ServiceDesk Plus-Enterprise - "Web page cannot be found"
Hello all, We've recently purchased the Professional product. After installing and attempting to login using http://localhost:8080 or http://<remote server name>:8080, the url returns a 400. Verified the following: - Database created (SQL Server 2014) and able to connect from the ManageEngine server. - Port 8080 is open and accessible from a remote connection to the ManageEngine server on TCP. - ManageEngine service is running. What are we missing? The wrapper.log file looks clean, contents below:

Start mail fetching automatically
Hello, Is there any way to accomplish this? Via a script or something within the servicedesk database? When fetching stops for us, it is normally early in the morning during a VM snapshot, since that stops the VM's connection temporarily and causing the mail fetching to stop. Are there any scripts, API calls, or database changes we can make to start mail fetching so we can possibly run it on a schedule to re-start mail fetching after the Snapshot, or incorporate retries into mail fetching so that
Live chat is not functioning - SDP 9.3 Build 9332
Hi experts, My live chat is not functioning. I have configured the settings as per link below: https://help.servicedeskplus.com/configurations/helpdesk/configuring_chat_settings.html During testing, online technicians didn't get messages sent to support group by requester. The messages became missed chat as seen in chat settings by Administrator. Is there any pre-requisite steps need to be done such as open firewall port etc? NTLM redirection failed to login page
Is there any one experiencing this when you delete the appended conversation entry from request? We are on 9413 release. When we were on 9410 it goes to blank may be just not seen the message. It happened when I delete the appended conversation entry from email sent to the pop accountant. one of those out of office message or duplicated one. Cannot complete child task while parent task is still not completed
Can somebody explain the rationale behind this error message I received when trying to close a child task: "Cannot complete child task while parent task is still not completed." I believe this is backwards. Child tasks should be closed before parent tasks; only when all child tasks are closed should a parent task be closed. Certainly this is the way the dependencies are displayed in the Dependencies Map: Projects are dependent on Milestones which are dependent on Parent Tasks which are dependent
ChangeOwner permissions to Edit Change - 9.4 9409
Hello, we have ServiceDesk Plus Enterprise 9.4 9409 with MSSQL.. On Changes module, we have the ChangeOwner Role who has Edit permissions on all stages. At the Close stage we need to fill a Change field of the Change details. Based on this post: https://pitstop.manageengine.com/portal/community/topic/change-permissions-not-working-9307-build , the Edit button must appear on all stages. However, the Edit button is not given when viewing the Change record or in the Change details. Thank you.

Greetings, I have SD+ installed in my Dev Environment and one of the selling points I need to demonstrate before management will purchase the product is integration with our On PREM JIRA install. I was able to get SD+ to make a ticket in JIRA however and I get the pop-up that says "Ticket created with Id: 23508 and Key: CRM-2619" however the JIRA_ISSUE_ID and JIRA_ISSUE_KEY fields do not get populated in the SD+ Incident ticket. I am also unable to get the Second half of the equation to work with
Tickets automatically re-opened when sent to alias of primary email address
I am new to Service Desk and have been trying to troubleshoot an ongoing issue that we have been having. Periodically when we try to close a ticket the ticket is automatically re-opened within minutes. I have finally seemed to identify a pattern. It seems that this occurs when someone outside our organization sends the original request to an alias of our primary ticket address. My assumption is that it relates to Service Desk Plus including the alias email address in the close notification.

REPLY TO REQUESTS FROM MULTIPLE GROUPS FAILING (Service DeskPlus 8.0)
I have two groups on my service desk (IT Support and Facilities Support) The IT support email account is the primary account and was setup in the mail server settings. I aliased an email address for the Facilities Support under the IT support email account. I am able to receive requests for the two groups. I receive notifications and can reply to requests from the IT support group (because the email in the Outgoing tab of the mail server settings is the IT support email) I am unable to receive notifications

Cleaning system log locks SDP
Hi, Yesterday we had an incident with SDP when i tried to delete all entries in the system log. The CPU-usage went to 95-99% on our server and stayed there for 30 minutes until i restarted the SDP-service manually. The system was unusable for all users during this time. What is the best approach for keeping the system log entries to a more reasonable amount? We now have 2492587 entries dating from 2016/10 until today. How can I restrict emails from other domains than mine if Exchange configured to have sender name in [Sender] and email address in [From] field, but servicedesk spam filter can't use [From] field - only [Sender] allowed?
NTLM pass-through authentication doesnt work on Chrome
Hi, I just installed SDP. I've implemented pass-through authentication, it works on Firefox and IE. But in the company, the browser used by default is Chrome, and is a requisition that the users don't need to type theirs credentials every time they used SDP When I open the SDP site, Chrome just redirect to login page. Assigning assets to more than one user
We have a need to assign assets to more than one user as we have a lot roles are shared between 2 people. Only one is on site at any particulare time but we need to be able to have users logging calls based on username and asset. I can't seem to find any way to achieve this. Am I missing something obvious?
No replies in history request from CC users without accounts
Hello everyone! We've got problem with replies that we don't see in request history. When emails are sending by requester or technician there's no problem, but when replies are sent by the users, who were added to CC by requester and who didn't have accounts in our system - we don't see any respond from them. SD Windows Agent
Sorry for the cross post. I've realized I asked this question in the wrong forum. Also, I've edited the question and I hope the question makes a little more sense. We have recently intergraded DC with SDP. All our workstations have the DC Agent installed and now realizing that there is also a Windows Agent for SDP. I can't seem to find much information regarding what this is for, and if we need to install this agent on our workstations as well as the DC agent. Thanks!

The title is the error we're getting after turning on the OnBehalfOf field in ME. The only two SQL cmds we ran was to turn the field to true and set the Show OBO users to All. The users are populating in the field/we can select them from the list. Not sure why we're getting the error though. Any help would be appreciated. -D
Printing requests and worklog
Hi, When printing requests containing text in the description field in the worklog we have noticed that the text gets cut off if it contains too many characters. Tracking of Service Catalog and Incident template changes
Someone in our environment had removed custom fields within a incident template, and the information within that field was lost for all existing tickets. We are looking to see if there is a method to see who made that change on that template? Also, is the information truly gone, or can I get it back if I add that field back into the template? If a logging feature is not available, and there is no way to secure templates from being editing by elevated admins, can you add this to your roadmap? Thanks,
Passthrough authentication not working with a server alias
I've recently enabled passthrough authentication on our SDP instance (9.3 build 9300) and whilst passthrough authentication works fine when I browse direct to the server name, when we use the DNS alias for the server (a *much* friendlier and easier to use name) I either get a pop-up asking for my username and password or get redirected to the logon page. Is there somewhere in the configuration that I can specify a URL alias so that passthrough authentication will work using this URL?

Servicedesk hangs at "Application layer started..."
I am trying to install ServiceDesk Plus 8.2 on Windows Server 2008 R2 together with SQL Server 2008 R2, but when start the ServiceDesk server it hangs at "Application layer started..........................." Buenas Tardes Una vez mas necesito su ayuda. Como saben las plantillas de incidencia traen el campo 'Sitio' como predeterminado. Nosotros por nuestra organizacion tenemos una regla de campo y formulario creada en cada una de nuestras plantilla poniendo al campo 'Sitio' como obligatorio de forma tal q la incidencia no se pueda llenar mientras que ese campo no este lleno. Esta regla funciono perfectamente hasta hace unos dias. La volvi a configurar pero no se aplica a la hora de enviar los fomularios
