Since upgrading to SD+ build 8107 mail fetching time is incorrect
Hi Since I upgraded to SD+ build 8107 my mail fetching time is showing as BST and not GMT. I am now running build 8109, as I found that there was an update available yesterday and thought this may resolve the issue. I have run through tzupdater process and still I am having the same issue. This is causing mails not being automatically read in to SD+. Many thanks

We are living in Sweden and using ÅÄÖ in our name and we have a problem with that when we are creating an new issue. Everything seems fine we pick up the user from search button, it picks up all we need as phone etc. But when we click somewhere else the data disapear only the name is there. When we create the issue we get a msg the user doesnt excist do you want to create it. If we click create nothing happends and the issue is registred on the user that we picked from the beginning. Hello, sometimes, the dynamic menus will not disappear when you take the mouse away. and you must take the mouse over the menu again to get it to disappear. User login problem
We installed ServiceDesk, added 5 local technicians. Then re migrated Active Directory, since doing so it seems to be causing problems for the technicians to login, I had to try local authentication about 50 times before it logged me in. Hi. We now update our SDP distrib (OS linux without X server) from 7605 to latest build. To do this we sequentially applied service packs as described by http://www.manageengine.com/products/service-desk/migration-sequence.html. The latest successful update was from 8000 to 8027. Hi, Trying to install the asset agent manually on my laptop, but the service fails to start. Keeps giving me: "The Manageengine AssetExlporer Agent Service on local computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs." Helpdesk Version 8.0.0 Build 8026 I am running windows 7 64bit. I have already tried uninstalling, re-installing. Uninstall, reboot, then re-install. And re-created agents each time from helpdesk interface.

Manage Engine SD Plus Service Automatically down......
Dear I am facing issue on SD Plus 8.1 build [latest] on OS win2008 Standard Edition. My SD Plus service mostly down unusually , i am unable to access the SD Plus web URL. When i start manually it start the service but after a minute it again stop. Then i restart my server then service work fine for 5 min then again it down. I am facing this issue since 2 days. Search for Request ID in 7611
I've got a couple of instances of SDP running. In 7610, I can search for Request ID in the left hand search (enter keyword) and in the upper Go to (request id). In 7611, I no results are ever returned in the left hand search (enter keyword) when searching on Request ID, but it does work in the upper Go to (request id) box. Please advise if this is by design or a bug? My users don't like change and want to be able to search in BOTH boxes. JJ.

In ASSETS -> RESOURCES -> WORKSTATIONS, my goal was to add a new workstation type called “Thin Clients”. I wanted to import all of our thin clients into that type. But instead of creating a “Workstation Type”, it created a “Resource Type” on the left called “Thin Clients”. Here are the steps that I took. upgraded to 7606: the technician groups are not shown any more
Hello I just upgraded to 7606. Everything works fine, EXEPT that the groups are not shown in the dropdown lists anymore. Here's my debugging: When creating a new request, the groups are available in the 'Group' dropdown list. After selecting the site in the 'Site' dropdown list, the groups disappear. I can not select the group in the 'group' dropdown list any more. The only option is '-- Select Group --' When setting back the site to 'Not associated to any site' the groups become available again
SDP 8026 on Win 2008 R2 64 bit
I can't seem to get this installed. Tried the latest release and it hung on the loading screen at loading application layer.... the changedb bat told me that it would not work with my ver of sql (2008) that I should downgrade to 8026. Microsoft CAL licensing - Can't add requester to 2 CAL software licenses
Hi, I've created 2 software licenses in ServiceDesk with license type 'CAL'. I've found if I add requester to first license then I can't add them to 2nd license. Going forward we have to manage CALs for Exchange, SQL Server and Windows Server. I will need to add requester to 3 licenses if possible. Well I figured since the SDP tech support team isn't going to reply to my support request, maybe I'll have better luck with the forums. Here's the problem: We are excited for the new features in 8.1 and are ready to upgrade however we first ran a test environment to pinpoint any possible problems. hi having a problem with technician notifications you can see from the pic here is what I set our notifications to after a little while, maybe 20 min, I will notice that emails dont seem to work right and when I check, it looks like this notice the lack of quotes and the re-order of names. When this happens, only Joe and Andy get emails, Jim does not. Unable to log in as locally after test migration to Linux
Hi there, We are currently testing a migration of servicedesk 8106 from Windows to Linux. The migration is flawless, however we are unable to log in to the administrator account. We have also tried resetting the password to the admin account, and another local account through the sql back end, but still no luck. One thing we didnt do as a test, was remove any domain / ldap authentication from the live database before moving across to linux. Is there a 'migration guide' available from ManageEngine
