I'm trying to use FAFR to hide the item field if a specific category is selected (on field change). Unfortunately, once the subcategory field is selected the item field is displayed once again. Maybe I'm missing something so I would appreciate some help.
View asset history issue
Hi SD version 9.4 build 9414 When I try view asset history tab I get error. UPD. This is strange, but asset history tab show without error for assets with Disposed state.... UPD 2. With disabled "Pass-through authentication" option I get error as screenshot "Capture-2.jpg". Update requesters E-Mail with API
Hi, Trying to write a PS-script that update requesters E-Mail with the SDP-API. The script works and I'm able to update other parameters, for example "Mobile", but not the E-Mail parameter even though i get a response stating that the result was succesfull. Service Desk Plus Upgrade Failure
I am trying to upgrade our test system of Service Desk Plus, I have successfully installed a few patches but when trying to go from version 9300 to 9335 it fails and the following error appears in the log file: java.sql.BatchUpdateException: The INSERT statement conflicted with the FOREIGN KEY constraint "CustomReportFilterColumns_FK1". The conflict occurred in database "servicedesk_TEST_NEW", table "dbo.CustomReport_Details", column 'REPORTID'.

Comments Not Displaying Correctly in Reports
Hello, when we run our weekly project reports the milestone/project comments are displayed with extra line breaks and occasionally some HTML code. This just started since upgrading to version 9414. I've attached an example of how it looks when entered into project/milestone comments vs how it looks in our report. We are on version 9414 and use MSSQL. Service Desk Plus - Notification Rules
Hey There, I have setup the free version of service desk plus (5 technicians) I have Notification rules setup eg: Acknowledge requester by e-mail when a new request is received. They don't seem to be sending out automated replies. Is this functionality available on the free edition? Hello, I'm trying to migrate ServiceDesk Plus from a Win2008 R2 server to a Win 2016 server, both running 9414. The backup from the Win2008 R2 server says it has completed successfully but when trying to restore the data on the Win2016 server, I get a message saying "filelist.txt does not exist in the selected backup file." The backup folder that was created has six files part_1.data through part_6.data. I'm trying to use the part_1.data as the selected backup file. I did take another backup that
Change a Date/Time field back to blank
Hello, we have ServiceDesk Plus Enteprise 9.4 (9409). In the Change Module we have an "Additional Field" of Date/Time. In this field we have put a date/time some days ago, but now we want to change it to blank (N/D) and we can't do it. Is it posible? Thank you.
Update without running a backup
I ran a backup by hand last night. Today then I try to update it is telling me a backup is recommended and trying to run one. Is it possible to force not to back anything up when I'm doing an update? I'm on build 7611 and I need quite a few updates.
Upgrade to 9400 without no backup
Hello to all, is there any way to upgrade to 9400 build without force a backup? In old versions we could add this line to disable a backup during upgrade: -Dtier-type=BE -DSDBackUp=false Could do something similar in new version? Thanks in advance
Unable to remove date from field

Graphical glitches, preview boxes
Hi, This happens for me a couple of times per day in the request module. After I've hovered over a request the preview boxes gets stuck like the screenshot below shows. Last time it happened right after switching from the admin module to the request module. It also occurs when clicking the "Add/remove columns" if I've hovered over a request just before. Windows 10, IE11, SDP 9317, MSSQL. (It also happens in MS Edge)

Start mail fetching automatically
Hello, Is there any way to accomplish this? Via a script or something within the servicedesk database? When fetching stops for us, it is normally early in the morning during a VM snapshot, since that stops the VM's connection temporarily and causing the mail fetching to stop. Hi experts, My live chat is not functioning. The messages became missed chat as seen in chat settings by Administrator. Is there any pre-requisite steps need to be done such as open firewall port etc? NTLM redirection failed to login page
Is there any one experiencing this when you delete the appended conversation entry from request? We are on 9413 release. When we were on 9410 it goes to blank may be just not seen the message. It happened when I delete the appended conversation entry from email sent to the pop accountant. one of those out of office message or duplicated one. Can somebody explain the rationale behind this error message I received when trying to close a child task: "Cannot complete child task while parent task is still not completed." I believe this is backwards. Child tasks should be closed before parent tasks; only when all child tasks are closed should a parent task be closed. Certainly this is the way the dependencies are displayed in the Dependencies Map: Projects are dependent on Milestones which are dependent on Parent Tasks which are dependent
ChangeOwner permissions to Edit Change - 9.4 9409
Hello, we have ServiceDesk Plus Enterprise 9.4 9409 with MSSQL.. On Changes module, we have the ChangeOwner Role who has Edit permissions on all stages. At the Close stage we need to fill a Change field of the Change details. Based on this post: https://pitstop.manageengine.com/portal/community/topic/change-permissions-not-working-9307-build , the Edit button must appear on all stages. However, the Edit button is not given when viewing the Change record or in the Change details. Thank you.

Greetings, I have SD+ installed in my Dev Environment and one of the selling points I need to demonstrate before management will purchase the product is integration with our On PREM JIRA install. I was able to get SD+ to make a ticket in JIRA however and I get the pop-up that says "Ticket created with Id: 23508 and Key: CRM-2619" however the JIRA_ISSUE_ID and JIRA_ISSUE_KEY fields do not get populated in the SD+ Incident ticket. Tickets automatically re-opened when sent to alias of primary email address
I am new to Service Desk and have been trying to troubleshoot an ongoing issue that we have been having. Periodically when we try to close a ticket the ticket is automatically re-opened within minutes. I have finally seemed to identify a pattern. It seems that this occurs when someone outside our organization sends the original request to an alias of our primary ticket address. My assumption is that it relates to Service Desk Plus including the alias email address in the close notification.

REPLY TO REQUESTS FROM MULTIPLE GROUPS FAILING (Service DeskPlus 8.0)
I have two groups on my service desk (IT Support and Facilities Support) The IT support email account is the primary account and was setup in the mail server settings. I aliased an email address for the Facilities Support under the IT support email account. I am able to receive requests for the two groups. I receive notifications and can reply to requests from the IT support group (because the email in the Outgoing tab of the mail server settings is the IT support email) I am unable to receive notifications

Cleaning system log locks SDP
Hi, Yesterday we had an incident with SDP when i tried to delete all entries in the system log. The CPU-usage went to 95-99% on our server and stayed there for 30 minutes until i restarted the SDP-service manually. The system was unusable for all users during this time. What is the best approach for keeping the system log entries to a more reasonable amount? We now have 2492587 entries dating from 2016/10 until today. How can I restrict emails from other domains than mine if Exchange configured to have sender name in [Sender] and email address in [From] field, but servicedesk spam filter can't use [From] field - only [Sender] allowed?
NTLM pass-through authentication doesnt work on Chrome
Hi, I just installed SDP. I've implemented pass-through authentication, it works on Firefox and IE. But in the company, the browser used by default is Chrome, and is a requisition that the users don't need to type theirs credentials every time they used SDP When I open the SDP site, Chrome just redirect to login page.
