Fast Ethernet Interface stats beeing Calculated on 1Mbps
Hello I have an issue on my Primary fastethernet connection. The interface is connected at 100Mbps. Netflow v5.0 is reporting this link at >100% utilised. Drilling dowmn on the reports I get a message under the main graph saying. The graph stats are being calculated on 1Mbps Any Ideas. Thanks Steve
csv format not importing all records
In Inventory, csv format not importing all records, if 3 records are there in csv file, it will give message after importing file---3records copied, added 1 record only. Need help. Kiran India

Printer Alarms
Is there a way to prevent OpManager from creating an alarm for all printer messages? We don't need an alarm to come up for messages like "Tray is Open." We just need to know if the printers are up or down (pingable or not). Thanks.
Archiving scheduled
I noticed from the file : "logs/stdout.txt" this message "Archiving scheduled" every hour! What this is means? OpManager's data have archives somewhere in the system? Thanks, Paul
Reports out of whack fonts all over the place
Hi When i am generating reports by qtr month etc, i find the words and fonts are out of whack either doubling up or not where they should be, also in SD+5.0 i find the columns are not adjustable and everything is squashed in please advise Cheers M8
Exchange WMI Monitoring
I have setup to monitor my excahnge server but the exchange dashboard only has N/A's in it.. I have run wmiadap /f from the command prompt on the exchange server.. but still only have N/A's. Any way to get those to show data ?

Monitoring/Reporting for certain hours
We're currently evaluating Applications Manager, but would like to be able to report availability and response times during certain hours on a daily basis (ie. 8am to 8pm M-F). In particular we're monitoring a series of Tomcat servers, but only offer availability during specifed contractual hours. Filter by EventID
Good Day, I am evaluating your product (I have 3 of you other products) and I am very interested. I am running into the issue where I get just too many windows events (around 120K a day) I have using the filter, but it is not enough. Is it possible to filter by EventID numbers? I would like to record only the events relates to SOX compliance for instance and remove all the extra events. Thanks for the help!
Changing the default number of hosts displayed
I'm not sure if this has been addressed before but I'd like to be able to change the default number of hosts displayed in the product from 10 to 20, or 30 etc. Does anyone know how that can be accomplished? Thanks, Mark

Install App Manager under LINUX
Hi, I would like to install and set up App Manager in Linux (OpenBSD). I have download App Manager.bin file, login as root, change the permission of the file to 777 and type "./AppManager.bin". However, it prompted "ksh: ./AppManager.bin: Operation not permitted". Does it need to compile before trigger? Shall I get the source file? Any idea? Thank you.

Hi, I have a switches with serveral vlan's because of IP phones. The connection goes like this: Switch - ipphone - computer (phone accts like switch) In oputils we see a more button and the ipaddress of the ipphone (a differen subnet than the computers) I don't want to see the ipphones and there vlan so ive add a vlan id, result i don't see anything on the switch is this a bug ....

I purchased OpManager and installed to a Winblows box initially. Would I be able to reinstall to a Linux box with the same license? Network project has freed up 5 servers I plan to put Linux on. Thanks Tony

Restore to database does not function
I've got 2 files in my backup directory one with and one without a .data extension. The one with the .data extension seems to list file attachment data, the one without has all of the data from my database. I've done restoreData.bat <filename> on both of these files, however no matter what none of the data seems to import (I've queried the database directly afterwards to verify import, the data is simply not there). However, it reports success and the error log fil shows no data. we had issues with
BUG - Overdue filter list
Requests that are in a queue don't have due dates until assigned to a technician. This is fine, however the Overdue filter should not show these requests since they are not overdue. Our unassigned request without due dates that are in a queue appear on the list when using the overdue filter. Regards David.
csv format not importing all asset records
Hi, When I use the CVS format to import asset records, not all records are imported successfully. Even though import message says all records have been imported, I can only see number of them on the asset list in serviceplus application. E.g I have 357 records in the csv file but only 29 items are imported successfully. Is there a limit on the asset record supported in serviceplus? Thanks.
Could not add Unix host
Hi All Support: We evaluate the EventAnalyzer be met problem. We could add host while the host is Windows. But could not add Unix host or got following message: "Unable to add following hosts: InvalidHosts:[TPECR3660]" We did testing install EventAnalyzer on Linux/Windows host, but got same result. Is there any possible reason result in this ?
Scan - serial number
I noticed that on a workstation scan all the information was captured including the model number of the computer however the serial number was not recorded. The scan was completed for an IBM Thinkcentre desktop computer. Any idea why it didn't find the serial number? That is probably the most critical piece of information recorded in a scan. thanks!

Unable to ADD Host
I'm trying to add a WINDOWS Machine so I can pull the windows log's from it. I already have it setup as a SysLog server on port 514 and it WILL NOT add the windows device and won't pull the Windows Logs. When I attempt to add a host I'm getting the following error: "Unable to ADD FOLLOWING HOST Duplicate: [FWall05]" FYI: I've deleted the Device for SysLog and tryed adding windows machine and then readding the SysLog, reset etc etc. And it doesn't get any SysLog data on port 514 that I resetup. Next Hop or user IP collecting?
Hi, I use only 2 days of your NFA 4, it's a great program, but i don't see the most importand data : our users net usage. My cisco router is 1841, with 1 internal interface and 2 dialer interface (ADSL). If i see the verbose data flow in router, it's contain the internal address as next hop data. So NFA collect data only my router outside datacount, not next hop or internal addresses. How can i configure NFA to collect NextHop data? Reporting on Overdue Requests
The standard reporting on Overdue Requests is too limited, buggy, requires to much mouse clicks and in the end the printed version looks bad. Sorry to say this, but the reporting module can not compete with the rest of the ServiceDesk modules!! Being an IT person I know that everybody wants their report differently. ERROR 1129: Host 'hostname' is blocked because of many connection errors. Unblock with 'mysqladmin flush-hosts' I got this error message occasionally! How do you turn off Auto-Discovery?
The auto-discovery is really screwing things up on our network. We fine tune devices, and then before we know it duplicates pop up all over because the auto-discovery incorrectly finds interfaces on our switches.routers/etc. How can we stop auto-discovery? It only lets us set the max to 15 days. We do not ever want this to run.

Is OpManager able to look for specific wordings in System log file (both Windows and Solaris) and trigger an alert? If so, how to set it up? Thanks.
There is no "Network Map" view in Chinese version
I found there is a "Network Map" view in the English version in the Web client. But it is NOT exist for Chinese version. I think that "Network map" view is necessary to representative topo relative. Hope this issue can be fixed ASAP. Thanks.
Date/Time Stamp Created - Can it be Modified?
Once a request has been created, it obviously date/time stamps it with current date/time. unfortunately most of the over worked HelpDesk people are not able to create the calls at the moment when they happen. Can the original create date/time stamp be changed once a request has been created and left in the "Open" state?
URL Monitoring - Linux
Where can I find recorder tool for linux? I am able to find only recorder.exe. Thanks Also, I need to record a sequence of URLs and also provide username/password as part of sequence. But, I see URL-Sequence is not recording the username/password? How do I achieve this? Can I get examples on how to use POST for URL Monitoring. Thanks.

Is it possible to do searches on a single ip instead of top 5 or 10 hosts. Sometime we want to see what a particular host has done and we want to single them out from the rest.....is this possible?
