OpManager Device Staus Trouble Messages
Hi I have just installed Opmanager 6 and I keep getting device status trouble messages. For example : - .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.9.3.1.1.1.1: 5, tcpConnState: 5, .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.6.1.1.5.192.0.9.241.80.192.0.9.127.1614: 0 hours, 0 minutes, 0 seconds. , .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.6.1.1.1.192.0.9.241.80.192.0.9.127.1614: How can these be stopped. Device Add problem
Hello, I have just installed DeviceExpert and working on it, when I add the device, it says "Status not ready" with RED cross sign. Can you please tell me how to resolve this problem? and how do i add a specific device with SNMP string? when I add device it does not give option to enter SNMP string. kindly tell me how to add devices in it. thanks, Ali
Auto Discover doesnt work
I have installed opmanger and when I do a auto discover it doesnt find anything. All my local machines on my network have a local firewall running. Any ideas.
no outgoing traffic visible
i have configured my 2600 router with following command ; int fa0/0 ip route-cache flow ip flow-export source fa0/0 ip flow-export version 5 ip flow-export destination 10.x.x.x 9996 i am able to get the in coming traffic on the interface but out going is not visible Can anyone help me out to sort what exactly the problem is. thanks, Vishal D.
XP Install help
Product looks really slick, but I'm having problems with a new install of the 4020 build demo I downloaded. I have tested some other NetFlow collectors so I know the router is config'd correctly. For the fun of it I verified that the traffic was coming to the collecter with correct port with a protocol analyzer. Netstat tells me that the correct udp port is open on the box. The Windows firewall is turned off. The netflowraw files are being created in the mysql\data\netflow directory so the data appears
WMI memory utilization monitor
I have set up 3 WMI monitors for a server as a test. CPU a utilization is at 23 %, which seems correct. Disk Utilization is at 32%, which may be OK as well. Memory utilization is at -123%. What could cause this? HP Proliant ML370, 5GB RAM, Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Ed. Thank you, David Conroy

Wrong legend color
I realized that when exporting consolidated report to PDF, the legend color for traffic out was orange instead of green in its original. Is there any way to correct this?
Java client doesn't work
Hi all, I have been installed the Opmanager 6.0 for 1 week and I found that the Java client doesn't work. Everytime when I start up the client the Opmanager start up the web client instead. Please advise how can I fix this probem cos I really want to try out the 'business view'. thanks, Alex

Hi, I'm trialling this product against WebLogic 6.1 but I am not having much luck. I can't seem to get most of the WebLogic details back on my monitors. It always says 'Data Collection in progress.Please wait till the next poll interval' at the top and doesn't show any JVM, EJB, etc info. Just 'Custom Attributes' and 'MBean Operations'. I have tried the default weblogic user 'system' and created a user call 'Admin' but not resolved it. Regards, Pete. SMS via command line interface
Hello, I am currently evaluating ServiceDeskplus & I've noticed that the SMS mechanism only caters for sms notification via email eg. you send an email to an sms provider & they send the text as an sms & not via a command line (like the sms configuration in OpManager). Is it possible to have the same configuration in ServiceDeskPlus as is in OpManager ? eg. command to execute to generate the SMS ? TIA Paul

How do users change their own passwords on Application Manager? I being the admin, do not want to keep track of passwords of users created on application manager.

LEA using R60
Good day, I set up the lea config and was able to pull the Cert, however nothing is reporting. Have full access to the Gateay. In the logs I can see the 'pull' but I do not see anything else. SecurPlatform R60 FW-1 NGX also tried on SecurPlatform R55 FW-1 NG-AI With same results Is there a way to force the pull of the logs? Thanks

SSL Mail support
I've read that you plan to add SSL support in a future release for HTTPS. Will you also be adding support/option for SSL email? The mail servers on our network require SSL. Without SSL we can't use the mail features of SD+. Thanks, Brent
Upgrade to 5001 error.
I installed the SP to upgrade SD from v4 to v5. This all went fine although when I applied the upgrade from 5000 to 5001 then Service Desk failed to work. I have tried removing SD and reinstalling v4 and restoring a backup but unfortunately this did not work. I have a backup from v4 which I wish to restore but preferably to 5001. Can someone convert a v4 backup file to a file I can restore with the latest build of SD? I have sent a couple of emails to support at servicedeskplus dot com but noone

Cannot upgrade to 5002
I have downloaded the patch from 5001 to 5002 but when I try to install it it says "This update is not compatible with this product" even though I have version 5001 installed. Any ideas?
Report for Hours Spent
I there a report for hours spent? I want to be able to generate a monthly report that shows each request with the logged hours spent by technicians. I did not see this as an option. I tried building a custom report, however, all the fields were not there that I needed.

I have installed the 30 day demo of Service Desk Plus and love the interface and features but can't get the Network scan to scan all our PC's. Not seeing all data
I cannot see all data from a specific IP. I am trying to see all http traffic between two devices but no http traffic is showing up. I know the traffic is there because I am initiating it and getting the webpage on port 80. I have created an IP group with the two device ip's and picked the vlan(routed) interfaces that the two devices are connected to. Please advise.

Notifications to users not linking
I have a problem that when a notification goes out for maybe a case being closed or a request being appended that when the user gets the email the link is not clickable and they have to paste the link in to a browser window. Anyone else have that problem?
Polling Intervals (Advice)
