will agent be upgraded as well with the 6300 hotfix?

i am about to move my installation of desktop central this weekend, and wanted to apply the latest hotfix as well.
will the end users see any changes? right now we are configured to not show any indication that desktop central is running and would like it to remain that way.
please advise, thank you very much!
