Newly added assets report
Hi all, I would like to create a report that scans for newly added assets within a site. These assets can be for all equipment, switches, routers, computers, printers, access points, etc. My intentions are to create a report that views the last 7-days worth of newly added assets, 14-day, 21-day, etc. etc. I haven't played with this much so I might figure it out shortly but i wanted to post this out there for any feedback. Thank You.
Add tasks to a project or request directly within the task list using a "Quick Add" feature
I would love to be able to quickly add tasks when sitting down with a project team and do so direclty within the task list itself without having to click "Add New" each time. I don't need the full task editing screen for drafting a task list.
WAN RTT Path Hop Details
Hi, I using OpManager build 12200. I have noticed in a tutorial video that one can view the path hop details of a WAN RTT monitor by clicking one of the bars in the bar graph of the path round trip time history. The tutorial is based on previous version version of OpManager and the feature seems not to be available in the current version. Is this the case or is there some configuration I am missing?
Requester field within a project
I would like to be able to record who the requester of a project is and have a method in which to communicate to that requester in a similar fashion as a service request. This requester is often a sponsor or key stakeholder in which we are in constant communications with.
emailing reports
I set up reports and was able to set up emailing them out. Now I can't find the dialog for setting up email reports. I need to add an address. I can't find reference to "email" or "e-mail" anywhere in the documentation.

GUI is reachable from "localhost" only
Hello, we just installed OpManager but we found out that the GUI is reachable from localhost only. It looks that it is binded on 0.0.0.0:80 but looking at the tcpdump, if you try to connect from another machine to the GUI, it receives packet but does not respond anyway. Ho can I tell to OpManager to accept connection from other IP too? Thank You Regards M.

bit of a Strange Question
Hi, Is there anyway you can hide the description content that is displayed for requester's ? We have been placing IT instructions into Requests, so our teams can following instructions. When users raise a request they dont see these instruction...that is, until they create the request and they see the description, so is there any setting or any way of not showing this to them ? Hello, I'm in the middle of moving users Home catalogue from an old server to a new, and implementing DFS in the process. So now im trying to pull an advanced report when i want to include certain OU's. But Exclude some GPO's. I haven't found an advanced search option yet so im pondering if i should pull a report and include all OU and other extra columns, export to Excel and continue to sort it there. How do manager update Membership list
I have assign a manager to a group in order to update the member list. I have also provided a security role to the manager to allow Read/Write of the specific group. But I don't see how the manager can edit the list, unless he has a technical role in the tool. Seeing as there are hundreds of Manager, that would not scale-up, if we needed a technician role for every manager, just to update the memebership of their group. I've looked at the documentation and have not been able to find the steps. Is

User modification using custom template
Hello, I am actually having some issues when I am trying to modify some users of the Active Directory with a custom made user modification template. The thing is that when I am selecting a user from a report for modification and I am choosing my own template, the values that are actually in the active directory are not displayed. Applying a template to an existing Account
I remember this being discussed a few years ago but it was said that it was on the road map to be an added feature. It, however, never got added. An important feature for AD Manager Plus would be to allow a template to be applied to an existing user account like it during a new account creation process. Is there any idea when this feature will be added. It's been 3 years since this was last discussed.
Reset Password options
We use ADManager 5.2.0 (build 5210) and we would like to know if there is a way to limit what a person can do on the password reset screen? At our company it is common that users must change their password at next logon if they forgot there password. On the right site of the screen it now set to N/A, can we change this to default Yes so that our helpdeskstaff cannot change this?

Hello, I am evaluating ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus on premises. I am trying to import requesters from our OpenLDAP directory, following the documentation here https://www.manageengine.com/products/service-desk/help/adminguide/configurations/user-management/configuring-ldap.html The users get imported however their E-mail is missing. We do not use the mail LDAP attribute, but rather 'primaryEmailAddress'. As such I have set the LDAP Server Type to 'Others' and the Mail Attribute Label to primaryEmailAddress.

Hi, I have a monitor server type Sun Solaris, and send the message Authentication failed. Kindly verify the username and password provided, I proved and a can connect in shell to server with the same credentials. In fact, I created a new credential because the promt was wrong, when I test credential is Passed but still send the message. I checked with a telnet from Applications Manager Server to this machine and its Ok. Too, I checked the file hosts and is in it. Thank you for your help!

Can't add "plus sign" to field name
