A, can we change this to default Yes so that our helpdeskstaff cannot change this?
Lastname upper with char management
Hello, I'm trying to create a Naming format that transform lastname in upper case, delete spaces and manage special char. Example: LastName: O'Connor Test Naming Format: OCONNORTEST Upper Case and spaces management are OK but I can't find how to delete " ' ". I tried to use the option "Remove umlaut accents, add a new accent removal pattern like " ' " => " " But there is a blank (Result: O CONNORTEST) (the option remove all spaces doesn't seem to work with this rule) How can I handle this? Remove (not replace) character using a naming format
I'm searching for a way to be able to remove some character like the apostrophe from the logonname, email and so on. Technically they are accepted by AD Manager and Active directory but we dont want them. By example if i have the user John D'aléa My current naming format that is first 5 of the last name + first 2 of the first name will provide d'alejo We dont want the apostrophe so i need a rule to remove it so the end result will be dalejo or daleajo I tried doing some replacement with the umlaut

Little problems whith the trial version
Hello, I am actually using the trial version of ADManager Plus in order to buy a license in a few weeks. But I'm having some little problems when doing some tasks. I wanted to know if those problems are bugs or if they are restrictions due to the trial version. Here is a little list of my different issues : When I am trying to make a report from all my users. I can't add the column corresponding to the streetAddress of the Active Directory. When I am trying to import photos from a shared location.

Automatic Balance Mailbox store
Good day, Currently when creating users on exchange 2010 we have a policy so that exchange automatically balances the accounts across mailbox stores. This is to prevent a data store from getting full and crashing. When creating accounts in ADManager you have to pick a mailbox store. Is there away to disable this so our policy can select the store?
ADManager Report Synchronization with Active Directory
Hi, I've few items like Locked Out Users, Disabled Users, etc in the homepage of ADmanager set for all the support persons. But it seems the synchronization of ADmanager with Active Directory is happening only once in 1hour. Since we are planning to deploy ADManager in production, this will affect the real-time work. Can a user account be unlocked without turning on Bulk User Modification? I don't another way. If I turn on the Bulk option, it then applies to other attributes that I have allowed for single user modification.

Helpdesk Audit Report
We have a scheduled Helpdesk Audit Report to run weekly. I recall reading these reports and when a user reset a password it would show the password it was reset to. Recently it is not showing the password but a string of letters and numbers. Has this changed in an update? We did recently upgrade from 6.4 to 6.5.4 build 6540 in January. Thanks.
HOW TO Bind to dedicated IP address
Hi Team, I'm trying to configure ADManagerPlus, ADSelfServicePlus and PasswordManagerPro to use dedicated IP addresses and all use HTTPS/SSL. I appear to have successfully configured PMPro however the ADManager & ADSelfService refuse to cooperate. I've attempted to edit ..\conf\system_properties.conf and added the line bindaddress=<ipaddress> without success. Plus the access_log.txt files show a lot of these errors when I configure the IP binding "- /servlet/ADSMServerStatusServlet C75AE9F78FB7E77EA705B3F159042DE9

How can one modify the time that ADManager Plus synchronizes with the domain to update users, groups, etc? Maybe even a way update the different objects at different time intervals?
Office 365
Hi I get the following error when trying to connect to Office 365. The term "Connect-MsolService' is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or operable program. Check the spelling of the name, or if a path was included, verify that the path is correct and try again". All the Azure components have been installed on the server where ADManager Plus is running and I have run the "connect-msolservice" and entered the credentials. Can anyone assist please. Gary
