Unable to add new technicians - Technician is now showing on the ADD Technician list
Hi there! I´m having a issue about adding more technicians to the AD Delegation at ADManager Plus. The user is on the active directory and I can see it on the search results, but when I try to search for it on the Select Technician screen it´s not showing. This issue is happening with more than one user. Some are showing and some are not. Could anyone help me? Hi All, Sadly, ManageEngine still hasn't moved forward on the Office 365 user management and deployment within ADManager Plus. Creating basic ‘cloud’ based users with a mailbox, just about works.But as many enterprise users amongst us we have a more enhanced setup which isn’t supported by the current version of AD Manager Plus. Powershell script after user creation
I know the subject has been seen before but what I am trying to accomplish I haven't been able to find. So here is what I am trying to do: Have my helpdesk team create a user, once completed I want the following to be completed. I want the $uac populated from admanager and $Identity populated from admanager. Now I have read that $ARG1 can supply the $uac but what do I need to supply for the $Identity..basically automating my o365 mail creation. If you have a better idea please let me know....this

Custom scripts How-To
There are certain actions that I want to be able to trigger at the rule assignment stage of the workflow. I see where I can choose a custom script but I don't see how to define the script. I can write a script to do what I need but where do I put it and how do I reference it from the app? Is there a way I can pass values to it or are values already being passed by default? I don't see where this is covered in the documentation so if it's there and you can point me to it that's fine too. Thanks! Jack

How can I define mandatory fields in AD Manager user creation templates? There is already "First Name" defined as mandatory, how can I define a field as mandatory myself?

Hi, I'm wondering if there is a way to customize the User templates so we can add / remove fields that are relevant. Additionally, is it possible to have any sort of if-then logic built into the template or user-account creation process. For example: I select a template and fill out say, the department information. Based on that department selection information, it drops the user object into a certain OU based on what the tech selected.

I would like to produce a report containing nested members of the local administrators group on a specific computer. If there are any AD user accounts or AD security groups which are members of the local admnistrators group, those should be listed in the report. In AD Mgmt Tab, I click on Contact Management, then choose Modify a Single Contact, and choose Modify the specific contact. On the Exchange Tab, it says No Mail Properties Defined. How do I go about mail enabling the contact? I am running the professional version. Thanks.

Create Single User issue
I have a helpdesk technician with all roles (except Super Admin) who is having a problem when attempting to create a new user. When selecting the Account tab, the password options are gray and he cannot change the default selection (Same as user logon name). This fails due to Password Complexity Requirements. The New User creation template that we have is configured to use either Random Password or Type a password. Why does the helpdesk technician not get the option to choose one of these?
