Automate Patch Deployment keep logs
Hi, I would like to know whether it's possible with Automate Patch Deployment to create configurations for each deployment or logs, so that I can check the status of the deployment at all times for the computers, as if I created these configurations manually. The PDF files in one mail are not enough I'm afraid.
Schedule a Reboot of Computers requiring a reboot
I'm trying to figure out a way of scheduling a reboot of all the machine that require a reboot and with the DTC agent up\active. After patching there are always a number of machines that need a reboot but users do not always log off and switch off at the end of the day . I want to force a reboot of those machine in the early hours - I know I can schedule reboots but there are no filters to identify the machines that match my requirements Any advise? Andy
Batch or script file to get Windows info
I want to run a powershell or bat file to get info about each machine. The script will get system info and write it to a text file on the network. The intent is to find the specific version of Windows on the machine along with the hostname of the machine and write it to a place where it can be easily accessed on the network. software deployment question.. copy files with software install
Scenario: We need to install software. The software requires files to be copied to the root of all existing user folder's and to the root of all new users that would login. here is the folder path: C:\Users\<local user name>\Unisys\WebEnabler. I'm asking how to best set up a configuration or set of configurations to accomplish this task. My gut says that I need to add some kind of script to the Post-Deployment Activities in package creation but I'm at a loss on how to configure such a script.
Desktop Central Forcing Windows 10 to reboot
Good Afternoon, Is anyone aware if this is a know issue? A couple of members of staff have said that since upgrading their machine to Windows 10, Windows Updates have been forcing themselves through (even though this never happened on Windows 7) and they are also getting a prompt after a Windows update has been applied (without their input) to sat their machine will restart in 15 minutes, with no option to postpone the restart. Desktop central services will not start after installing Hotfix: build 92073
Last week I installed hotfix Build 92073. After installation desktop central services will not start. I have rebooted server few times with no results. SMTP relay for office365 email alerts
Gday all, i have created an SMTP relay and included that IPV4 with the SPF so it allows from the sending IP so i can get my alerts from desktop central. The issue i have is, if i change the mailserver to the MX record of the new office365 and click test email on port 25 it works. If i also use authentication it works but i didnt want to have to rely on using smtp auth with TLS, hence the relay. Is there a way to force it to use the relay as it works but when i click save it says it cannot authenticate?
92080 - MySQL

Agent Updating
Hi In my managed assets I have a remote laptop that has been registered to a distribution box. The laptop has been offline for sometime and now the agent is out of date due to DC Sever upgrade. The laptop has recently come online again but not on the same network. Because the agent is out of date and does not have access to it's original distribution server I can't update it. Can DC be used to deploy manually downloaded patches to machines in the LAN? I have a network that can't and won't touch the internet. Win7/2008r2 machines I have successfully remote installed agents on all machines. If I can't install patches I have manually downloaded from MS Catalog, is there a way to use another machine that can touch the internet with DC, choose the appropriate patches, then transfer the appropriate files to DC on the offline machine and remote install from there? Manage Licenses - Network Installations vs. Managed Installations
When managing licenses (under Inventory), what is the difference between a network installation and a managed installation ? We have both Windows 7 Professional (x64) and Windows 7 Professional (x32) installed on domained machines, but having added licenses for both, the 32-bit installations appear as managed, but not networked. Broken Remote Control

Currently the login page does not display your current version, and I don't memorize my current build number. Filtering Custom Groups fails to provide results in Patch Manager windows
Is anyone else having issues filtering custom groups in Desktop Central. This is frustrating when I am trying to schedule patching of a group and I can't filter the custom group I need to patch. When I try to filter the group all I get is a whiteout of the computer list and my custom group never comes up. I am getting this behavior in both Firefox and Chrome browsers. Please let me know if this is an issue that is fixed in the latest hot fix. Constance
