SNMP Manager Porting
Hi there, I am looking for a SNMP manager, which will run on an Embedded Device. I could see documents related to porting Agents to different platforms. requester allowed to view department requests reverting back to only able to see their own
Several requesters are configured to: Requester allowed to view Show only their own requests. Show all their Department requests. Show all their Site requests. However these are reverting back to show only their own requests on a regular basis. What could be causing this?

Date format
I've got page by page for every configuration that is available and no where can I find one of the most rudimentary selections.... How to display the date. For example, in the requests display page, the dates are displayed as Day-Month-Year Time While that's fine for my European brothers, I just looks wrong to me and I'm sorry but I want it to be displayed the standard American way of Month-Day-Year Time Am I missing something here or is it hard coded to display it one way and one way only?

Question about Remote Workstation
Hello - I am in the process of upgrading our copy of ServiceDesk Plus from 7014 and am currently at the 7500 level. After doing this install I noticed that there is a button for 'Remote Control' but when I click on this I receive a popup stating that 'Windows has blocked this software because it cannot verify the publisher.' Using and setting up the mobile client
I tested inputting the address: http://myserver:8080/mc on a handheld device and I get the error: "Cannot Open Page" Safari cannot open the page because of the server cannot be found Now, we've done nothing on our end to make this address accessible from outside our network, however I was told by support that we didn't need to do anything. So I'm confused, what do we need to do on our end to get the mobile client to work?

Hello, We are currently running ServiceDesk+ 7.6.0 Professional on Windows Server 2003 with a SQL 2005 instance on a separate database server. How can I do a software audit report?
I want to produce a list of all our software, which software type it comes under and how many installations of the software exist. The only report which seemed like it could meet these criteria was the matrix table, I could sort the Y axis by Software Type and then Software Name, but the problem is that there is nothing in the X axis drop down so I cannot produce this report. How to filter all apps with 0 installs
I am looking for a method whereby I can select and delete all applications with zero existing installations. We're looking to begin a classification of our applications, but I want to keep the numbers down by removing applications which may no longer be relevant. How can I go about this? Running ServiceDesk on a secondary IP address

Unable to delete report folder / report folders not displayed
Hello all, I've been looking at our report definitions and am looking to remove some custom folders that have been created to house reports. It doesn't appear that this can be done from the application itself and so after reading a few previous posts, I figured that the report definitionss must be contained with in the database somewhere. Hello - I have been tasked with upgrading our copy of ServiceDesk Plus from its current version (7014) to the current level and I have a question regarding the database file or files. We have setup the current server to use a MS SQL database on another server. Is this the only database there is or is there a second one still being maintained on the local server? Robotechnician
Is there a way to remove Robo from the template list once it has been enabled? After realizing that Robo is not very useful at this time I disabled it. However it still displays in the "New Request" templates. I fear that this will be enabled by accident or by a curious tech and then it will be visible to all users. This will cause unnecessary confusion.
Is there a way to 'follow' a particular request?

Been playing with the free version for about three days seing how it will fit the needs of my company. Having trouble setting up a multi part ticket. Example would be a single request that would have to be resolved across two or more predefined departments.
Assign fields to emailed tickets based on "Resent-To" field?
My ServiceDesk Plus admin has tickets created via email assigned to groups and techs based on the To: email address. Is it possible to do the same thing with different mail headers? I'm specifically interested in "Resent-To". While I train my users to use the system, I want to be able to redirect their requests emailed directly to me to SD+. I can't forward them, as then the requester would be me, not to mention the other extraneous and incorrect information that would result. I thought I would
concurrent license
The local reseller just tell me that I can buy a 5 technician license no matter if I have 7 technicians. I told them I will have just 3 or 4 technician working in the application at the same time, and the other will be accessing at different times during the day. Annoying username\password box keeps popping up.
We have the 7.0.0.1 build in place. We use the AD authentication and passthrough enabled. Sometimes all works fine and sometimes we get a Windows (not a ServiceDesk) prompt box asking for username and password. Whatever we type in there doesn't seem to satisfy this and it pops up again. Wherever the browser is pointing to i.e http://servername:8080 is related to the popup box - in this case the box will say "Connect to severname" if we use the IP address e.g. http://10.0.0.30:8080 it'll pop up and

Site not filling for requests submitted via API
We're using the API interface to submit tickets from our Software Installation Self Service system to SD+. We're using the "Operation=AddRequest" function, and we're using the "RequesterEmail" value to identify the requester. However, the "Site" is not filling in for the requester, therefore our site-based rules are not being engaged. Is this a known bug with the API interface?

SQL query string for 'resource cost'
Can someone please assist me with an MS SQL query string that will return the 'resource cost' for an asset as part of a custom report? I've tried using the 'COST' column from the 'ResourceCost' table but I can't seem to get the right string syntax to produce the output. I keep getting variants of the 'Invalid column name' error. Scheduled data load / update?
Hi I'm adding a list of all our current projects into EUDesktop as a new field in Change. This field is a picklist. The project list is held within project server so a sql database... is it possible to set up a scheduled task that will pick up the project lists from project server and load them into EUDesktop? removing the old picklist entries first. Request ID based search has been removed from the request search in the left panel
The above referenced text is listed in the latest Enhancement Service Pack under SD 25985. My question is this: WHY did you remove this functionality?????? My colleagues and I have in the past used this feature to search for issues that may be related via the SD #. For instance, we oftentimes split issues for various reasons, but the 2 separate issues need to stay "related" to each other via the original issue number. Problem with AD Scan
I'm stating using ServiceDesk Plus these week and I'm using version 7 build 7004, but my Domain Scan doesn''t work. For exemple: I selected only one OU that have 7 workstations. Than scan shows successul for all 7 and no error on log. When I go to store, I can see only 5 workstations. Any idea ?? Tks in advance.

scheduled shutdown of ServiceDesk
We are testing SDP 7.0.0/7009 and hae noticed that sometimes the next morning SD is no longer resonding. We suspect that this may have something to do with the nightly backup running on the server. So, I would like to shutdown SDP before the backup starts and then restart it after the backup has finished.
