Why are all my agent system tray icons grayed out
All my agent icons are grayed out. I right clicked on a grayed out agent and ran the troubleshooter, and it says everything is fine. When I try to remote control an agent, I get an error saying "Unable to establish connection with agent". I can run a scan of the workstations and the scan succeeds, so I know the server is talking to the workstation. I checked and port 8443 is open on the server, but not on the workstations. Does it need to be open on the workstations too? Any idea why

Agent Uninstall
one of my servers disconnected from the central server and didn't get any updates, when I tried to install the agent again it asked to uninstall old agent and install it again. The problem is that I can't uninstall the agent from add/remove programs and can't uninstall it from the Desktop Central Server. what's the procedure to remove the agent? oalamani
Desktop Central Agent PopUp Balloon
I have unchecked the all the options from the agent that would show a popup balloon.... but durring logon you get a single balloon that lets you know that DC agent has started.... is there a way to stop that balloon... I want to give my users the interface, but I dont want that popup to show everytime. Any help anyone can provide will greatly be appreciated. thx.

The key path we need is "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\keyname", but the key is created "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\keyname" and the Status is "Executed". I have alerts set up for hardware added/removed as well as software installed. I am getting an alert for all workstations whenever they are restarted. For example, when a PC is shut down, I get a Hardware Removed alert showing a Mapped Logical Disk : is removed from workstation for every mapped drive on my PC. Desktop Central Software doesn't support Windows 10 store apps
Windows 10 Store Apps cannot be identified as Commercial/ Non Commercial or allowed/Prohibited. I primarily use Desktop Central for Software auditing & struggle with Windows 10 store apps populating the inventory more & more. Is there also a way on the Software licencing page to add a "Goto page X of X" rather than just clicking next page? custom report for local groups
I am trying to make a custom report to show users in the local admin group on computers in specific remote offices. I found how to run a report by local group members but that doesn't have all the fields and filter I need. I want to break out this report to show only domain users in this group and break it down by remote office. I can not do this in the local group member report. Is there another way to run this as a custom report?

I need to capture a server image before it boots for the first time. HOw can I use the PXE server to accomplish this?
I am doing a job for the Department of Homeland security and need to make images of a server as it is hardened so that the powers that be can see what was done and when. This image will then be applied to multiple servers in two data centers. The first image to be made is the fresh out of the box, then I will capture images as it is hardened.

I bought 300 OS deployment licenses that I want to use over 3 year. I created a deployment task with name pattern and auto start when 1 computer is ready. The task stops running after successful deployment and the computer has the correct name. Now the problem is that when I start the task again for a new computer the name pattern starts back at the begin. It needs to go up sequentially. How to achieve this?
OS Deployer 4 - Deploy Successful But Will Not Boot
I am currently having an issue in deploying an image to a computer. We have deployed several images already with success. But the problem happens now that when we deploy an image, it "succeeds" but then we boot the computer and it doesn't go past the splash screen and reboots. Hi, I just recently installed OS Deployer to give it a whirl, and I've run into a bit of a problem. Everything is working fine until I try to boot into the OS Deployer Agent via PXE. Machine name and Domain not being applied to deployed image
We are currently using OS Deployer 4 (4.0.2.124) and have never been able to get on the features working correctly. On booting a machine onto the PXE server, the agent is loaded onto the target machine. We are then setting the machine name and domain name (See below) for the individual machine. Hi, we are trying to use OS Deployer to image some new laptops that don't have any onboard ethernet. We want to try and avoid using a USB to ethernet dongle or trying to deploy over the WiFi connection. Our thought was to install PE components on an external USB drive along with the deployment image, then boot off the USB drive and run installation from there. Is this type of deployment possible?

Hello, I am trying to use the PXE server on ME OS Deploy. When I boot a machine up to NIC, I get starting Manage Engine Loader-Downloading Bootwiz.cfg Then i get Acronis Loader: No configuration file present. I have uploaded the configuration components, created a PE boot environment and uploaded that as well. Option 66 and 67 have been configured. No other PXE exist on the network. Remote os deployment
Hi, I am trialing OSDeployer 4 and trying to setup pxe boot so a deployment can be made from the deployment server to a remote machine. I have configured the pxe client to auto start os bootup after 10 seconds, when I try to remote deploy an os to this machine, which is turned off, the machine starts correctly but it always boots into the os and does not perform a new deployment. Can you please shed some light on this for me. Thanks. Geoff.
No Config File PXE
Machines are not finding configuration file, when i try to use PXE. I have configured option 66 and 67. No other PXE is installed. Components have been uploaded. PE image created and uploaded. Machines will say they are downloading bootwiz.cfg but then indicate that no config file was found.
